Pretty good barber shop, a little pricy and I wish they had the option to make an appointment online. They were randomly closed on a Tuesday at 4 pm when Yelp said they were open, seems kind of like a gamble sometimes if they will even be open like it says they are on here. Cash only which isn't the most convenient for me. Overall I'd come here if I'm nearby (like walking distance) and the door is open but wouldn't go out of my way for it. read more

Came in for a Touch-up on an undercut. Instead of thinning the line on a .5" undercut, he proceeded to cut 3 inches into my hairline on both sides to give me what I can describe as a pineapple mohawk. This is the first time in 10 years I have had to shave my head. I went back in to ask for $30 out of the $50 I paid - and was insulted in front of the business owner himself by stating I looked both stupid before and after his haircut from "Edgar". Zero corrections, absolutely no support. What's sad is I grew up in this area - I got cuts from the owner and his associates a decade ago. The service has gone severely downhill and it hurts my heart to have to rate a small business so poorly due to childish behavior. Instead of settling over $30 and keeping $20 for the worst haircut I have ever received - I have to publicly document it on Yelp. Hurts my heart man. Owner said nothing and let it happen. All I can hope is he gets the children in line that he allows the privilege of cutting in his shop. Please improve. read more

Customer service is pretty bad. Like really bad. I can't speak for all the barbers there but the one I became acquainted with (Waldo) after my first cut totally gaslighted me and left me hanging when I returned for a second visit. I messaged him earlier in a day to coordinate a time but because of conflicting schedules, he told me he could do anything after 11am. After informing him that I'd swing by after my dental appointment, which was at 2pm, he responded with "Ok " Fast forward to 3:30pm. I walk in with my wife and just as I'm about to sit down, another barber asks me if I have an appointment. I said 'No, but I messaged Waldo and he said he'd take me in anytime after 11am' We both look at Waldo and he looks at me as if I just made stuff up. He first said I never contacted him. At this point, it's quiet in the shop and everyone is looking at me while my wife is awkwardly standing beside me. I pulled out my phone and showed him the messages. Then he says 'Oh you contacted me in the morning, but you never scheduled an appointment.' I reminded him that he said he would see me after my dental appointment. He then said that he was all booked and that he wouldn't be able to see me until a few days later. It's quiet and none of the other barbers said anything. At that point I just left. My wife and I walked out of there with everyone just staring. Awkward and frustrating. In all honesty, Waldo did do a good job with the haircut my first time around. However, when it comes to customer service, it's the polar opposite. Waldo kept telling me I never scheduled an appointment, which is technically true, but he never owned up to what he actually texted me. Had he been more clear in his text, I would have given him a specific time.Depending on how you look at this situation, we both are at fault but at the end of the day..never gaslight a customer. read more
