This is an ongoing problem with their warranty services. Windward AC & Heating was sent to my home after filing a claim with Choice. The concern they were to address was a noise coming from the HVAC system. Service provider proceeded to take apart my unit without first turning it on to determine possible source of the noise. Instead of having a working unit with noise before he came, I was left with a unit that didn't work at all. He didn't even put the unit back how he found it. Additionally, he was rude and very condescending in his communication. Against my better judgement, I was going to allow him to return into my home to put my HVAC back the way he found it, which he shouldn't have ever left undone. (S/N: I couldn't follow him to the attic, so not sure what he actually did in assessing my unit.) We had a set appointment time and he didn't show. A second confirmation call should have been placed if I missed the first one! Not professional in anyway! AVOID!!!!

The average cost with some google suggests the replacement for a TXV should cost between $185 to $750. Not only are they not standing by their work, they are looking to make a quick buck even after collecting upwards of $20k from me for my air conditioners. I regret ever letting this company do new units in my home. Clearly they do not stand by their work.
