Had a photo facial a few years ago by Dr.Shah...She zapped part of my eyebrow and it has not grew back since.I liked Janice.I went back for a radio frequency treatment on my stomach and was pleased with results and she is very nice...When they were located on Ryan and 12 they had a lot of very talented qualified technicians..i think Dr.Shah saw $$$ and pretty much did away with a lot of good procedures and employees..started doing the treatments herself??Go to ANYONE but Dr.Shah for ALL procedures. read more

Although the staff here is very personable there is a lot left to be desired. Maybe I'm spoiled? I like candles and soothing sounds when I get a massage and a warm room to help me relax and warm lotions/oils/creams. Cold dollops of cream rubbed in are not relaxing :( The masseuse was great but it's the little things that make you want to come back for more. I always thought a manicure included having your hands moisturized but not here a little cuticle push back and nail-polish and your on your way, not good. read more

Ageless Spa Medica in Chesterfield, I would never return or recommend them to anyone. I purchased a Groupon for $99 for an hour massage, an oxygen facial and a manicure; what I thought was going to be a nice little spa day. First, I called the office in Warren (which is about 15 minutes away for me) for an appointment but they didn't offer manicures and she said I had to call the office in Chesterfield. The Chesterfield office is about 40 minutes away but I was willing to make the drive. I called during office hours and had to leave a message two times and waited about a week before I received a call back. I was looking to have my spa day on a Friday but they didn't offer the manicures on Fridays; only Saturdays which of course was booked for several weeks. So I decided to forgo the manicure and scheduled an appointment for a massage and facial. Why offer it on a groupon if you can't accommodate your clients??? My appointment was for 1230, so I arrived at 1215 so I had time to fill out any paper work. I filled out my paperwork and waited for the massage therapist, and waited and waited. I did not go back into the room until almost 1:00pm! Once in the room, she asked me if I had ever had a massage and I said yes and she said 'ok get undressed and I will be back'. I get massages quite often and every other time I have gotten them there was at least a little consultation, not this time, it was not very personal. Given the wait, I felt I had been patient up to this point and I was ready to relax and to me relaxing is NOT talking about work. My job was the first thing she asked me about when she started the massage and then brought it up again, how stressful my job must be, near the end of the session. Maybe I'm spoiled but every other massage I have had the masseuse did not make small talk (unless it was related to the massage) and usually there is some music or a water fountain to help you relax. There was no music to help me relax and I could hear the two other staff members talking and then some fan or machine kicked on for about 15 minutes then stopped. Needless to say it was far from relaxing. Her actual technique was ok; some areas were a little more relaxed while some were kind of sore. I do realize that can happen but this was a standard Swedish and the pressure was not hard. I got out at 2:00 and I mentioned rescheduling the facial because I had to be somewhere by 3:00 and she had no idea what I was talking about, I don't think anyone was even there to do the facial even if I could have stayed. Not only did I not get a relaxing massage I drove 40 minutes to only get half of the services I scheduled for. Nothing about this experience was relaxing or enjoyable. To Ageless Spa Medica I would recommend; 1. To not offer services that you can't provide. Don't say you offer manicures if you only offer them one day a week in one of your locations, that doesn't seem logical. 2. Stick to your schedule, making a client wait 30 minutes is ridiculous. 3. For the most part a massage is a means to relax you, so create a more relaxing setting. You should look elsewhere for a relaxing experience. read more

Looking forward to my first facial followed by a one-hour massage in over 2 years! I d been to this spa and experienced trial sized services and was really looking forward to the treat! After a bit of a wait after my arrival, a gentleman came out to introduce himself as my massage therapist and facialist. I was surprised, not because of his gender, but because of his appearance. He was dressed in scrubs that were wrinkled, stained and ill fitting , and I m sorry - but he had the WORST breath. I literally had to step back to avoid it. He went back to prep the room and I told the manager at the desk that I was uncomfortable with a man as a massage therapist - I had not been give a preference choice when I booked the appointment. She assured me he was a nice guy, etc., and that I would really enjoy the experience. I debated whether I should try to reschedule, but with my work schedule being what it was, I decided to take a chance. With trepidation, I followed him back to the large, nicely appointed room I d been in before (with a canopy over the table, soft music and candles, etc.) - but before we got there, he veered off to another room. The room was dark, no music and for ambient lighting - he used the bathroom light off of the room - so the bathroom fan was what serenaded me during the entire massage! The sheets on the table had seen better days - very thin and torn - and they smelled like mildew! I should have left then - but, I d paid a deposit already and was afraid I wouldn t get my $ back. He consistenlty went too deep with the massage and I had to tell him often to ease up the pressure. I just wanted it to be over! Not the way you want to relax. I won t go into other details - but suffice to say - I did not enjoy it. After the massage/before the facial (what I was really looking forward to anyway), I spoke with him and the manager - he thought I was tense because he was a male and I was uncomfortable with having a man give me massage - I told him and the manager that I was disappointed because the room had no music, no candles, and that the bathroom fan noise had distracted me the entire time. I also mentioned about the sheets - the only thing I didn t mention was his appearance and breath. Thankfully, they switched me to a woman for my facial. I was looking forward to the lotions, steam and treatment. When I got in the room, there was a machine with a saline bag on it. She said she was going to give me my O2 facial. I replied what s an O2 facial? This is not what I d booked. But she made it sound like it would be a soothing treatment. Again - disappointment. She sprayed cold air with saline to clean out my pores - wiping as she went. After about 15 minutes later she was removing a hot towel from my face and she said - There you go, all set! I couldn t believe it! I replied, That s it? What about the lotion and stuff? She said that they didn t do that for O2 facials. I went to check out and pay my balance. When the manager asked how everything was, I again expressed my disappointment in the facial. Her only reply - Didn t they explain the O2 facial over the phone when you booked? NOoooo - they didn t - the first time I heard the phrase O2 facial was when I entered the treatment room. I was SO disapointed in this experience, the staff and the lack of concern from management. They didn t even offer a discount for a future appointment because of what happened. Just presented me with the bill. I m more disappointed in myself for not just leaving at the beginning when I should have and for just paying the rest of the bill. I didn t leave a tip - though. I will NEVER go back to that place. It may be great for those who want the laser treatments they offer etc. - but for someone looking for a relaxing treatment of pampering - this place is NOT for you! read more

I went to this place for laser hair removal, it didn't work for me like they said it was, it's very pricey.. I'm of a darker skin and they told me they have special lasers to work for my skin and it didn't waste of money and it wasn't cheap.. read more

This place is a scam...all hype. None of the things I tried worked...in fact, some caused me problems. The RF treatments did nothing. The Dr. claims to be an expert with botox, but it did the opposite of what they told me it would do....lowered my eyebrows instead of raised them (made me look angry and older). They convinced me to try collagen injections...I got an infection in each of the injection sites. Dirty and unprofessional place. read more
