I needed to use my service credits at this locarion recently…read more Online, about 2 weeks in advance, I reserved a 90-minute massage with Karen followed by a 30 minute stretch session. Days before the appointment, my stretch session was in question, however, the branch contacted me several times to discuss options and finally cancel the stretch appointment. On the appointment day, I arrived early and check-in was very easy. I was offered water or tea while I waited. The massage session with Karen was wonderful, she was very thorough and spent a good amount of time on my stress knots. The massage provided a lot of needed relief. I recommend booking Karen for a massage.

I scheduled a massage for my wife at Massage Envy to help relieve some stress building up in her…read moreneck and shoulders. Based on what my wife told me of the day it started like a normal appointment. Upon arrival, she said the location was clean, and the host promptly took my wife to her room. Everything seemed to start off well. When her massage therapist, Jeneen, arrived, she dimmed the lights--much lower than she has experienced before--which was a bit uncomfortable but manageable. My wife explained the areas she wanted her to focus on, and as she began the massage, my wife said it actually felt great. However, things took an unexpected turn. As Jeneen worked on the knots in her neck and shoulders, my wife let out a natural, involuntary moan--something many people do when tension is finally being released. To her surprise, Jeneen stopped and told her she didn't appreciate the sounds she was making and that she needed to stop. My wife was completely shocked and embarrassed. Never before has she been reprimanded during a massage for simply reacting to relieving the stress much less being lectured. What was supposed to be a relaxing experience quickly turned into one where she just wanted it to be over. When my wife told me what happened I was equally surprised, as I have never heard of anything like that happening. After she left, she called to express our disappointment regarding the lack of professionalism after the shock wore off. The receptionist assured her the feedback would be passed along to the manager, but no one ever followed up. While others may have a different experience, this was hers. And if you happen to express you're enjoying your massage a little too much, be prepared that Jeneen might just give you a lecture mid-session.
