It was just under a week so I was very grateful that they were available. I called back on Thursday to confirm and was told by Tom that they have me down for 9am on Sunday and they had my address. Sunday comes, I call just after 9am. Tom picks up and says he does not know anything about the move and that I may have spoken with his son, also named Tom, apparently. He said they don't have me listed anywhere and he did not have any trucks available. The best he could do was meet me Monday morning between 9-10am. He apologized and said he would take 20% off the bill and agreed to reduce the minimum hours required. Okay. Monday comes. At 10am, I call and it goes to a voicemail so I leave a message. I call again at 10:15am and someone answers saying the owner of the phone lost it and he plans to meet him later to return his phone and that I should leave a message hoping he would check it. I left another message. I have never received another call from either Tom. NO CALL, NO SHOW, 2 DAYS IN A ROW! I ended up looking at U-Haul's website hoping I could get a few people to help me move my large items since my family and I moved just about everything else at this point. Thankfully, U-Haul now partners with moving helpers. I checked out reviews and selected a company called Pack and Load Pros out of N. Highlands. They fit me in the same day since it would be a quick job and I was able to complete my move. BHP Moving and Storage are, by far, the most unprofessional moving company I've ever dealt with. I had to take an extra day off of work and instead of paying for moving services, I had to put a huge burden on family members and myself to do extra lifting and moving unexpectedly. Using the alternative method cut my moving costs in half so I still see the blessing at the end of it all. But I warn you to use another company.

Mike, Howard and Steve came to our Vallejo home ready to move us on time and with a smile on their faces. Everything was moved quickly and professionally into their van and they drove to our new home in Vacaville to promptly unload. I went with the "other movers" initially as Eddie was busy the weekend of the proposed move. The scope of the move was to transport the couches from Petaluma to Napa. Once in Napa, the couches were to be delivered to the second floor. The "other movers" postponed our move one day due to a scheduling conflict on their part. On the day of the move, I had to use my personal truck to supplement their truck that was way undersized for the job. They moved the couches from Petaluma to Napa however, when it came down to moving it upstairs in Napa, they were convinced that it couldn't be done. They left the couches on the first floor to our dismay while still charging us the full amount claiming that the couches were larger and heavier than they anticipated. (Mind you I gave them all the specifics of the couches before hand.) In comes Eddie and team to save the day! I called Eddie a day later and he was super responsive. I shared my story with Eddie and he was eager to take on the challenge. Eddie walked the job with me and confirmed that the job could be done. He sent his best guys out to the job the following day and they arrived promptly. Very courteous and eager to get the job done. During the move they were very respectful of the items and also the property. Making sure not to damage anything. The three movers worked in unison and got the couches moved in under 45 minutes. While it was difficult moving the oversized chaise and the heavy sleeper sofa, they got it done. No complaints or issues. Only high fives all around when the job was done. I will definitely be using Eddie's services in the future and recommend that Eddie be your first call. (Learn from my mistake.) Eddie's customer service should be the standard for all services. He will get back to you promptly and listens! His positive attitude is infectious and his team carries the same demeanor.

Thank God I see the true colors and now I definitely don't feel remotely bad for this review of my experience.... Be careful who you allow in your home... These worldly demons come in human form! If you don't want the bad reviews you rightfully earn then offer "quality & efficient service" . Guilt tripping me with you having kids.. This will be our third year installing Christmas lights with Antonio and his crew!…read more I can't emphasis enough the relief it is to have lights put up and taken down without risk of anyone falling off a ladder and breaking a limb! We have done clear lights as well as the holiday style (red, green, white) and get compliments each year from neighbors and passers by! (We like a clean aesthetic so I don't know how much styling they can do if you like to be extra on your display, so you'll have to ask!) They are easy to schedule, very communicative, and get the job done in about 2 hours with a crew of about 4 dudes. They also do free maintenance in case a bulb comes undone due to heavy weather! Not cheap, but peace of mind, convenience, and beauty never is!

I am a disabled women approaching 70 who primarily uses a walker in my 2100 sq ft house. I bought the house from a widow whose husband was disabled, therefore there are no raised moldings (or transitions) in my home making my walking easy. When I placed my order I specifically requested NO TRANSITIONS, which was a big part of why I bought my flooring here and is in the contract. However as they put in the flooring they installed these raised transitions which are like speed bumps for me which is dangerous for me. When I called to complain I was told they were working on it. I have been given the run around since this March with no results except empty promises. Every time I hobble over one of these I get completely stressed out and fear falling. I don't feel comfortable accessing the exit to my house because there are two speed bumps which has removed my ability to enter and exit my own house independently which they are aware of. Now I regret spending my $8,700 there. I feel as if I have no other options but to sue. I had to sue a bank and insurance company (and won!) so I know what a lawsuit entails and will do that if they don't address this. This is a warning to anyone buying flooring here. They do not keep their promises even when they are backed by a contractual agreement. If I could give them a no star rating I would have. Buyer beware.

Rude and lack of follow up, should be zero stars…read more Stephan emailed me Sunday saying that one of his guys was going to try to break from a bigger job to come do my job Wed-Friday. I replied on Sunday saying that would be great just let me know what time. I didn't receive a reply so I texted him on Wednesday. Didn't receive a reply so I texted him today (Thursday) and his response was that they're busy and if I'm going to keep asking they aren't coming....this wasn't a favor, this is business and I need to make arrangements to have someone at my home when they go but I guess he doesn't feel it's important to give that sort of consideration to someone that doesn't have a big job.
