Regarding service I had beginning of 2020. Had a couple of guys come over to move stuff around my house, the biggest being a refrigerator. They were fast, careful, and easy to work with. And they finished the job before my estimated time slot that I paid for. Regarding setting this up, the company's scheduling and payments is on the computer and nobody answers the phone nor confirms my appointment. I got some robot emails to confirm it a couple times though. And on the day it was scheduled, I was admittedly not sure about anybody ever showing up and my money would be gone. But people did show up on time. It would be nice to speak to someone. Also I paid for more time than it took. Do you loose that money if they work considerably less time than set up? read more

I refuse to use any other moving service. This is the second move that Agile has done for me. They are prompt, extremely professional and they wrap and move my stuff like it's theirs. Booking them is easy, straight forward and efficient with Jamie. I always have my boxes sealed and ready, but the big items, tables, couches, beds, TVs, etc... they will take it down, securely wrap them and everything before they move you. They don't just move your stuff, they have great attention to detail; they happen to put all of my stuff in the correct place at my new location, minimal direction. The crew is absolutely amazing! That is why I am giving this company five stars! The actual work is phenomenal. Hire these guys if you have a lot to pack up in moving trailer. They get so much more into spaces then we could have ever figured out how to do. We used them for sone of our packing earlier too. It really helped having them come a little bit at a time as we prepared for huge cross country move because they gained a sense of what our belongings consisted of before the trailer loading began. However, calling back to make any schedule changes or ask any billing questions is another story altogether. Good luck catching anyone on the phone. Then be very careful how you try to changes the hours you booked. Don't ever use word cancel, (even if more then 48 hours in advance). EG don't say cancel Thursday and schedule Friday instead. The office phone staff will try to keep your Thursday prepayment money and make you pay again for Friday because they don't refund cancellations. Obviously they understand that it's a change, not cancellation, and the hairsplitting arguments that ensue once they tell you the other money is being kept are infuriating and completely unnecessary. Change isn't something listed on line with the bookings. So if you work graveyard shift or just can't reach a live person on the phone, it's very difficult to change the hours booked and reschedule to another time when the only option is cancel the original appointment. Dwayne, we found your strap for lifting heavy items. I left a phone message on the billing line and scheduling line on separate days. A week later and no call backs? Not sure if they ever passed my message on the strap to you? We temporarily are at another local residence for next couple weeks before we head out of state. read more

This review is long overdue but these guys deserve 5 stars. We hired two guys for labor only. They arrived on time though on short notice. These two guys were surprising "agile" and efficient. They wrapped up our furniture nicely for transport in our Uhaul and then unloaded them and helped us put them in place at our new house. Our 3 hour job ended being 6 hours and they were so hardworking and pleasant we gladly paid and tipped them well. They made our move less stressful and their good attitudes were even better. I delayed posting this review from July 2019 because I wanted to allow time for resolution of a claim (still have not received payment 7 months later). My experience started off positive. The movers were professional and informed me that there was a delay in their arrival time. I was a bit disappointed because the description of the truck and trailer being used was not accurate, but I was going to make the best of it. However, it seems that a lot of time was spent wrapping and strapping furniture to the trailer and putting things inside the bed and cab of the truck. We had to make 2 trips and there were still items that couldn't be moved. The job ended up going overtime. At the end of the job the mover had trouble processing my payment because he needed to update the software. Before we figured out that an update was needed he told me that something was wrong with my card (the nerve). He accidentally entered the charge incorrectly. I was still in the process of moving, and received multiple calls/texts/messages/email about completing the payment before I had a chance to reply later that evening. I wish they would pay my claim with that same energy. read more

I booked two guys for the two hour minimum to move a refrigerator, a dishwasher and a heavy 36" stove from the garage up some stairs and into the kitchen. They showed up on time and worked hard to move the appliances. They also helped pick off the protective plastic and got the stove in place once the gas and electrical was hooked up. I found Dwayne and his company about 6 months ago when I put an ad on Craigslist about some help I needed with a back store room in San Rafael. I was really impressed with his professionalism and attitude. He's the kind of guy that sees what has to be done and does it before you get a chance to point it out. Dwayne saw that my truck was too small to fit everything I wanted, so he went and picked up theirs so that they could still honor my reservation time span while loading everything I requested. They will damage your property, leave without finishing and never respond to you again! This is the actual letter I sent to Agile Moving almost one month ago. I have given them more than enough time to respond. I've tried emailing and calling multiple people , multiple times but they refuse to speak with me concerning the damage they caused to my property. I provided them with clear pictures so that there was no doubt that they are responsible but they will not stand behind there promises. Agile Moving Your company provided a move from unit to container service for me at 536 Churchill Downs Ct., Walnut Creek, CA 94597 on Thursday September 27, 2018. I have waited until everything has been unpacked and analyzed to contact you. I was very disappointed in the way your employees handled the job. I asked them when they arrived if they had experience loading and packing containers, they said yes. They moved all of my belongings out in to the parking lot first, leaving everything unattended for long periods of time. I asked them about it and their response was that they needed to get everything outside before they could decide how to load it. At between 4.5 and 5 hours they decided to start loading the container because their time was apparently running out. They came to me and said everything would not fit and they had to leave so they could beat the traffic back to Pittsburg, leaving the job incomplete. They left two box springs worth over $100.00 a piece that I had to give away as well as about ten other items and boxes. I worked with Upack in detail on all of the items and they assured me that if properly loaded everything would fit fine. The containers were delivered on Tuesday October 9, 2018. We carefully unloaded and unpacked every item. I am providing you with pictures of the damage to multiple pieces of furniture due to improper packing and/or loading by the movers you sent. The two cribs that are damage were placed on the bottom of the containers with heavy and hard items on top. By loading it like this, the friction of the items moving around caused the damage. Three things here are extremely bothersome to me. One, they should have never been loaded like that. Two, I told them about a similar mistake I had made almost six years ago causing damage like this to the footboard of my bed in hopes to help them not make the same mistake. Three, I provided them with six brand new ratchet straps to secure the load from moving around and they did not bother to use a single one. The damage could could have easily been avoided and should have been avoided, there was no sense in it. The cribs are my children's cribs, they are both extremely expensive and very valuable to us. The mattress was smashed in because they loaded things in front and behind, unevenly and forced the door closed. By doing this they ripped and put a large hole in the bottom of it. This mattress is only two years old and very expensive. The patio table was forced in and smashed, causing the entire bottom to shift as you can see in the pictures. I have tried and cannot straighten it back to the way it was before being loaded. The television / entertainment piece was wrapped, covered , moved and packed solely by your employee. As you can see in the pictures it appears that he wrapped the legs above the glass way too tight with plastic rope causing a rope burn effect to the wood while in transit. Lastly, we are missing a box containing a small safe. I am requesting that Agile Moving Services take responsibility for the damage and lost items. I am not claiming that your employees stole the safe but they negligently left my possessions sitting unattended in a parking lot for anyone to take. The cribs need to be refinished and the patio tables and chairs need to be replaced because I started with a matching set. The damage to the mattress also needs to be addressed. I am requesting that you provide me with the proper restitution to make all of the damaged items the way they were before your company handled them as well as compensation for the safe. I hope that you are a stand up company and care about your work and reputation and you will make this right.lease do not trust this company with any of your packing or moving needs. read more

The crew of 2 we booked for 3 hours moved our 2 bedroom apt. within the timeframe. They were kind and fun to talk to as we all helped in some fashion. I am rating Agile movers three stars to be fair. I have used Agile Moving Services many times and have been satisfied, even thrilled with their service in the past. But I am very disappointed with my latest experience. When my move took longer than anticipated, Agile movers charged my Debit Card rather than the credit card that I used to book the truck and movers. When I followed up with Jaime, who answers the phone, she was no help. She just passed the buck to the owner Dwayne. I received responses from a representative that the I gave the company permission to use my debit card when I signed up for their service. That was three years ago and I did not use my debit card to book the truck and movers. The excuses were unacceptable. Rather than trying to make things right, a representative blamed me and Four Square for the error. Well, it is too bad, because I have several moves on the schedule between now and the Spring.
