I have serious anxiety when it comes to dental work. I've had much work done and most has been unpleasant. Dentists always rushing, going patient to patient. Not Dr Yumiaco!! She focuses solely on you. She takes her time. No rushed numbing, asks if you need breaks, takes her time. If you are someone who fears getting the "shot" like me or the anxiety of rushed work then Dr Yumiaco is your person. I had put off getting two crowns for five years due to traumatic experiences with so many other dentists. Yesterday I finally got enough nerve to have done and let me tell you, my experience was wonderful. I felt so cared for and in the best hands! I will also say Dr Yumiaco never pushed me or guilted me to get work done. She was always honest of what needed to get done but never pushed me. She also offered to get referral for sedation if I felt more comfortable with that. That told me it's not all about money for her. It's about what the patient needs. And my last kootos of Dr Yumiaco is my son had to get implant of front tooth years ago. The color ended up being wrong. It bothered me for over a year and I finally let her know. She took a look at it and saw it wasn't right. She was willing to fix it and didn't charge us. That is very rare. I'm so grateful my friend let me know about her. The office staff are wonderful. They are inviting, friendly and professional. The interior is decorated beautifully with art work from Dr's family, peaceful music in the background and very clean. I have been a patient for 16+ years and my teeth have never looked better.
