Cafe Agora looks completely different now. The place has been fully renovated, and it's so posh! The prices have gone up a bit, but the food is still just as delicious as I remember. Since the renovation, I've been back twice, and both visits were great. On my first visit, I ordered the Agora Mixed Grill ($28), which came with adana kebab, lamb kebab, chicken kebab, and lamb gyro, served with rice, salad, and pita. It's basically a dream plate for meat lovers. Everything was flavorful, and the meats were tender and juicy. On my second visit, I went for the Adana Kebab ($22), a grilled spicy ground lamb skewer seasoned with red bell peppers and also served with rice, salad, and pita. It was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of spice. Overall, the new atmosphere feels upscale without losing the welcoming vibe, and the food quality remains excellent. Definitely worth revisiting if you haven't been since the remodel.

Inside is so cute, food is good, service is attentive and nice! I love the bread, all of the dips are so good. A must if you go here. There is complimentary tea!

I sat at the bar since I was alone. AJ was a great server and bartender. The food was great and perfectly cooked. Just enough char and seasoning. Most of their seating is upstairs so be aware. One nice thing is that they have free parking across the street. Ambiance is nice but casual.

Tastefully decorated interior with matching plate designs. They gave us a complimentary lentil kofte to start which was very light and refreshing with the lettuce wrap. The babaghanoush was smoky and paired well with the warm pita. Entrees came out shortly after. My beef kebab was super tender, and the orzo had a tasty tomato flavor. My boyfriend's mixed plate had a lamb chop, lamb kebab, chicken kebab, and Adana kebab (spicy ground lamb). The best was the lamb chop, which was pretty high quality and tender. The baklava was a delicious end to the meal, with buttery layers of dough and satisfying pistachio flavor. The ice cream was a good accompaniment. Service was excellent, super friendly and attentive. We did have to box up our leftovers though, while some other places with a similar price point tend to box them up for you. All in all, very impressed with the food here and would recommend!

Wow, what a great experience! Terron was a fantastic server - he treated us like family, and was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and respectful. The mezze platter is a great appetizer for the table - highly recommend so you can try all the dips - my favorite was the eggplant salad. The asude chicken was a bit too charred for my taste. The baklava dessert with vanilla ice cream was excellent, simple and tasty! Appreciated the ambiance, intimate, and comfortable.

Came for my sisters birthday and it was great from start to end. We ordered the babaghanoush, Greek potatoes, and spanakopita; let's just say they did not disappoint. We actually missed an order and when we advised they brought it out on the house no question. Our server was sure to explain everything well and give recommendations. For entrees we ordered the falafel, chicken kebob, branzino, and angora mixed grill they all had rice and a salad. All entrees were a nice portion and seasoned very well. We sat upstairs it's a smaller venue with mild lighting but a nice vibe for a dinner date or small party function. I will definitely be returning!

First time dining here but it's a favorite of my colleagues. I went with the Salmon plate for lunch and it was delicious. Salmon was fresh and well cooked, as well as everything else on the plate. Service was quick, especially for the lunch hour. I loved the vibe of the place, as it made me feel welcomed and it was perfect for our group. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

This restaurant is very clean and tidy. The floor is shiny. The plates are beautiful too. This was my first stress-free meal of this Atlanta trip. It was absolutely delicious. Thank you!

An incredibly decorated and cute restaurant. It has seating outdoors, at the bar, and upstairs. We came for lunch on a weekday. It wasn't super crowded and the service was quick! Our waiter gave us great recommendations and we shared a mixed platter. The salmon was well cooked and the gyro was tasty! Would recommend!

I can't believe I haven't been here yet Hands down the best Mediterranean food I've ever had in Atlanta. And it's down the street from me. Perfect. More Baklava please!! that was the absolute best ever! Make sure to order it. Michelle was super awesome and took care of me quickly. Answering all the right questions. She's awesome. The outdoor sitting was cool with the overhead art piece.

What a cute spot! We came on a Monday night and were surprised at how busy the place was. We were sat upstairs right away. Unfortunately, there were a few large parties and the server was very nervous about a delay in our dinner but we did not think it was much of an issue. The food was very tasty. I really enjoyed the babaganoush and the cream sauce on my salmon. I was shocked at how large the salmon portion was. I would come back!

I absolutely love this restaurant. The service is phenomenal from the hostess to the waiter. It is kid friendly! The ambiance is relaxed but still slightly elevated. Our daughters enjoyed the asude kebab - the chicken was tender and seasoned to perfection! The rice had ingredients they are too picky to enjoy but they did eat the white rice. We also had the shrimp saganaki for appetizer. It was ok - it could have used a bit more seasoning. We got warm pita to share with the table. The best item we ordered was the salmon plate - OMG so amazing! The salad it came with was so delicious and fresh! We love this restaurant and will go back for sure!

Cutest pillar of bowls decorate the pillar at the bar. Great place!!

The hostess, Evelyn, greeted us and welcomed us to Kyma by giving us both a flute of pink champagne celebrating their 24th year anniversary. This was definitely a first for us. We were then escorted to a booth which was set up for just two people and it was very comfortable and roomy. Our server Melina, who is from Greek ancestry, greeted us and showed us the menus. We told her it was our first time at Kyma and would need some help with deciding what to get from the extensive choices offered. She said she would be happy to help us and wanted to know if we'd like to start with a cocktail. I opted to try their "Dirty Greek martini" which came with feta stuffed green olives, and my husband decided on an Old Fashioned. We also ordered a bottle of Sparkling Water which she brought with a plate of fresh limes. Her first suggestion was a "Spread Pikilia which consisted of four different hummus's accompanied by warm pita bread cut in triangles which was a great way to rev up the taste buds. Next, at her suggestion, we ordered a lamb pie which has quite a story behind it. Chef Pano Karatassos beat Chef Bobby Flay on Beat Bobby Flay using his signature lamb pie recipe. It's was so delicous we could see why it won the bake off. For the next course, I had the Fasolatha (navy bean soup) which was superb and my husband had Lavraki that came with the most incredible crackers. When combined with the lightly seasoned ceviche, it dissolved in your mouth for a unique taste. Before our main course Melina suggested a Greek tomato salad and a watermelon sorbet combination to cleanse our palette for the main course. Again, her suggestions were amazingly delicous. By the way, the courses were brought out by servers dressed in white, which looked like they were chef's and was a nice touch. We both had the same main entree which was lamb chops that had been marinating for 3 days and were so tender they melted in your mouth. It came with Greek fries seasoned with cayenne pepper, but we really wanted to try the lemon fingerling potatoes and asked if we could have those instead, and she said, "Of Course". The service was super impressive and the food exceptional, but without Melinda's help we would have been flying blind through all the options because we were not very familiar with high end Greek cuisine. Instead, with her guidance, we had a wonderful dining experience and enjoyed some unique tastes and flavors. We were very full by the end of dinner, but we still wanted to try some of their baklava, so she suggested we get it to go, which we did, and it made for a very tasty late night dessert. Before we left we asked Melinda to please have the Manager come over to our table so we could tell her how wonderful our service and food had been. Emma was thrilled to hear all the compliments we were giving the staff and the out of this world cuisine, and said they very much looked forward to seeing us again at the fabulous Kyma restaurant.

The meal was phenomenal: Whole Lavraki (Greek Sea Bass): Perfectly grilled, extraordinarily fresh, and delicate. Served simply with capers, lemon, and olive oil, it highlights the quality of the fish without overwhelming it. Absolutely a signature dish for a reason. Greek Tomato Salad: Crisp, ripe tomatoes, peppers, olives, and a rich block of feta--so refreshing and classic. Lobster Pasta: My friend ordered this, and I have to admit, serious food envy kicked in! The pasta was perfectly cooked, coated in a luscious, flavorful sauce, and topped with generous, juicy pieces of fresh lobster. Kyma continues to set the standard for Greek seafood in Atlanta. Always an incredible experience--can't wait for my next visit!

Stopped in for the first time last week. I had this bookmarked for a while and decided it was time to check it out for date night. Hubby ordered the beef sticks with grape leaves and I ordered the burger with a side of fries. We started out with the saganaki (flaming cheese). Everything was delicious with the exception of the grape leaves (can't recall the official name of this dish). I told hubby that some reviews had mentioned they were soggy and not too good. He agreed with those reviewers and would not recommend. The saganaki was both literal and metaphorical fire. The pita points it was served with were crunchy, which was pleasantly surprising. We both did wish there was some kind of sweetness to complement the cheese like a fruit jam or something, but it was delicious regardless. The beef on the sticks was tasty as was the burger but the star of the whole show were the fries. Hubby typically does not like fries but he loved these and was happy that I let him share them with me. Lol I am not sure what kind of seasoning they had but our taste buds definitely approved. They don't come with the burger but were definitely worth getting on the side. It was a little on the pricey side at about $35-40 more than our typical date night spend for less food, but it was good overall. Too pricey to make it into our weekly rotation, but will be a nice addition to our special occasion options.
