Very good place! It's located inside of the CODA building, which I believe is a coworking/business space. Read the other reviews and tried to get free parking on 4th street, but all spots were taken and I'm not sure they were free. Parked inside of the garage and it was the worst garage I've been in lol. Very dank and stank and dark--park close to the elevators if you can! The building is beautiful, airy, open and has lots of seating (in the food hall area). The food was hot and the area was clean. Customer service was ok. I got the rosemary chicken with garlic sauce, pasta and veggies for sides and they give you 1 falafel. Also got an Izzy. The food was delicious. Falafel was light and airy. Chicken was juicy and well seasoned. Wish I got a larger serving of pasta! My food was 22 dollars plus 8 dollars to park. The downtown location has always been my favorite restaurant when visiting Atlanta. He was a pleasant surprise to find out that they have a second location. I was really happy because the downtown location closes early and during the daytime because I'm busy with work during their hours of operation. Through my last visit it just so happened that my flight was overbooked and I had to stay an extra night low and behold I find out they have this location open for lunch and dinner so I immediately jump an Uber and went straight to Aviva to check them out. The workers are a resemblance of Kameel, very warm, friendly and engaging. The food was up to par. I went for the salmon which was outstanding as usual and I grabbed a falafel wrap to go which again was outstanding. There are a few locations around the Atlanta area, and this happens to be the one I can easily get to for lunch, but all of them hit. Consistently good quality and tastes amazing! You know it's popular when you see the line that forms for lunch every day. This particular location is in CODA, The Collective Food Hall at Tech Square, and it gets pretty busy with students and workers nearby. Aviva is a pricier option compared to the other food options it shares space with, but the flavor, portion, and freshness cannot be beat. While waiting in line, you should be able to see the digital screens above that show the choices you have. For me, the rosemary chicken is such a standout menu item. Even waiting in line, I had my eyes on it. I typically get the plate, and sometimes if I'm not feeling the sides they have, I get their creamy chicken soup. I think every plate you order, they also throw in one falafel, which was nice. I thought I wasn't a fan of falafel, but that's because most places I've had it make it dry and crunchy. Aviva's had a nice crisp exterior and a soft interior, which helps the flavor come through a lot better too. I'd consider ordering falafel more often if I know it'll taste this good. Now, the rosemary chicken is cooked perfectly, the meat is tender and the skin is seasoned beautifully. If you do not mind truly digging into your meal and getting a little messy, this is so worth it. The creamy chicken soup is also a great pick, especially for cold days. It's warm, rich, and yes indeed, creamy. The cheese in it is incorporated well, and if you aren't looking for a full meal for lunch, just getting the soup is a good option. NEW BUCKHEAD LOCATION ALERT!! The new Buckhead location of Aviva by Kameel is to die for. I've never met kinder more generous employees. The employees energetically greeted each customer upon entering treating them like family. They treated each customer to a mini bowl of soup (which was amazing) while they ordered/waited in line. They also are so generous with portions- I got SO much chicken and large portions of my two sides. Mr. Kameel gave me a free homemade pita which was the fluffiest best pita I have had in my entire life. You cannot leave without trying it I can't even describe how good it is. He also gave me a falafel to try which I definitely would recommend- it wasn't like any falafel I've had before (in a good way). It is a little expensive- but I believe worth every penny. Mr Kameel is also big on using 100% extra virgin olive oil which is super healthy! They have both inside and outdoor seating- definitely a nice place to dine outside when the weather is nice! Perfectly crispy on the outside, but soft and moist on the inside. I got it with tahini dressing and it was good! It only comes with 4 falafel balls, but you get 3 sides instead of 2. For my 3 sides, I chose veggies, sweet potatoes, and pasta. All were delicious! The sweet potatoes were so sweet and spiced so nicely. The pasta was so creamy and tasted like elevated macaroni and cheese. - Chicken Shawarma Platter ($12.95): I liked the falafel better than the chicken shawarma. Not in the photo: focaccia bread and a falafel for $16. We were both stuffed after this single portion. Atlanta's longtime top-rated Yelp restaurant, Aviva by Kameel, has opened a second location. This time, it's in Midtown on the campus of Georgia Tech. It's inside The Collective at Coda, a food hall (food court) on the ground level of the new, slick-looking Coda high-rise office building. This Midtown location of Aviva by Kameel is more accessible than their popular Downtown location at Peachtree Center for a couple reasons: (1) The Peachtree Center location is only open for lunch, Monday-Friday. This location is open for lunch, Monday-Friday *and* it's also open for dinner, until 8pm, on Friday and Saturday nights. (2) This location has more parking options. Since Aviva by Kameel at Peachtree Center primarily serves downtown office workers, the parking options are slim to none (paid deck parking). On my Friday night visit, I parked in one of several free spots on 4th St NW. At the time of writing this review, parking on 4th St is free. Alternatively, you can park on Spring or West Peachtree and use the ParkMobile app to pay for and monitor your parking meter. This saves you money if you're just ordering takeout and won't be long. Finally, Coda has a garage. The garage is the most expensive option and I'd only use it as a last resort. Aviva does not validate. Unlike the Downtown location, Aviva's Midtown location does not offer online ordering (at least, not at the time of my visit). It's a minor inconvenience for those, like me, who have grown accustomed to online ordering and instant pickup. I didn't mind, though. Chef Kameel Srouji and son Nas were in the house and they are what earns Aviva by Kameel that fifth star. They're an essential part of the experience. Aviva by Kameel at Peachtree Center has been a regular stop for me during my annual weekend trips to Dragon Con, so I've grown familiar with the restaurant's food over the years. I've also gotten to know Chef Kameel through an intimate charity dinner. He's incredibly charming and often says, "I love you" to everyone he meets. Nas is also friendly and charming in his own way. He calls me "brother" or "friend" every time he sees me and it's always in a gentle, warm manner. Finally, these guys love to give out free food, usually in the form of fresh fruit. It's just what they do. It's a nice gesture. This generosity and kindness is endearing. It's a big reason why people love Aviva by Kameel and why the business is consistently rated five stars. On this visit (my first to this location), it made me happy to see Chef Kameel cooking and humming away in the kitchen while Nas was running the show. Nas and a young female coworker were offering free soup to every customer. I had to decline a few times before finally accepting. They really wanted to treat me to some soup. Nas recommended the seafood soup, but since I'm allergic to shrimp, I went with the chicken and mushroom soup. It was extremely delicious. Five stars. I love chicken and mushroom soup and I think Aviva by Kameel makes *the best* chicken and mushroom soup. My soup was delectably creamy and packed with enormous flavor. Other ingredients included bell pepper and onion. I highly recommend it. I got a couple platters to-go. At Aviva, you can make any protein a platter, sandwich, or salad. Meals are priced by protein and include two sides. For one platter, I got the salmon ($15.75) with creamy spinach and baba ghanoush. For the other, I got chicken shawarma ($10.95) with falafel and tabouli salad. About $11-16 is generally the price range you can expect to pay for one meal. Kameel makes arguably the best salmon in the city. If you order salmon, each piece is cooked fresh to order, so it takes about five minutes. Kameel personally cooked mine. He was also cooking batches of chicken shawarma and falafel when I arrived, so I lucked out. Kameel asked me how I wanted my salmon cooked. "Medium well?" I told him I trusted him and he said, "I love you." The salmon was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Deliciously tender and moist with amazing flavor. It had ideal texture. Ingredients with the salmon included bell pepper, onion, tomato, capers, and a mouthwatering variety of herbs and spices. The creamy spinach was excellent (also recommended). It's made with spinach, tomato, garlic, and four cheeses. The baba ghanoush was very good too. The other platter I got - chicken shawarma, tabouli salad, and falafel was good, but not great. The restaurant uses halal chicken breast that is hormone-free. It contains onion and Turkish spices. I had tahini sauce applied on top of both my shawarma and falafel. There was nothing wrong with these items; they just weren't as good as my favorites described above. I thought the chicken could have been more tender and the falafel maybe could have used more flavor. Also, the tabouli salad was a bit too watery and tangy (personal preference). Aviva's tabouli is made with chopped parsley, cucumber, tomato, red onion, EVOO, and fresh-squeezed lemon juice. Check 'em out. read more

Found this place while heading to Smoqn BBQ in the same food hall. We parked on the street but I believe they have a parking garage. Outside a large screen was playing the World Cup. I'm not sure what else they would play up there but it was pretty cool. I went there with my family and tried the cheesy chicken soup, salmon, roasted chicken with rosemary sauce, veggies, salad, hummus, and rice. The options are to have each protein as a platter, salad or sandwich. 9/10 everything was good but the rice lacked flavor to me. For something to drink there is Lacrouix and Snapple. You can also ask for a water cup but it won't lead to a soda fountain. The water is from a water bottle fountain near the bathroom. I opted out. read more

The chicken was tender and juicy, great flavor and aroma. The falafel was moist and chewy and the flavors harmonized in my mouth. The hummus had this smoky flavor to it which made it unique and lasted in my mind (and on my buds) well after the meal was over. The pita pocket was also chewy and firm with a mild flavor itself, but absorbed the juice of the chicken perfectly. We came here for a weekday lunch and were fortunate to meet the owner's son, Nas, who couldn't have been more welcoming and generous. He gave us a healthy portion of soup to try, falafel, and baklava. I had the platter with chicken shawarma as the protein, and the two sides I chose were tabbouleh and a creamy pasta. It was all delicious, especially the falafel. As a meat lover, I was surprised that this made it to the top of my list, but it was so crispy and moist at the same time! Nas explained that their baklava is made with olive oil instead of butter and I can't imagine having it any other way now. I look forward to trying the rosemary chicken and salmon on my next visit, they looked delicious. I had never been to the CODA in Midtown before. After a long night of studying, I tried Aviva for the first time. I was immediately greeted by the head chef Kameel, who welcomed me with a smile and offered a complementary cup of delicious hot, hearty Vegetable chowder. Per his recommendation, I ordered a plate of chicken shawarma, cabbage salad with hummus, and eggplant ratatouille over rice. It totaled around $15 with tax and tip. Portions were very generous. Chef Kameel's shawarma was perfectly seasoned; the chicken was never dry or overcooked, and the caramelized onions offered a perfect compliment to the savory chicken.
