I was worried about sending my 2.5 years old to a daycare. I looked everywhere for a great place, and my friend recommended ahead academy. When I visited the place I was impressed with how clean and lovely the place is. Although my daughter was too attached to me, it only took her a couple of weeks to adjust and now she loves it. My daughter has been attending for a year and a half now. She started when she was 3 years, 2 months old. Within the last year and a half, she has learned so much! She knows how to write all her letters and will spell sentences by just telling her how to write each word letter by letter. She's doing basic math and studying subtraction this week. Miss Yanalia and her two helpers, Miss Jacky and Miss Talia are absolutely the best. They care for each individual child and the kids love them all. Communication between parents and teachers is great and the daily reports are always detailed. All the new kids seem to adjust well within two weeks which is a sign of the great daycare Yanalia runs. If and when I have more children, AAD will be at the top of my list. I would highly recommend you check it out and see if it's a good fit for your child(ren). You won't be disappointed! Forgot to add my daughter has even learned her colors and 1-10 (that I know of) among some other words in mandarin making her somewhat trilingual. We looked a lot for a daycare for my son since he was 22 month old until we found Ahead Academy Daycare, Once I stepped in I knew this is the place for my son. It is very clean and organized. Yanalia is a very caring person and my son loves her a lot. My daughter has been with Miss Yanalia and Mr. Randy at Ahead Academy Daycare since March 2021. As a first time mom i was very scared to send her to a daycare. We had a nanny until February and she was taken care very well but we decided to put her in the daycare for her to socialize with other kids. Its been two months and we can see so much difference with her. She has made friends and is used to the daycare schedule and explores a variety of cuisines. We cannot say enough good things about Ahead Academy Daycare. From the first day our daughter has been enrolled, she has loved it there and is happy to go to school. She adjusted within a week thanks to Ms Yanalia, Mr Randy and the teachers and now she even misses school during vacations! The environment is warm, caring and feels like home. The curriculum is great and includes various things which our daughter eagerly demonstrates for us at home. They provide organic food which is a big plus. My daughter started here at 22 months and loved every moment at Ms Yanalia's house for about 2 years including pandemic year which was tough time for all of us to navigate. She was quick to take to Ms Yanalia and in about 2 weeks adjusted well and in about a few months wanted to stay there as long as as possible. Even when pandemic with Ms Yanalia's help kids quickly learned to keep their masks on and adjust to new norms of social distancing. Ms Yanalia did it with patience and care making sure they understand the importance of all the steps and by setting good example for them to follow. All the adults in school took great care of kids helping them learn basic things like good manners and kindness along with laying building blocks for their future education. She misses her teachers and old playmates and remembers all fun times she had at AAD. read more

Our daughter enjoyed going to Ahead Academy Daycare. She was 16 months old when she started going to this daycare, she adjusted and settled right away, which to us meant a lot ! We truly appreciate every guidance and effort Ms. Yanalia has contributed to our son's growth and learning. He is happy and confident in expressing his needs with his teachers. My daughter used to go to kindercare and would always cry every time we dropped her off. However ever since she started going to Ahead Academy she stopped crying and also excited to go to school everyday! She comes back telling us her day and what she learned. My son currently goes to Ahead Academy and we can see he's loving every minute of it! He was very shy before attending the school and this place made a whole world of difference in boosting his confidence and ability to greet people and make new friends. The school is very new, boasts organic meals for the kids, have ample space both indoors and outdoors for the kids to play in, very good teacher to student ratio, a patient/caring director, potty trains, and do a variety of activities for the kids. We started our daughter at Ahead Academy Daycare right after the New Year and I was very nervous to leave our daughter because she had always had one-on-one attention from ourselves and her nanny. After a week and a half of being there, our daughter was so at ease, she would blow kisses to us as we dropped her off instead of crying. It was also great that Ms. Yanalia would give us updates and photos to help us see how our daughter was thriving. Initially, we had considered putting her in a Montessori environment, and while I am still a huge fan of the Montessori method, we eventually chose this daycare because my husband and I observed how calm, well-mannered and behaved the children were. For us, other children at the daycare would set examples for our daughter so we chose to go this route and are thankful everyday we stuck with our instinct. Not only are we so thankful to the staff for being so loving and caring, we are so grateful to the other kids for embracing our daughter and being sweet first friends for her! read more

Our family loves this home daycare. It's actually a preschool from 2 to 5 yrs. Our 3 years old son has been there for two months now and we can clearly see the difference. Mrs Yanalia is such a great loving teacher and our son loves her very much! Her main focus is on social skills and good manners in a very warm and loving environment, which I believe is the most important thing for kids in this age. The school is so clean with a bright classroom and a sunny and spacious backyard. It provides 2 organic, healthy and home cooked meals and two snacks, which save us a lot of effort. Our daughter has been going to Ahead Academy Daycare for the last 7 months and she enjoys every bit of it. The director, Ms. Yanalia, is really sweet and great with kids, and they all love her very much. She doesn't just run it as a day care, but more like a school. Besides basics like alphabet and numbers, language and counting, she also teaches them arts, dance, music. She has these musical note bells, that each kid would hold one or two, and together they learn how to collaborate and ring their bell when it's time to play their note to complete a song. It's not only a fun way to learn music, but also teaches the kids how to work with others at an early age. They would have no problem adapting to pre-school or kindergarten. Ms. Yanalia also hands out a daily report on your child's day at the center, how much did they did each meal, when and how much they nap, and the activities that they did. The facility itself is very neat and clean. Backyard is also very clean and large for the children to play. We recommend Ahead Academy Daycare without hesitation.
