VEEERY quiet place! Don't see any gaming and the casino cashier area is closed but the place is neat and clean and the coffee shop looks amazing.

Sia is exceptionally amazing. She has checked us in for the last 5-6 years. She has the most beautiful smile that lights up a room. She is respectful, thorough, friendly and professional. Each time we remember her because of her A1 customer service. She is always so helpful and answers all of our questions. I'll have more to say by the end of the week. We're relaxing

Stayed at Ahern hotel for a night so we weren't really able to explore it as much as we wanted to. But from the short visit we had, Ahern was clean, had friendly staff, and good food in the same vicinity! They also had great body wash, shampoo, and conditioner!

Found this place randomly on Hotels.com. Got one night Super Bowl weekend for 90 bucks. Zero resort fees. This is a hotel and convention center. There is no casino here. When I tell you that it was so quiet and didn't reek of smoke I was the happiest girl alive. No loud sounds or screaming kids to be found either. It also comes with free breakfast and it looks like it's a recently renovated spot. I've never heard of it, but I definitely recommend staying here if you want to be close enough to the ship, but still not deal with all the craziness. The area doesn't look the best however they do have around the clock security. Free parking as well! I will definitely be back and let others know about this place. It's right off the strip about two blocks from the stratosphere. $100 incidental fee

I don't usually review hotels as I'm in so many but this one is different . I've been to the strip . Stayed in many of the big name casinos . But I was solo on this trip and it was strictly business . I didn't want to walk through the casino to get to my room . Just wanted something elegant to crash at . This hotel exceeded all expectations It's beautiful inside Couple of restaurants and they have shows too. And old school because they still clean the rooms every day . But all of this for $120 for 2 nights and breakfast included !!! It's hard to believe . It's a solid choice if you are not here to gamble .

This was such a nice hotel to stay at. It was new, classy, and looked beautiful inside! Parking was easy in the attached free parking lot. Our room was spacious and furniture was comfortable. The mini refrigerator ran well and had a freezer compartment. Bathroom was beautiful with a big lit vanity mirror. The only thing we didn't like was the pink tint on the windows didn't allow any natural light color in. We ended up always drawing the curtains and turning the lights on to avoid seeing everything in pink. The shampoos, conditioners, and lotions feel luxurious. The lobby is spacious. There is an Italian restaurant on-site called Ottimo which is where you can get the included free breakfast. At check in, you receive dated breakfast vouchers that can only be used on that day. So if you miss 1 day, you cannot redeem multiple breakfast on a different day. The 4 breakfast options are a variation of $13-$18 items the restaurant serves on the menu and made to order: 1. classic egg, bacon/sausage, with potatoes and toast 2. sourdough waffle with berries and whipped cream 3. avocado toast with egg and salad, 4. oatmeal with raisins and brown sugar They offered complimentary 12pm check out. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Stayed here with the family and had a good experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful for the most part. Hotel check in is on the second floor. Parking is free. They have a few places in side of here including a coffee place, aroma, that I lived at. Good coffee and pastries, open 6am-8pm. And a restaurant, Ottimo, that had a variety of foods. There is a pizza counter with a small seating area out front and inside is a sit down restaurant. Only complaint was the pool. It's very small, it was sunny and they didn't have any umbrellas up, and the pool is not that big or deep. We got 2 rooms with 2 double beds each. Rooms came with fridge, 2 bottles of complementary water a day. They also had a karaoke place inside and there was a small art gallery inside and antique car display outside. I would definitely stay here again

Alrighty Gang, Where are all my Karaoke enthusiasts! If your your looking for a great place to hang out on a Wednesday or Friday night this is the place ! Donell DeVegaa is the the lady behind the Karaoke! She is awesome and very energetic! She greets her guest! And we had a great time! Timid is located inside Ahern and the American diner restaurant m! Best sound in Las Vegas!!! Keep it up Dj Bella

Here's some of the coffee stains that I was billed $200 because to them it's a biohazard

Beware of booking with Ahern. My friend n I stayed there for 3 nights while in Vegas. Months later I checked my account, the hotel charged my card $200 "damage fee" not once did I get a receipt for this charge or notify of my "damages" I called today to see what's happening. They said I damaged the sheets. My friend spilled coffee on the sheets and I was billed $200 claiming it's biohazard but yet they can provide me with their biohazard policy.

Came to visit during the Christmas season. Never been to this hotel before but it looked good from the review's. Booked online and grabbed a regular king room. Cute lobby- decorated for the holidays- intimate but purposeful. When checking in I asked if any upgrades were available -the lovely lady (Crystal) must have felt sorry for how sick I was and upgraded our room for us. It was a lovely gesture that meant so much since we both were sick. She even offered me different teas for my sore throat. The hotel is a little off the strip nearer to the Strat but was a great choice because it was quiet, smaller, and no casino. Monorail is literally 2 blocks away in the Sahara hotel. Because of the care and amazing service we received from Crystal and her staff- we will definitely stay here again.

Very easily a 5 star hotel. Extremely clean non smoking property. We're so pleased. Wonderful staff. Very accommodating. Delicious breakfasts. Spacious and very clean room. A few steps away from the Sahara which on 110 degree weather is quite daunting. Nevertheless the Sahara offers complimentary parking to non hotel guests. There's also the monorail station for easy access to the rest of the strip. The hotel is also conveniently located next to the Golden Steer restaurant which is a very popular steakhouse. Advance reservations are required. The hotel however offers excellent dining options as well. We tried their pizza by the slice and it was really good. Also our breakfast was super delicious. You can tell they use freshly sourced ingredients. They were very tasty.

I loved my recent visit to Vegas and stay at the Ahern Hotel. The hotel was super clean, check-in area as easy, the staff was nice. I would def stay here again! We never had trouble getting ride shares from this location and the waiting area was well lit. We also had breakfast and several dinners onsite. Food was very good and THEY SERVED COKE PRODUCTS. I felt safe in this hotel and the hallways and rooms were quiet.

I first stayed at the Ahern Hotel a few years ago for EDC because it offered a cheap rate, no-smoking in and out of their property, free parking, and clean and quiet rooms that were close to an EDC shuttle stop. While not very close to much of the "happening spots" on the Strip, it was within reach via car/ride share if needed be. During that first time stay, I didn't have any issues with my stay and actually enjoyed my stay this first time around. Speed forward to this recent Thursday night - I stayed overnight in Vegas with my coworker for a trip to Zion. Most hotels in the area were booked up due to conferences. The Ahern was one of the cheaper hotels in the area, and my room offered complimentary breakfast in the room rate. I thought, great... things are looking good! Well yes, these were good things, but we wound up getting a room with questionable cleanliness. The pillows in our rooms were extremely filthy (they were not changed), as they had long strands of hair in them. They were propped up (as hotels do), and I inspected them, there were all the hairs! The bedsheets looked clean from what I could visually see, but I'm not really sure if they did clean those either if the pillows weren't cleaned, why would the bed sheets be also? I get that in Vegas housekeeping staff have to clean a lot of rooms, and they don't get paid well. And it shows, with the questionable cleanliness of the rooms here. I was hoping for a more positive experience this time around, as I had a few years back. But given the cleanliness issues here, I probably won't be back sadly.

Small menu from the in-house Ottimo restaurant.

Is this a dog friendly property?

No. Pets are not allowed at this hotel.

How far is this from the Freemont strip if you walk? Or is it in the downtown and is the hotel in a safe area?

The Ahern Hotel is a 5 minute walk to the Sahara - which is the beginning / very Noth end of the Strip. You might want to look what the monorail has to offer.

The vibe is fun but still elevated, which made it easy to balance work and actually enjoy being in Vegas. There are so many food options you never have to leave the property. We bounced between casual spots and nicer dinners and everything was solid. Same goes for the bars, great energy, good drinks, and something for every mood. My room was on the 52nd floor of the Chelsea Tower and had the most gorgeous view of the Strip. I could see the Bellagio fountain show right from my room, which made it feel extra special. The day club and nightlife were such a bonus since we didn't have to go far to keep the night going. During the day, the pool setup is amazing and the spa and gym were actually worth using, which I do not always say about hotels. Overall it made the whole trip easy, fun, and seamless. And when I got there, yes, it was a one bedroom suite, but it was above the club. So much bass that the walls were shaking. They said they were sold out and couldn't change my room. They offered me $180 in food a beverage credit and two drinks at the chandelier bar, and suggested I come back the next morning and try to change it. That was my birthday, but I went and tried. Still no change but Yusuf gave me another $100 voucher. The room was spacious with a great shower and huge tub in the bathroom. King bed, sofa area and a decent sized balcony. It was supposed to be a strip view, but it faced the top of the Aria shopping center. If I stayed here again, I'd only do a room above the 40th floor and front facing strip view.

While we were here this time we indulged in some ice cream and really enjoyed the hand made ice cream. It really tasted handmade with bits of real strawberries in it. Last time we were here it was a special occasion and we went all out. We walked all though the strip just to get here to ride the gondola. Boy was that fun. No, it wasn't the same as the ones in Venice (I know because I've been in Venice and ridden one of their gondolas), but you know that going in. You're in Vegas so I didn't expect the same thing. I was looking forward to the Vegas version of this classic ride and I got it. Was it over priced? Yes. At the same time you get what you pay for. A fun ride around the camels in the Venetian Resort in Las Vegas. There was supposed to be an photographer taking our picture so we can buy at the end, but his camera malfunctioned so we didn't get the shot. This was a huge disappointment as I'm all about pictures and I really wanted the opportunity to see the glamorous shot the professional photographer took and if it captured the. Moment like i had I would have bought it. Fortunately we weren't totally relaying on him. We brought our own camera and took the perfect shot with the gondolier in the background and the bridge when you come out. It was perfect. You didn't have all the busyness of Vegas in the background. I'm overly thrilled with my photo, I got exactly what I paid for a fun ride and the perfect shot to frame and remember this day. And yes, I really did frame it and it sits on my piano. As long as you know what you're paying for, it's totally worth it. And now that you've seen my shot and know that it's taken at the end of the ride when you come out from under the bridge, you can get the same shot too. Have fun and enjoy Vegas and the Venetian. Maybe even walk around the quaint streets and have some ice cream after your ride.

For the Hotel/Resort: The basic rooms here are better than the majority of other strip hotels. I personally think its top 3, even a small upgrade here gets you a very spacious room. I have stayed in the regular rooms and suites at both The Venetian and The Palazzo. The venetian rooms are more updated, but the Palazzo rooms are good too. The self parking has a lot of spaces but ingress/egress is easier at The Palazzo. However the valet parking here is faster compared to other resorts. The rideshare pickup/dropoff is good too. The casino floor is bright, clean, and good gaming variety. For the slots, I like that they have both old and new machines. I like the older "top dollar" and "run for your money" machines. I also like some of the new machines like KONG . They also have a great variety of video poker, blackjack, roulette, and craps! I have yet to play at the tables here but they have a good variety. The beverage service is good, but coverage/timing could be improved. I feel like some parts of the casino floor do not get as much service. They also have a great variety of food and restaurant options for all budgets. My personal favorite here is Estiatorio Milos. A close second would be SushiSamba. However, I have never had a bad meal here. I also recommend Sugarcane, Chica, Cote, and Smith/Wollensky. I still want to try the other options here! Overall great place to stay or check out. I always leave here feeling great!

First Impressions: The hotel has one of the best scents in Vegas; if you know, you know. Whatever they're using in the vents, paired with their designated smoking areas, really keeps the air noticeably fresher than most other casino hotels. Check-In & Service: Big shoutout to Kim at the front desk for such a warm welcome. She gave us a choice between a room close to the elevator or midway down the hall, and advised going with the latter since the hotel was hosting a cheer convention (i.e., excited kids everywhere!). Her advice was spot on and her customer service was top notch. Truly a fantastic way to start our weekend. Room: Our room was gorgeous: spacious, super clean, and well maintained. We had a great pool view, loved the privacy door for the toilet, and the stone-walled shower with a bench was a nice upgrade. There was also a large soaking tub with a clear view into the bedroom, a desk, and a separate seating area with two ridiculously comfy leather chairs. Pool & Amenities: After unpacking, we went straight to the pool. The main area has two large pools separated by a walkway and cabanas, with two jacuzzis at the end near a huge outdoor screen. There's also a day club if you're looking for a party vibe, complete with its own bar, pool, cabanas, and a live DJ. We enjoyed relaxing in the sun and loved the easy access to drinks from the mid-bar or roaming servers (didn't get a chance to try the food this time, but maybe next visit!). Parking & Fees: There is plenty of parking available in the lots, which makes coming and going a breeze. A $40 or $50 daily resort fee does apply, but that's pretty typical these days and didn't feel out of the ordinary. Final Thoughts: Every detail, from the clean air to the thoughtful service and beautiful property, made this a memorable stay. M Resort is definitely a notch above most Vegas hotels. Highly recommend, and can't wait to come back!

It was relatively quick for us to get checked in and receive our keys. This dark and dramatic theme is carried throughout the hotel and to the guest room areas too. We were put in Rm 30-24, which we converted into an adjoining room with Suite 30-22. Our room felt small to me. The bed takes up the majority of the room with little walking space. There were crumbs on the seat and the pillows were incredibly old and limp. I was hesitant to sit on it! The closet felt disproportionately large for the room. I would have preferred a smaller closet to have more space in the room itself. The rooms and hallways are all so dark. There is no overhead lighting, only tiny lamps throughout the room. I am personally not a fan of this as it made the room feel even smaller and claustrophobic. I understand they are trying to make it feel ambient and moody, but the way it was presented felt more like sleeping in a cave. Inside the closet was the brightest area of the hotel! If you choose to have a conjoined room, it is impractical to keep the doors open. When the adjoining doors are open, it is impossible to use the doors facing the hallway. Everything was cramped and the doors were constantly banging against each other. The bathroom was nice with a spacious shower. The water pressure was slightly better than average, but not super strong. They provided the usual amenities: shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, shower gel, cotton swabs + cotton pads, makeup remover wipes, and a shower cap. I must say, the shampoo and conditioner were spectacular. My hair felt super soft and had no frizz when it dried. It smelled very nice too. The rest of the hotel was just okay. There is not much to do besides lay at the pool and gamble. It is pretty quiet and laid-back. That being said, the casino was pretty small. I did like that it was non-smoking though so it was not suffocating to walk through it. I enjoyed the pool area. Despite it being a hot summer day, there was plenty of seating and lounge chairs available. The music the DJ was playing was really good and the pool was super chilly. This is definitely not my first choice for a Vegas hotel but I could stay here again.

The Strip

The most unassuming quaint hotel I've ever witnessed…read more It's easy to think that going to Vegas means you have to stay on The Strip--ease of transportation, proximity to the shows, and the ambiance of "the Las Vegas" experience. However, for those of us who come to Vegas often, staying at those hotels often means higher prices and headaches with navigating around the busy traffic. Having stayed at most of the larger hotels (The Luxor, The Bellagio, Encore at Wynn, Park MGM etc) I've had my fill of the dazzling lights and boisterous crowds. I do recommend you try these hotels at least a few times to truly soak in the bustle of Las Vegas night life. For me, I prefer to stay adjacent to, but not within, The Strip. This way, I can have some comfort in a quieter setting and can call an uber at any moment to meet friends along The Strip. This was the reason I chose Nirvana Hotel. Situated right next to The Luxor and The Mandalay Bay, it is both affordable and close to the attractions I come to Vegas for. The exterior is a bit off-putting at first. You aren't greeted with the pristine fountained welcome that you expect from Vegas--the wonderful precession of marble floors, the lush green plants, the ornate chandeliers. The main check-in station is inside the souvenir shop which resembles that of a run down gas station. Service is quick and the check-in process is painless. Their doors all use numbers so you don't have to worry about misplacing your card. Just don't get so drunk you forget! The room itself is very humble: queen bed, LG tv, two night stands, a small fridge, and a walk-in shower. Clean, organized, and arranged professionally. I will definitely stay here again. Connie was at the reception and welcomed me warmly. Parking is free. That's right. FREE. For your entire duration of stay.

This will look like to most a motel with a drive up to your room and an upstairs set of rooms. No pool . You are with in walking distance of the Four Seasons The Luxor and Mandalay Bay etc This is on Las Vegas South You can buy breakfast on site. Free coffee up in the front office with package cookies They have a mini fridge in the room. I was gone early in the morning and was back late The minus was street noise from construction and I was there on trash day so the trash truck backing up at 5:50 Am was an early morning wake up call ( I needed to be up at that time anyways) No house keeping while for my two day stay I would be happy to stay here again
