I asked the receptionist if I missed seeing the doctor because of his inability to process my blue cross insurance, and he said yes. I was in utter disbelief. Their website does not reflect that the doctor goes on lunch for over an hour, there are no signs in the office reflecting this, and he didn't tell me this up front, so I waited for 15 minutes for no reason. I took off work for this, and was unable to wait until 1pm to be seen. Unreal. This gap in service needs to be advertised, as this is something that a patient can plan around. It is absurd that I was told to wait for over an hour when I could have been informed of this gap in service for the doctor's lunch before I left work and planned accordingly. I went to the Mission Valley location instead as recommended by the receptionist, since "they have two doctors instead of just one." Mission Valley figured out my insurance card in literally 5 seconds as all doctor's offices have. I won't return to this Hillcrest location, but if you choose to go there, don't go between 11:45am and 1pm!!

I got that helpful call; updating me that the radiologist appeared running behind and she would see what's happening. She made a call and it came back with a welcome "No pneumonia." She called me with that news. I couldn't have been more pleased with Dr. Saidani and this Scripps HeathExpress Hillcrest encounter. Easy peasy when I wasn't feeling good.

These are recommendations which have been recently suggested, phone-based calls on Molina Healthcare public phone number, several transfers, suggested phone numbers, ALL for nothing! Due to this year's change in insurance. I've had to suffer the ineptitude of Molina...particularey any mental health protocol. Shocking! and potentially harmful. 100% incompetent/ negligent. I was transferred at least 8 times, plus "call-back" numbers...simply trying to obtain a 10-15 minute appt with a genuine MD, specializing in Psychiatry. ALL I require is the continuation of existing meds prescribed by my last Dr. What's so hard about that? I spent from 11:30am to 4pm exhaustively TRYING to connect to a legit psychiatrist's office to make a simple appt!!! What the hell is wrong with you people?!? i USED TO TRUST YOU. 4 1/2 hrs is LONG ENOUGH!!! My first visit to this location at the AFC Urgent Care Center was a bad experience for me…read more When I walked into the front to this facility. I asked to have a Complete Blood Count Test Taken so I can check on my blood clot that has developed in my right leg do I can find out if my Blood Clot has progressed and has increased and has gotten worse. This Nurse Practitioner was working at the front desk. She was very MEAN and not understanding to my very serious medical condition. The NP told me that she refuses to allow me to take a blood test at their AFC Urgent Care Center. I was mistreated by her with her bad attitude towards me. I told her my medical insurance company sent me over to her Urgent Care facility. Then she said that since I have not checked into their facility that I am not considered their patient. I said the reason I am not checked in is because I just arrived there by an Uber Driver and I was not told by their receptionist to sign my full name and to write down the date I arrived at their facility and I n ended to write down the time I arrived at their urgent care office. Again , this Nurse Practitioner said NO she won't accept my business. The NP forced me to call 911 and to request an Ambulance transport me to Sharp Memorial Hospital Emergency Department. I told that NP that I will never come to their facility again .

Parking was also easy with an hour validated parking in their garage. They also had a few patient dedicated spots. The nurse and PA that I saw were nice and listened to my symptoms and concerns. They were professional and provided good care. I would definitely return to this location if I needed same day care again.

Walking in, I showed my prepaid label to the attendant and asked whether it was better to check in on a tablet or with her directly. The attendant responded dismissively, asking what I was doing there 5 minutes before my appointment, which made me feel undervalued as a customer. My experience was marred by her dismissive attitude, which made me feel unwelcome despite having prepaid for my bloodwork. I proceeded with a corporation report, and today, April 22, I received a call from Labcorp apologizing, explaining, and presenting her side of the facts: she was "surprised" because I showed up 5 minutes earlier, given that the area around is full of homeless people. I appreciated the acknowledgment and the effort to clarify the situation. Then Labcorp, through their employee, assumed I was a homeless person, even presenting the pre-paid label of my appointment. Please note that that doesn't mean you will be seen at that time. If you did the online paperwork it will still take a hot second for them to go through and verify everything so if you do make an appointment because you're short on time I recommend going 15 minutes early. Loved how clean the place was! Please note I went early on a Friday and the wait was minimal so I can't comment during busy hours but they still handled my visit quickly. They have a small parking lot in the back. All in all fast and efficient with great customer service.
