Owner acts like you have two brain cells but food hits. Could be nicer to paying customer who leave a tip regardless.

Of the whole order, the dressing on their salad is what impressed me. I know...weird. Right?

Service was good, attentive, didn't make us feel rushed. However, what are we doing with the pricing? One overly crispy potato latke (like only hard extremely crunchy potato in the entire ONE latke) that cost $16 lol ... I have to laugh. You must be kidding me. It was probably 1/4 of a potato with a nice yogurt like topping and some fermented turmeric diced cauliflower. But that ONE, SMALL, latke $16??? Pretty awful. Do better. I'm so sad this is what's happening with this restaurant... please, at least give your customers a reasonably fair serving size if you're going to charge such exorbitant amounts. A new dish, a red pepper flatbread with burrata and tomato and basil. Very good. Again, extremely over priced. The size of one medium piece of naan bread with nice toppings and it cost $24. I beg to differ. These are all snacks and some are snacks for mouse sized humans, so tiny (referring to latke) I truly don't understand. I will reiterate, food quality is good and food always seems fresh. That's about all I can continue to confirm/say positive from my last two experiences over the last 3-5 months. I am sad.

The actual temperature was 90°F and the feels like was hotter than that... The split AC unit inside the restaurant could barely keep up.Kudos to the staff for working in these UNBEARABLE condition - especially folks in the kitchen! I got the Northender (gin, mint simple syrup) and a margarita sans salt. Both were pricy ($13) given the small size but refreshing nevertheless. The hummus was small and bread tasty but served cold. I would not recommend the fattouch as it was a small mixed greens and red onion with toasted pita ($9) not worth it by any stretch of the imagination. The kofta and teensy tiny "salad" also not a value. Very tasty but not worth it. I will say the bartender was ON IT and attentive without being 'too much' - deserves h We ordered the deal for 2 people at $32 which includes two proteins and the fixings. We also ordered a fattouche salad as well as a chopped salad that comes with kofta. Overall a solid B for quality ingredients, but not at all authentic (not halal by the way). It scratched an itch but missed the mark on both authenticity/small portion size for price ratio. Nice folks and local vibe.

Nestled in the…read moreeveryday hum of the city, this spot slings food with a level of care and soul that punches way above its weight class. The loaded fries? A decadent, gluttonous, unapologetic mess of everything good in this world. Crispy, golden spuds acting as a stage for a heaping, chaotic mound of tender, spiced gyro meat, drizzled in a symphony of sauces--tangy, creamy, and just the right amount of heat to remind you you're alive. This isn't just bar food or late-night munchies. It's a masterclass in controlled indulgence. Each bite, a reminder that sometimes, the best meals aren't plated with tweezers but piled high with reckless abandon. You eat with your hands, sauce dripping down your wrist, and you don't care--because in this moment, nothing else matters. Gyro Hub doesn't need to be fancy. It just needs to be exactly what it is: damn good.

Flavorful, tender, and not at all dry like gyro meat can sometimes be. The samosas were also very flavorful and just a bit spicy. Was surprised by the decor, in a good way. From the outside, it's a bland store front in a mostly dead strip mall, but inside was bright and welcoming with enough tables for a family or small group. A delightful addition to the Plattsburgh restaurant scene!
