    two glasses of beer

This was one of our first stops when we arrived in Green Bay from Milwaukee. Green Bay was not at all what I expected. This was a great little brewery with very friendly and informative staff. It was a quiet weekday so the place was empty. We enjoyed chatting with the beer tender and getting her recommendations about what we could do while we were there. She was very helpful! They had a good variety of beer choices and the beer was all cold and delicious! We would both definitely recommend this place. We had planned to be back in March, but our plans fell through. Honestly, neither of us likes the cold so, green Bay in the summer is much more out thing lol.

Love this place! Suamico (and GB in general) needs a place like this! The place is amazing! Industrial, nice ambience, with lots of garage doors I'm thinking they may open when it's warmer out! The staff is SUPER friendly! The beers are tasty! Quite a bit of variety for all beer drinkers. PLUS they have a gluten free beer on tap as well! They have some good snackies to choose from. Plus, they've partnered with a bunch of local restaurants that will deliver food! Im thinking with COVID they don't have board games or things like that. I think next time we go here (and there will for sure be a next time), we might be a board game or cards! It's a perfect spot for it! Highly recommend!

Cute place just off Lineville. Unique options and some traditional so there is probably something for everyone here. Interior is clean and has an industrial feel. No food offered by the brewery but you can order from the place next door and have it delivered.

    Watermelon beer!

Stopped in for dinner at the food truck and to sip on some beer on the outdoor patio. I was only inside briefly to order my beer and it appears to be an nice open industrial style space. The staff was friendly and we were able to get our beer quickly before sitting on the patio area waiting for our food. I had a watermelon flavored beer thst was light and crisp. It was something I needed to sip slowly as it was tart. I would love to come back with friends and hang out on the patio.

Flight in taproom. Clean place. Kinda generic.

The star is for the ambiance. The service was fine. Unfortunately the food was lackluster at best…read more We started w/ the Bavarian pretzel which was served w/o any salt, a clumpy, bland cheese sauce, and an ipa mustard sauce. It was taken home to add proper salt & enjoy w/ a good beer cheese. The cheese curds, the only saving grace of the entire meal. They also upon arrival offer a trio of pickles. We ordered 2 hamburgers. Had wanted a cheese burger w/ American but it's not an option. Asked for the plain hamburger to be served w/pink. It was well done and flavorless, not even S&P. The other burger was their black&bleu. We thought it strange that it was served w/ bleu cheese crumbles in addition to blue cheese dressing. We asked for the dressing on the side. 1) which was good because it would've drowned the small patties 2) Perhaps they add the dressing because they add so few crumbles of the actual bleu cheese. The double patties you get are enough to "separate" to actually cover the bun vs having a large part of the bun plain. The buns are too thin to even support a single patty, breaking apart when you take the first bite. The beer battered fries that come w/ the burger are a good size portion but were also flavorless. And when speaking w/ the manger we were informed they were supposed to even have a little kick to them; not the case. It was a tad off putting hearing the conversation(s) the bartender was having at the bar. A bit too loud for what was being discussed and with the language being used. Fine, I guess for a Friday/Saturday night or a bar away from the dinning area. But on a Sunday, for lunch, maybe not so many cuss words. This hasn't been our first time here but it will be our last. Staff is pleasant enough and obviously there were guests that quite enjoy it. There are just other places in De Pere w/ great burgers, consistent quality, and equivalent price points.

I Came Back to Appleton... Wisconsin Immediately Fed Me…read more There are many ways to kick off an HS Reunion weekend. Apparently, the correct Wisconsin way is cheese curds, a soft pretzel, beer cheese, mustard, and craft beer. One of my host~family sisters and longtime friends brought me to Stone Arch Brewpub shortly after I touched down in Appleton, and this was exactly the kind of welcome~back I needed. Let's talk about those cheese curds. Pillowy. Soft. Tender. Ridiculously good. I don't say this lightly, but these may be some of the best cheese curds I've ever eaten. Then came the pretzel~super buttery and incredibly soft~with Wisconsin beer cheese and mustard for dipping. At that point, the reunion could have ended and I would've considered the trip successful. But we weren't done. We worked our way through an assortment of craft beers spanning Hazy IPAs, West Coast IPAs, Sours and Gose~style beers. The atmosphere was cool, the service was great, and the combination of food, beer and catching up with an old friend made this feel like the perfect beginning to my return to Appleton. Sometimes the best travel experiences aren't about finding the newest or trendiest place. Sometimes it's about sitting down with someone who knows you, sharing some great food and beer, and realizing some things really do feel like coming home. Stone Arch was a damn good way to start the reunion. Would absolutely return.
