Outdoor patio with seating and 3 fire pits.

I've been dying for a place like this in the area! Ambiance. Great space. Old fire station turned brewery. They've kept some of the fire station charm with using things from the old station while also having nice new touches - beautiful wooden bar, couches, lots of [comfortable] seating, games. The outside seating/patio is stunning. They have huge, gorgeous wooden benches surrounding several large gas fire pits. And some brand new garage doors that open up when the weather is nice creating a great open space. Beer. This is still a very new space, so they are working on getting their own beer on tap. But in the mean time? Enjoy some beer or hard seltzer from other local breweries in the area. Food. Again, super new space and they aren't officially open so I'm not sure if they will offer any snacks or allow carry-ins in the food space. HIGHLY recommend this space. The space is gorgeous. The staff and owners are so welcoming.

Been here a number of times and each time has been fun and inviting. Finally I was able to try their own brew, a Hazy IPA that I would highly recommend. Pretzels are great, Milwaukee Pretzel Co products. Hard to gauge traffic these days so there was only one bartender, but it was Father's day and it was a nice flow of customers. Service was good considering the bartender was by herself. Stop in and give it a try!

    Very funny.

A scant 56 miles south of Michigan, you can't get much more north of here…read more Having been the only person who signed up for a tour of Paradise North on a Thursday night, I had owner and distiller Tom Feld all to myself. The distillery is his retirement passion project after beginning grown up life as an environmental scientist prior to transitioning to accounting and finance. I learned about his love of Barbados rum, his Portuguese alembic still, and how he's experimenting with rum using a solera aging process. Limited by only his imagination, Tom has several small batch test runs available in the tasting room, under the Boiler Room Series label. Tom has honored his childhood in his spirits, sourcing local grain from the same farmer his father used on their farm. A forager at heart, he uses spruce tips, prickly ash berries, and birch bark in his gin and sources Puerto Rican cocoa bean husks for his chocolate vodka. While I came for the rum and whiskey, I stayed for the Cherry Bounce. Cherry Bounce is pretty common in Wisconsin, usually made at home in a Mason jar with those famous Door County cherries, a neutral spirit, and sugar. Tom puts his own spin on this tradition by aging it in his bourbon barrels. While currently available in the tasting room, this is unfortunately a seasonal spirit that won't be for sale again until later this summer. Looks like there will be a return trip in my future!

Merely okay food and drinks, mainly because nothing was spectacular. I visited Green Bay because of…read morea work trip and ended up coming here with many colleagues. We ordered quite a few appetizers to share including cheese curds, chicken wings, and bruschetta (all not pictured) and they tasted conventionally good like one would expect our of a bar or an American diner. The blueberry mojito didn't taste like mojito at all mainly because it was missing fresh mint leaves, lime juice, and probably club soda. The only thing I could taste was white rum with a hint of blueberry flavor. The alcohol taste wasn't strong, which I was more than okay with personally, but judging by the standards of a mojito, it wouldn't qualify as a mojito in my opinion. The salmon itself was pretty good because of the sauce, which provided majority of the flavor on top of salt and pepper. There were some vegetable bits included, such as broccolini, carrots, and what seemed like Palestinian couscous. I liked the dish overall, even though I would have enjoyed it more if there were more pieces of vegetables included. There were no performances when we were there, but I saw a jukebox inside the store, which was pretty cool. Most of the songs included were country in terms of genre, which wasn't my cup of tea, but the retro vibe of the machine being there definitely put a smile on my face.

First time here and not bad. Drink was strong, which I liked. Atmosphere was nice - would like to…read morego back when they have live music. This place has a Bed & Breakfast vibe. Breakfast was good, they'll make an omelette for you, but the breakfast hours are only 7-9am. It's weird they don't have someone working 24/7 like usual hotels. There's also no ice machine. You have to go to the bar and ask. The bar is nice. Lots of regulars so it's been busy. The place is right on the water and within walking distance to some restaurants and shopping. It's also smack dab in the middle of the farmer's market. It's a little 'old' but the vibes and character are cool. The stained glass windows in the restaurant are awesome. Restaurant was just OK. Both of our meals (my husband and I) were fine. We don't plan to eat there again. Thanks for a nice stay from us Nebraskans!

The rooms are not real big; but plenty of room for one to two people. There is a whirlpool tub, a large, walk-in shower, a couple of nightstands, and a desk. There is only one chair in the room, and no refrigerator. Ice is available from the bartender. Breakfast is included with your stay, and there is an omelette station and assorted breads and cereal. I ate in the restaurant one evening, sitting at the bar. The bartender was very busy, but service was good and the food was excellent. I had a burger with fries and everything was very tasty, fresh, and hot. The bar and restaurant seemed to attract a local crowd as well as the patrons of the hotel. I definitely recommend both a hotel and the restaurant. The hotel was very reasonably priced and worked great for what I needed.
