I came here for 6-7 years constantly; I even moved to Florida for a couple years for my mom's job and I visited VA during my breaks just to attend J Art and work on my art. If it matters to the parents reading, J Art also helped me apply to (and win) lots of art competitions that I otherwise would not have known about. I also think the strictness level varies for each student, as every teacher I worked with were talented and kind in their own unique ways. I'll keep my review short but I can say that I'm truly grateful for everything I've learned from here and that I miss it very much! Easily the easiest 5 stars I can give to any establishment. Comparing this club from the other club in FFX he attended the day before, this club is more welcoming and all coaches are approachable including Head Coach Witold. Even the adult members introduced themselves to my teenage son. Our son felt instantly that this is the fencing club for him. After Saber class, Coach Peter determined that our son should skip the introductory class and proceed to the beginners class. So the next day we asked the assistance of Ms. Ayesha and she gracefully changed his membership from introductory to beginners. She was also very encouraging to us. Over 5 years later with that baby in kindergarten, I can say with confidence that Everbrook is all that and more. Angela, the principal, is one of best early childhood educators out there. She's put together an amazing team, and they support both you and your child (ren) through every stage. I have consulted Angie and her staff on how best to help my kiddo through everything from potty training and sleep regressions to reward systems. My kiddo (and the entire Junior Kindergarten class) graduated into Kindergarten not only with all the skills they needed to succeed in Kindergarten, but also understanding phonics and able to read simple books! Now part of LCPS, we are thrilled to continue at Everbrook as part of the School Age offerings and summer camp. I cannot reccomend Angela, her team, and Everbrook strongly enough.

Master Ben, Tyler, and Vivian are exceptional people who are always ready to assist, help, and support with any questions or concerns. We have been with them for three years and plan to continue for many more. I didn't leave a review immediately because trust takes time to build, and over the years they have absolutely earned ours. Thank you for everything you do. The instructors are exceptional: patient, professional, caring, and incredibly skilled at working with children of all ages. You can genuinely see how much they care about each student's growth, both inside and outside the classroom. The environment is positive, structured, and motivating. The programs are also extremely convenient for busy families, especially the after-school program and summer camps. Everything is very organized, and communication with parents has always been excellent. One of the things we appreciate most is how much confidence and focus children gain here. The emphasis on respect, self-discipline, and perseverance truly makes a difference. In our case, we got one last spot for our 2 month old daughter (then) and she started the school the following week. I remember first walking into the school and taking the tour appreciating its beautiful building, playground and classes. During our tour, an older kid walked into the office and gave a hug to one of the directors. It was such a great sign. Not only that kid loved the school, teachers but also directors in the front office. Since 2017, Goddard school in Herndon has been a part of our life. My older one graduated from Goddard school in 2022. She always had amazing teachers around her who not only cared for her but also loved her. Even today when we go to pick up our younger daughter, our older daughter still hugs those teachers (many of them are still here which is so unique for the school). I should mention my daughter had Ms. Padmini as a teacher who is a Computer Engineer turned to educator. One morning, when I was dropping my daughter off, I heard Ms. Padmini teaching signs using alpha, beta, delta. Now, Ms. Padmini designs the curriculum for the entire school. The kids are in great hands with her. They are truly getting STEAM focused education. Ms. Marilynn has been a caring, energetic and wonderful administrator. Last winter, one evening my car just would not start because of battery issues. Ms. Marilynn stayed with us until my husband arrived to make sure we were okay. I don't know a whole lot of people who would do this but having her in this school has given me comfort that my daughters are in a caring place. Ms. Abha has been excellent owner of this school. As a former preschool teacher herself, she brings a wealth of experience. She has brought very practical changes/enhancements to the school. It is no wonder that school gets voted to be the one of the best schools in this area. I would highly recommend this school. Thanks to the amazing education at this school, my kids turned social, friendly, and confident. They look forward to going to their respective schools and are progressing by leaps and bounds. This administration team has also demonstrated they apply a high standard to their teachers in hiring, as I observe new trial-period classroom aides either growing into a permanent position or being asked to depart ways because the person was not the right fit. The result is a team of incredible teachers! When my daughter had a difficult time transitioning to her new 2 year old classroom, it felt as if every teacher in the building was aware and working to help her through the emotional journey - teachers from other classrooms stopping me in the hallway to ask how she's been doing. For me, it is a difficult decision to not be the primary caretaker for my daughter. The Goddard School of Herndon team understands that and seems to me that they operate knowing they are taking care of the most important thing to me - my kid.
