I got married in Sept this year and Aili Ice Designs was my wedding florist. I did my initial consultation with Aili over a Zoom call. I sent Aili some photos of flower arrangements that I liked, answered some questions about flowers and colors that I preferred. From then on, I didn't have much communication with Aili Ice Designs until the week or two before the wedding to settle the final bills. There was a staff member I talked to named Becky, who was very helpful in answering questions about the quote, order status and payments. On the day of my wedding Aili personally showed up to the venue to deliver the flowers. They turned out absolutely beautiful! I ordered bouquets, corsages, boutonnières, table centerpieces and cake flowers (my bridesmaid arranged them on the cake). Aili also provided some loose pedals for the flower girl free of charge. I did have to pay extra for a toss bouquet. The flower arrangements were clearly of high quality and uniquely designed. My bridal bouquet was gorgeous, very full - I could not have been happier with the results. I have never been to her store, but after seeing her wedding flowers, I would consider purchasing her arrangements for other occasions in the future. I hired Aili Ice Designs to do my wedding florals. I was familiar with their work through family and was very fortunate to be able to book them so close to my wedding date. I am grateful that they were able to work with my timeline and budget. I gave little direction because I trusted them to make beautiful works of art, and I wanted to be surprised. What I have noticed from their work are the fun little details they incorporate into arrangements, like pops of yellow or gorgeous green leaves lining the vase. As you can see from the pictures below, the work is stunning. I was beyond thrilled with the results. Becky incorporated gardenia flowers specifically to evoke a scent memory for me. She also included the thistle, which is a meaningful flower in my family and added visual and textural pop. All the floral designs added such a gorgeous dimension to our celebration. We got married in a garden, so to have these flowers stand out the way they did is saying something. Becky and Aili chose colors that truly popped against the greenery at our venue. I have seen work from Aili Ice Designs before, and what stands out are the small pops of detail and the color story told through the blooms and arrangements. I got married on April 9th, and let me just say... the flowers were BEAUTIFUL. I had multiple people tell me that my bouquet was the most beautiful one they'd ever seen. They also supplied flowers for our arch, and they did an amazing job of setting them up. At one point in the morning, we realized that we were short one boutonniere, but they made up a new one for us in a jiffy and drove back to our venue to deliver it to us. I was searching for an affordable florist to make a small bouquet for an anniversary photoshoot with my husband. Every other florist I contacted quoted me $80-$200 which was way more than I wanted to spend, especially since what I wanted was relatively small and simple. Aili quoted me at a MUCH more reasonable price for what I was looking for, and sent me photos of similar bouquets she had previously done. I knew Aili would be able to create the bouquet I wanted. Everyone I spoke to via Yelp, email, and in person at the shop was incredibly friendly and personable, and very focused on pleasing the customer. I asked if it was possible to use specific flowers in specific colors and Aili delivered within my budget; she made an incredibly beautiful bouquet that completely matched my vision for what I wanted! Not only was it gorgeous, but the quality of the flowers were unmatched. I picked up the bouquet on Saturday and the photoshoot was on Sunday, we even left it out of water for some time during the photoshoot and put them in a vase once we got home, but even after everything the flowers still held up for nearly two weeks! That impressed me the most. We added a little bit of greenery and a couple flowers from Whole Foods we had leftover from another floral project we had been working on and those flowers died a lot sooner than the ones from Aili, despite being purchased the same day, so the quality at their shop is truly incredible, really fresh and you will absolutely get your money's worth. Friendly service, fair prices, and long lasting flowers will ALWAYS get five stars in my book and I will continue to bring my business here for any future floral needs I have. read more

I went here for the first time yesterday and had the most wonderful experience. Usually when I go to a floral shop, they ask me to choose what flowers I want, and since I'm not a florist or floral designer, I don't trust my sense of what flowers go well together and what will look good. I'll ask them for help, and they'll just force me to choose the flowers, or get annoyed that I'm not telling them what arrangement to create. My experience here was the exact opposite. I was in a rush so called as I was driving there to make sure they were open. Haley answered the phone, and asked me what the occasion was. When I told her, and mentioned that I didn't feel comfortable choosing all the flowers, she shared what colors they had, and offered to put together an arrangement within my budget and have it ready when I arrived. I showed up about 10 minutes later, and not only was the arrangement complete but it was truly stunning. I mean, it took my breath away. I've never gotten an arrangement this nice, and this was for a very affordable budget. The person I gave the flowers to, and everyone else who was around, were taken aback and kept repeating how gorgeous they were. Thank you, Haley! I'm thrilled to recommend this florist. read more

Besides everyone being super nice. I hated this. I spent $103 on calaliles. I wanted black and white. I got 5 black. One broken. No white. Other flowers that were dead. Roses folding over and crumpling. Green balls of fluff. I get if you have too many orders for Mother's Day. But if that's the case. Don't tell a client you'll do it and then give them a jumble of flowers. I can believe they pick the best quality because only the calaliles looked undead. There was nothing unique about this. It looked like a bush with two bright red dead roses with strings popping out the top. I ended up going and buying another $70 worth of flowers to fix it. read more

I would highly recommend Aili Ice Designs. I'd never used this florist before, and I walked in off the street (I just happened to be in downtown Redwood City). I needed floral arrangements for a kids' party at a kids' play space--a floral design challenge, to say the least. I was in a hurry and took a chance: told them that I could spend $x on 4 arrangements that needed to be low and wide, and that the play space had an underwater theme. When I arrived at the party site 8 days later, the arrangements had been delivered as promised; they were *stunning* (beautiful blues and greens); *and* had "elements" (shells, gold pirate necklaces, etc.) that were perfect for the event (sophisticated flowers with a sense of humor). I will go back to Aili Ice Designs for other floral needs...and highly recommend them to my friends. read more
