We've been using Granara's for a few years now and they do a wonderful job. The flowers are consistently fresh and beautiful, and the arrangements are really impressive. I think that another thing to call out is how they handle things if something goes wrong. Recently, there was a delivery date mixup and an arrangement was delivered a day early. I called Granara's and the manager drove over himself to pick them up before my wife saw them. They delivered an even nicer arrangement the next day. I contrast this with a florist we used to deliver flowers to relatives out of state. The flowers never arrived, and the shop owner fought it, didn't help at all, and I finally had to get a credit card refund. Today I had a large, mixed arrangement delivered. Ordering something other than roses really highlights how impressive a job Granara's does. The mix of orchids and other flowers really pops - totally worth the money! First of all most nurseries aren't open on Mondays and I needed to have something delivered today for reasons I don't need to get into here. So after searching for a while I finally came across Granara's which is open on Mondays. So I called and asked for a same-day delivery which I know is not the norm. We used this flower shop to send a flower bouquet to a friend who just had surgery. They sent out two exactly the same bouquets with same notes to the same person. When our friend asked if we meant to send two of the same we checked the receipt and in fact accidentally there was two orders. The flower shop must have seen this and knew that this is a mistake and still did not contact us to confirm this order. We got charged $150 for the two bouquets! From the first moment I spoke with the owner, Tim, I knew I was in good hands. I explained the situation and he helped me plan the "look". I ordered an arrangement that was supposed to be full of white and blush roses. Not only were there no white roses, but there were only 3 blush roses and all had yellowing wilted petals. The arrangement looked absolutely nothing like the photo. The photo looked like the large vase was smaller compared to the fullness of the arrangement, but the arrangement that came was short, sparse, and sticking just barely atop the vase. The Daddy Daughter dance! Yay! I put on a brand new shirt and get home early from work, and realize that the Girls do not have a corsage. Really they aren't needed, but sometimes I'm Stud Daddy and I get things like this done. Except it's 4:15 on a Friday and I'm screwed. Except for Yelp. I look up florists who are open and see Granara's is only 12 minutes away. I call them and a lady answers. I'm to the point, "I have two girls that I'm taking to the Daddy Daughter dance and I wanted to get them corsag--" "How old are they?" "Eight and six." Some talking in the background. "What color are their dresses?" -silence- "Two white corsages then. You'll have to be here pretty quick because we close in a half hour." "I'll be there." 13 minutes and 12 seconds later I'm there. I forgot her name but she said, "You're here for the corsages?" "Yep." "Just a minute, he'll be out. Can you pay now?" "Sure" While waiting I saw a letter on the wall saying "Gift Certificate for $10" dated 1986 and a note saying it was honored in August, 2016. The point was clear, they've been doing good business like this for a while. So I grab the two lovely corsages, pay the reasonable price, and go to the dance where I was promptly ignored for their friends, but at least they were wearing flowers as they played. read more

While the photos of their work are pretty impressive (I own a floral design studio myself), the delivered arrangement was nothing like the photo (ordered an anthirium and birds of paradise and received dendrobium orchids with lilies...two flowers that don't do any justice to the ordered ones). For that reason alone they lose a high rating. Additionally, I emailed three times to follow up on my order and they never got back to me...days later still waiting. I ordered flowers to be delivered to my wife's office on Valentine's day. I was very excited for her to experience a nice surprise, having had good results with Granara's several years ago. First they overcharged my credit card by $22. Then I called mid-afternoon and they were unable to track down the delivery. The flowers were never delivered. Robin offered to reverse the charge to my credit card and deliver some flowers to our home next week at no charge. Glad to have them, but it ain't the same. I expected much more. Robin, you should seriously consider computerizing. The two other companies I dealt with this week in Washington and Oregon state had my information from a previous order, including the addresses of the people I was shipping to, on file.
