Parking is a chore and walking into the complex is downright dangerous with toddlers and cars flying. The entrance needs to have a car-free zone to improve safety. Seating for parents is manageable but uncomfortable. Restrooms are clean.

Used to be open gym every Friday every week. When coming here, there are cubbies to place your items. Bring less and leave everything else at home. There's a sitting area for those who aren't jumping or tumbling too. Very minimal parking but a whole lot of street parking near Texaco gas/car wash. One thing that I'd highly recommend is just the sanitization or upkeep of the equipment. They don't have any wipes or sprays to provide and I'm not sure if they clean them at the end of the night. -./")\.-

The price for her class is around $70 per month. I've switched instructors three times. We've had; Ally, Nate & Sam - with an occasional cover from Taylor, Each well rounded & good with children. The process to start is simple. They offer a $5 trial class and your child can continue or not. They spend the first 10-15min running laps and stretching -- the rest of the class is a mix of conditioning, trampoline and an obstacle course. The order is always different. Before my daughter got acclimated to this environment, I'll admit I was a helicopter parent. None of the instructors were bothered by it and always made small talk with me. Eventually my baby grew and didn't need me to hold her hand anymore. We are so thankful for Hawaii Academy. We'll be trying out for cheer next month. My daughter has been going to private lessons with Coach Lawrence and Coach Kiana. She has been able to improve on her skills for her back handspring. They are very patient and willing to work with her at a progressive pace. They also help with her mental block, confidence and encourage her before, during and after practice. Every class is different, imaginative, and fun for my boys. Even the grandparents look forward to taking my boys to gymboree! We've done the walkers and runners class, primarily. I know they have infant classes and even preschool readiness classes. They do fun skits and themes, like camping, or during the Olympics fake Olympic games. They learn skills like strength and coordination, but also, how to share, take turns, and clean up. Some of my favorite times there were when they throw special events, like a summer water play day or a Halloween party. So fun! I highly suggest anyone with littles to enroll at Gymboree. These two factors alone is what my son was able to achieve. Located in a quiet pearl city community behind their community center, you'll find leahi swim. A very clean pool deck area and pool. The staff here is always welcoming and are known as Aunties and Uncle's to the kids. The kids here can start off below 3 years old but if they are they must attend the class with the parent. 3+ may attend classes that fits their swim level and skills. When I enrolled my son he was at the level of not being able to put his head under water on his own and he absolutely hated splashes. He just could never get his face wet! So he started beginner I. After a little over a year and about 6 seasons, he's now able to go underwear ingredients voluntarily and swim across the pool! Can never forget his "Pizzas, Tummy, Slice", "Ice Creams", and Foggy Legs techniques plus more. He got to the level we wanted him to finally reach and I can't thank the staff here enough with helping brayden get to the level he is at now (Advanced Beginner II). With all the familiar faces, they still greet Brayden even when he's not in his classes. You'll even see co owner Ben jump into the water and teach a class or two when there's not enough instructors for the day. At the end of each season on the last day it's also "Medal Day!" When kiddos complete their season, they get a medal! Including the babies. A tip for this school, it may be very hard to get enrolled for your first class and may be on a wait list. However once you're enrolled, you get early registration before public for each season going forward. They have an online system with their high volumes of enrollment as well that you'll learn as you do and they provide a flyer every season as well to follow along.

I've just about tried it all! What brought me in to try the day pass at GyFitness was (1) the dozens of machine options compared to smaller gyms (2) locally owned small business (3) hours are longer than other boutique gyms, and (4) location. I chose to do a month to month membership for $85/month plus tax. I'm happy I did because I ended up needing to cancel due to two bad back injuries and a tear in my knee (not related to working out!). This month to month allowed me to cancel vs. on a long term contract, but the owner Rose and her specialist walked me through the process with grace The crowd is a mix of local, some military, and age range mostly college age up to 50s for the most part. People keep to themselves but the local vibe made me feel comfortable and less judged compared to other gyms, especially after weight gain. There are multiples of most machines, and enough stair masters and treadmills to go around! Office staff was consistently kind and helpful, you can tell the owners are involved on the daily based on the service the staff offers. Bathrooms on the smaller side but clean, and bring your own lock for a locker. The 24 hour option at GyFitness isn't much more expensive than the limited hour option for those who prefer a more empty gym or work early/late. Parking can get busy at peak hours, but you're right next to Costco and two small restaurant centers so the most you'll walk is a minute or two from your car if you don't want to wait for a spot. It's a nice gym if you work Mililani/Ewa/Schofield but live in town, pull over to this gym right off the H2 and get a work out in until traffic dies down. 5 stars!

I then asked the person in charge (who was seated in the instructors group) how to go about signing up my son... And was told he was too young? I replied "I thought you started kids from 5 years old?" He replied "Do you know anyone in the club?" I answered no. Maybe I missed something? Idk? But... most likely not going back. We've been told it's full, that there aren't enough kids, or that they could only play for 30 minutes. This time, I called ahead to make sure there was space before driving over. The person I spoke with told me they were open and had plenty of room. I explained that we would arrive in about 30 minutes. He said there was a birthday party starting at 4:00 PM, so my three boys would have 30 minutes to play freely before it got busy, and that they would be fine. When we arrived, we were immediately told they were closed for a party. I explained that I had just called and been told otherwise. Instead of trying to resolve the situation, the staff became hostile and accused me of lying, saying, "We don't even have a phone. We haven't had one for months." That's impossible because I called the phone number listed on their Google Business page. Rather than apologizing or trying to figure out what happened, they told us to leave and refused to let my kids play. The customer service was completely unacceptable. Lucas, Jason, and the manager (who refused to give me their name) handled the situation very poorly. Even if there had been a misunderstanding, there was no reason to treat a customer that way. We left and went to Space Room instead, and it turned out to be the best decision. The staff there were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Our kids had an amazing time, and the experience was everything we had hoped for. I will never return to Pups of War, and I cannot recommend it based on how we were treated. Save yourself the wasted trip and go somewhere that values its customers.
