Aim Mart carries lots of different kinds of food that I don't see anywhere else. Ten-pound sacks of teff flour? Twelve kinds of masala? Zwan chicken luncheon meat? It's all here. That said, the market does have a bit of a dystopian feel to it. When I visited, it was oh-so quiet, with very few people there. But I guess that just makes for a peaceful, undisturbed shopping experience. The store was well organized. You'll find fresh and frozen food, international groceries, Islamic crafts, clothing, cookware like Moroccan tagines and lots more. It also has a bakery and a meat counter. Importantly, an excellent Middle Eastern restaurant called Batman Grill is located inside Aim Mart, as well as a taqueria that had just opened. These are full-on restaurants with seating, not take-out joints, although you can also get your food to go, if you so choose. The area of Indianapolis where Aim Mart is located is very diverse, so it's neat that there's a market here to serve the community! read more

Great place for halal meats - they always have a great variety available and if you're looking for something particular you're able to call and reserve it ahead of time. They also have a wide array of dry goods so if you're looking for a special ingredient for an ethnic dish (especially middle eastern), they may have it. Unfortunately the frozen foods and fresh foods are mostly a miss. They have a very limited selection and of what they have, the frozen items seem to be 1 big block of ice making me think they were not kept to temperature at some point. They do look like they're renovating the inside and rearranging some things, especially the fresh foods section so here's to hoping they improve things! read more

I'd long been curious about Aim Mart, an international grocery/retailer located inside the old Marsh at 86th and Ditch Road. Opened in 2022, Aim Mart targets being a sort of hub for international products. Co-owner Ammar Qaatabi opened Aim Mart with a goal of acquiring anything that customers request. It's a grand goal that Aim Mart doesn't quite live up to, however, it's an admirable goal and there's definitely a unique vibe throughout Aim Mart. Aim Mart carries a wide variety of produce, fresh fish, meat, kosher items, a halal meat section, and a mind-boggling array of spices. It has an ice cream/gelato shop, bakeries (Mediterranean, American, and Mexican items), perfume/cologne, pharmaceuticals, I found the store chaotic, though some will appreciate that naturalness. The interior maintains the Marsh design for the most part, though these days it's dirtier but organized. The old automated doors are in a bit more disrepair. In terms of access, I'd say it's middling. The old Marsh curb cuts are still present and there's accessible parking. However, I'd say wheelchair users will likely do best with some assistance. There's no denying that Aim Mart emphasizes Middle Eastern items, though there's an obvious effort to diversify with some success. There are some American items in the actual window (for example, Pure Life water), however, once you're inside you'll be taken by the atmosphere and the smells. Oh my, the smells. I was most taken by the bakery items and the availability of different types of drinks. While I can't say Aim Mart will be a destination spot for me, especially since I have Saraga pretty close, my curiosity has been satisfied and I would still visit again when I'm back in the area. This is the same corner with His Place Eatery and Half Price Books. So, it's worth a stop even if Aim Mart is unlikely to blow you away. I don't know that I've ever seen the place packed, however, every time I drive by there are a few cars in the parking lot. If you're in the area, check it out. read more

Finally, we have a nice international market on the northwest side of Indianapolis. Aim Mart carries a mix of Middle Eastern, Indian, Mexican and other specialty foods. I was struck by how neat and organized the store is. All the labels face forwards and the bottles sparkle. They offer fresh baked pita and middle eastern breads. The breads were still warm when I picked up a pack of pita, I could barely wait to get home to try it. The breads are delicious. The clerks are very friendly and will make recommendations and tell you how to store particular items. It was the best service that I have had in a grocery store in recent times. There is a Mexican meat shop and taqueria on the west side of the store. You can get tacos, burritos and a few other fresh items and eat them at the tables in the rear of the store or take them home. The chicken tacos are excellent. They also carry middle eastern cookware, assorted rugs and some clothing as well. There is plenty of parking and the store is accessible. I'll be a regular. I am so happy that we have this option in such a convenient location. I considered this a small version of an international market that provides its customer a range of items. They have toiletries, jewelry, clothes a variety of foods honey, oil, Spices, fresh fruits, a bakery, and a restaurant. I think they have any spice you need or could think of. Ok first of all they are just a closer Arabic market. Barely anything if not NOTHING else international besides Indian and Ramen. Loosing a star for that lie. It's not cleaned up very nicely in here and still looks up just not appealing to the eyes. Also prices are just ripped off of shelves and not even tried to be cleaned up. And containers don't even have the right titles like one that was supposed to be pineapple was filled with powder and another was supposed to be cranberries was trail mix. They didn't take any time to make stuff look like so unfortunately another star off. For the fact that it IS another Arabic market you get to keep the rest of your stars. We ate off of real China plates. It was very enjoyable. I would recommend anybody who wants to try something different. What did you have? I had the chicken something. Could you tell that it was chicken? No not necessarily, but I'm not a connoisseur of meat." I had a really great experience here at AIMMART the other day. I had probably driven past this place many times, but stopped in to see what it was like inside. It was huge! Packed with all sorts of Middle Eastern products--from food and drinks to clothing. There is a bakery inside that make fresh pita but the highlight for me was the small restaurant inside. We ordered the shawarma plate and a lentil soup. The shawarma was packed with flavor but the tahini and garlic dipping sauce on the side were key! The lentil soup was also so tasty and provided a great balance to the shawarma dish. This is a great hidden gem and I can't wait to explore more of the menu. read more

Great variety of fresh produce, baked goods, middle eastern and Mexican specialties that I have not found elsewhere, good prices, nice people. Store is clean and it is refreshing to find a locally owned/non-chain grocery. Cheeses, pita bread, spices, beautiful pastries, and an array of other things from toys to rugs to incense. My husband and I went to Aim Mart for lunch today and it was delicious! We ordered the chicken shawarma platter (chicken shawarma with rice and salad) my husband had the beef shawarma with fries. The platter gives you a generous portion! It was really good. My husband likes his sandwich and the fries were perfect! They also had pistachio tres leche cake that we ordered to go. The cake was very good and one serving was enough for both of us. I can't wait to go back. We also wondered around the store and loved seeing all the different spices,pastas, sauces, etc. I really hope this mart does well since I am a fan! read more

Absolutely fascinating! The assortment and variety are best I've seen. Zillion of spices and spice blends. Produce looked great. Staff very friendly and helpful. I was a bit out of my element but needed a couple international spices. They quickly and kindly helped me find exactly what my recipes called for. More so, it was a joy cruising up and down aisles just looking at their food assortments, beautiful tea sets, and all the other lovely out-of-the-ordinary items. The store was still in the process of stocking its shelves when we visited it. In fact, it was its 'soft opening'. The store is a hub for international products, particularly from the Arab world offering a variety of produce, fresh fish and meat, a designated kosher aisle, a halal meat section, and rows and rows of spices. There's a Reef restaurant, an ice cream, and gelato shop, and two bakeries. Aim Mart also has a perfume and cologne counter, beauty supplies, clothing, and cookware from all over the world. The store features a butcher with extensive kosher selections, a bakery highlighted by Middle Eastern sweets, a Mediterranean restaurant, a pharmacy, and a tax-preparation service. They have every type of flour known to man as well as spices. They also have a money center, phone, and electronic repair center. Though the staff was busy putting the merchandise on shelves and tables, they helped us to find our items. The prices were reasonable. There were enough parking spaces. read more
