Too expensive. Technician came out to my home for a diagnostic. Determined it was a damaged circuit board in the furnace. Gave me a repair price of $670. I got a second opinion and was able to get the work done for $320. Tech made it seem like the part was too difficult to get and tried to convince me that I needed a whole new AC system for 8K-10K. I able to determine that the circuit board is a very common part. read more

The only reason I gave this 2 stars was for the friendly service by Ryan as I was desperately looking for someone to fix our air conditioner during the 100+ degree heat wave. Little did I know they weren't interested in fixing the issue but more interested in trying to sell us a new unit. I called Patrick for a quote on duct replacement and asbestos abatement, and he was very communicative and transparent. Nothing worse than vague responses, or no responses at all. After being in desperate need to fix my OLD AC, I did some research on yelp and I came across Air CareSaver. After reading all the good reviews and looking at pictures I call them without hesitation. I got Ralph on the phone (he's the owner) on a Wednesday and by Thursday i had Edwyn over my house. Edwyn was really friendly and knowledgeable. Wspoke about my options and he took the time to explain the whole process without getting annoyed about my ignorance in the AC field. LOL After feeling very comfortable with Edwyns Assessment I went ahead and booked a meeting with Ralph to go over pricing. Ralph was also friendly and knowledgeable about he's trade, so after picking a plan that worked for us we went ahead and signed the contract. The meeting with Ralph was the Saturday after the Friday visit, by Tuesday the job was done. Talk about fast service! To finalize this review I would like to to say that, the only reason why I'm giving them a 4 star review as oppose to a 5 star is because I did notice some small cracks on the ceiling; nothing to big or nothing to be concerned about. Great service! Ralph and his crew fixed a leaking problem. I thought something went wrong with A/C, but actually the leaking wasn't caused by the A/C, there was clog in a drain pipe in Kitchen, so the water from A/C couldn't drain out through that pipe and went back to the A/C. The technician pointed out the problem and taught me how to change the right type of connecting pipe. Good job! read more

Our last installation a few years ago was done unprofessionally, sloppy, went out of business, so we needed to find someone quick. During this pandemic, the last thing you want to think about is your home running into problems. I'm really glad they were fast, professional and even wore the disposable boot covers and face mask during these difficult times of Covid-19. Air Care Saver crew came in and installed a new AC/furnace and condenser at my house (current system was getting old and reaching its end-of-life). Costco usually has good deals on these units with installation, but these guys were able to offer better prices and I'm glad I went with Air Care Saver instead! It was a full days work to get everything installed and running and said they would be out by 5pm, but instead finished around 3pm (2 hours earlier than expected). I had nothing but a great experience with the people at Air Caresaver. My AC stopped working right before last weekend heatwave. It was impossible to find a repairman last minute . So I waited until Monday morning to call, I really didn't think I was going to get " same day service" but I took a shot anyway. Erica was very nice and professional, she actually scheduled me in for the same day. With constant communication as to the eta of the technician Erica went above and beyond. Ralph ( the owner ) arrived , he is very pleasant and very knowledgable, he gave it to me straight. BLOWN fan motor. We set up the repair, he had to order the part , said it might be about a week. The part came in early and Angel the technician came in replaced the part in a very clean and professional manner. I can't say enough good things about these guys .. 10 stars in my book.... So the Story doesn't exactly end here . So after the " new " fan motor was installed . the AC unit failed again the very next day . So Ralph came out to check the problem again. NOW he tells me that the control board that runs the entire unit if failing and suggest that I get a new unit his first quote was $13K but if I pay him in cash he can do it for $6K. WHAT !!!! . I decided to get a second opinion, I had someone else come out . and I was told that it was not the control board at all . the problem was that the coil was dirty , because the filter had not been changed in a long time. the unit was cleaned and repaired and I saved $$THOUSANDS of dollars. .. I cant believe that I was taken for a ride with Caresaver. there is so much more I am choosing not to write about . consumer beware!!! and watch out for the upsell.. Here is more after all .. Ralph your guy wired the fan speeds backwards when he installed it. You didn't catch that, when you came by second time. And Ralph You didn't even replace the cover On the circuit board when you left. The other guy I hired found it on the floor And found the error on the wiring . read more

I am not one to write reviews but the work performed on my home deserves merit. Ralph and Patrick came to my home and explained the whole process of getting my HVAC upgraded the right way and I am sure glad I did. The whole process was timely and went just as explained. The abatement crew who came out were courteous and clean and thorough no short cuts here, The HVAC team worked hard and got the job done in one day, this included pulling out the existing unit and installing new one and all new ducting and registers oh and new condenser on the roof it's so quite don't know its there. I was really impressed with their teamwork and attention to detail. The job is neat and has that clean install look. When the inspector came out to perform pressure test I was pleased that it passed with even better than expected numbers. Cool summer for me and my family.
