AC went out on me so I used yelp to find someone local and came across Mannys. Within 3 hours they were at my place. Long story short, my AC unit was done for good. I won't go into all the details, but they tried everything before coming to that conclusion. I requested they install a new unit when they could. Today (a mere 36 hours later) I have air conditioning again. I can't speak to the value monetarily, but I can speak to the fact that they were on time, super polite, hard working, and my cats right now are belly up on the floor purring that it's no longer 91F inside my place. To put it simply Manny is the absolute best company I have ever used for anything. I had a Trane HVAC system installed a few years ago in what turned out to be a terrible location. When I decided to have the unit moved to a quieter area I called several HVAC companies who all made it seem like it would be a massive effort. All of that changed when Manny came out to assess the project. He told me exactly what needed to happen and made it all seem stress free and doable and said he'd have a crew out the next week and he did! Our air conditioning went out at 12:30pm last Wednesday - the temp was 100+ degrees outside & I work from home. I immediately called the HVAC company I've been using for a few years, but they weren't available until the following afternoon. I panicked! I jumped on Yelp knowing full well the chances of finding someone to come out same day during the hottest week we'd had, were slim & none. I knew I wanted someone local, small business, family owned, & of course, available if at all possible. I called Manny's HVAC & eureka! They could come out same day. It was going to be late, probably after 6pm, but that was fine by me. As it turns out, they were delayed until after 10pm, but Manny still came out. I was shocked in the best possible way! He showed up with a great attitude, apologized for being delayed - which was completely unnecessary because he was doing me the favor, had the part we needed on his truck, fixed the air conditioner (armed with a headlamp as it was very dark in the corner of my backyard at 10:30pm), & the cost was more than reasonable. We could not be happier! The person who answered the phone initially was fantastic, he then kept me in the loop as the night wore on so we knew there was a delay - we felt informed & taken care of throughout the entire process. We discovered a serious HVAC leak early on a Saturday morning and after no response from our longtime HVAC servicer, I contacted Manny based on the many 5-star reviews. Manny did not disappoint; he had a technician at our home even earlier than the timeframe he gave us. Our unit was nearly 20 years old and we were provided two options, the first a repair that was not guaranteed to fix the problem permanently given the age of the unit or the option to replace the unit. Manny's pricing for both options was upfront and transparent and when we opted to replace the unit, the many questions we asked regarding recommended brands and the timeline and work involved were answered. The work was performed on schedule and the install looks great. Manny even upgraded our thermostat to the Nest Pro and we love this too. Just got my new HVAC and duct work through Manny. His pricing is reasonable and I could not have been more pleased with the work. First, during initial walk through, Manny made suggestions for adding new vents and other enhancements. His suggestions improved the airflow in my house. He chose the perfect mix of equipment for my house. Next, his team came in and removed all the old equipment and duct. They ran all new ducts and vents and new equipment in the attic.
