Kirk was FANTASTIC! Our unit is 20 years old, we have never really had regular maintenance on it. He showed up super early (they asked if that was okay, and YES thank you). Before he arrived they sent a text with his name and photo. I absolutely love this! That extra safety is so important. Kirk looked at our unit and asked some questions. He explained all they do with the "family plan" so we signed up. I am one of those that needs to be reminded of scheduled upkeep so this is perfect. He gave us the estimate before he started and I asked for a very rough estimate of a new unit (having no idea) so we decided to go with repair and hope for the best. The repair wasn't cheap but considering all the work that needed to be done as well as it being an older unit, I feel it was a very fair price. I think we did have the best with Kirk. He was able to repair our unit and give it some much needed TLC for our AC unit and furnace. He even installed our pre-purchased thermostat! Kirk was polite and considerate. He took time to answer all of our questions and ensured us that we could reach out with any questions, I believe him. Service people can often be rushed, there is a lot of work out there, but not Kirk. He didn't waste time either, I felt like he was in and out in no time at all. By the time he left we understood all that was done and what we need to do to get some additional service from our current unit. I could not be happier with the call I made this morning. I picked the right people to call!

Received a mailer of a "pre-paid" heating/furnace tune up & a water heater sediment flush…read more My heater recently went out so I called them out. They sent another company, I didn't get any "pre-paid" service but was quoted $3,300+ to fix it. I was graciously offered a short term fix for $1,000+ and charged $89.00 for coming out. Bait & switch, I'll get my heater fixed by another company.

We were referred to J Martin by a colleague of ours, and it was the BEST decision that we have made when it comes to HVAC. We are writing today to both share our past and present experience and to praise Jared Martin and his team, whose knowledge and dedication were absolutely invaluable in the service process. For years, we were constantly making repairs to our AC systems. Every summer we would be stressed out about the AC no longer functioning, so we would set the temperature higher than a comfortable level as to not strain the system and in hopes that it would not fail. But every summer something would go wrong and we would go days waiting for a temporary repair. If the upstairs AC went out, we would bring a mattress downstairs and sleep downstairs for days. Thankfully we have 2 separate systems to be able to do this. After 10 years of stretching out our old systems and constantly stressing on these components in our home that are meant to bring comfort, we were blessed to have discovered J Martin. Upon our first contact with J Martin in September of 2025, we had the pleasure of speaking with Ruby over the phone. She is such a kind and sweet person with phenomenal customer service. When we first began looking into repairing our Air conditioner, as with most people, we were a bit overwhelmed. Ruby and the other customer service staff were easy to get in contact with and they scheduled us very quickly. She was extremely transparent with coordinating our requests. She scheduled an inspection for our non-functioning downstairs system and we were blessed to have Jesus Ochoa come to our home. He is an absolute Gem of a human being. He didn't try to sell us on a new system at first, but instead he simply educated us on how the systems work and what the deficiencies in our systems were. The coolant was sub-level, our ducts were undersized and our condenser and furnace were simply old. He informed us that he could fix it and provided the cost to repair the system, but we would run into these problems again in the future (as we had been for 10 years since we purchased our home). The fact that he educated us with things we never had knowledge of helped us to make the decision to just purchase a brand-new complete system. New condenser, ducts, furnace, Merv 13 air filter, etc. When it came down to the day of our install, we felt so comfortable with the lead installer Santiago Nunez and his team Chris and Frankie. They were so courteous, professional and polite. The install went SO smooth and they patiently answered all of our questions and addressed our concerns. They did a great job of protecting our belongings during the install, including protecting our floors, carpets and clothing in our closet. Santiago, Chris and Frankie are the dream team! Last year we knew that we would eventually need to replace our Upstairs system as well sometime soon. We contacted J Martin again in June 2026 and Jesus showed up like a hero. We were already comfortable with his honesty and sincerity. He put together a system for us based on his knowledge of our home and we moved forward with a brand-new complete system. We were SO happy with the Lead installer Irvin and his crew Kevin, Oleyvo and Pablo. They were ALL extremely professional, kind and so considerate. Irvin and his crew went out of their way to make sure we were happy and they even did things pertaining to the system that they didn't even have to do!!! This new system is amazing. We got all of the components as with the previous system downstairs and in addition we got a new attic fan which helps a lot. J Martin also provides maintenance plans for AC and Heating systems as well. We purchased the plans for both of our systems and it is a valuable and necessary option for peace of mind. Shout out to Jared (Jr) for our last tune up!!! A/C repairs can be a very stressful and a scary process. Jared the Owner thoughtfully kept us informed and at ease every step of the way, and with the assistance of Jesus, Donny, Ruby, Satiago's crew and Irvin's Crew, they made the repair process an enjoyable experience. The company was never too busy to answer our questions, and promptly returned each of our phone calls. J Martin earned our trust and respect, and we will not hesitate to recommend them to our friends and family for their Heating and Air Conditioning needs. In addition, we will continue to speak highly of J Maritn because of our experience working with Jesus, Santiago, Irvin and their team. Graciously, he took my feedback of asking his team to leave voicemails (or text) to help resolve some of the miscommunication. Thankfully Frankie and Edwin were able to squeeze us back in this afternoon and completed the scheduled work. They were incredibly pleasant, apologetic and kind. We have a couple of visits left for the HERS inspection (along with Rebel Air staff) and the City inspection. Looking forward to a hopefully smooth closeout to this project. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I hate to leave this review, because everything had initially gone very well with our project. We spent well over $20k to do ductwork, put in a new HVAC system in and add a mini split. The initial visit with Johnny was wonderful and he did a great job explaining the work and provided a competitive quote compared the other estimates we received. He also provided great recommendations on additional registers/vents to balance out our airflow. Those were installed, but instead of the additional vent he originally suggested in our west-facing living room, one was added in the kitchen, making the kitchen very cold but the living room very warm. The work took longer than the original 5 days planned (about 7-8 days), but they did a great job cleaning up after. This was in March 2026. It is now July 2026. During the initial estimate, Johnny had indicated that they were happy to come by to adjust dampers as needed, and Vincent was very helpful with that although advised that we need to rotate the TDuct feeding into the kitchen/living room to better balance the airflow. The work wasn't done correctly to begin with, but we are ok with that solution if it helps the situation. When the HERS inspectors came to help finalize the City permit in April, they noted that none of the caulking was done. This morning we had an appointment from 8-10am to do the caulking and rotate the TDuct that I am taking time off of work to do. I called in past 9am to get a status update but I'm told a representative (Edwin) knocked and called but left when no one answered. I was in the back doing a bit of yardwork with my phone on me - several calls, including spam came in, but no voicemails. No videos from our doorbell or cameras out front show anyone coming to the door or up the walkway. I have texted Andrea to get a status update or reschedule and am waiting to hear back. Given that the initial interaction was positive, I hope that this is a fluke and a dropped ball with the miscommunication this morning and not a lack of interest on Rebel Air's part since they have already been fully paid. I hope to finalize this project soon and finish the permit with the City.

Air Concepts gets our 5-star rating for the entire project they just completed in our home. On the initial visit to our home, company owner Kelly Mae inspected the layout of our home and its HVAC system and asked what problems we had with heating and cooling throughout the house. She immediately demonstrated her full knowledge of what is required for an efficient system by explaining the method they use to analyze and calculate the geographical conditions of each room as to sun exposure as well as air and duct leakage. These calculations provide information to determine the amount of air required for each room and how they can provide what is needed for comfort and energy efficiency. This was critical for us as the original ducting installed by the builder 45-plus years ago has been grossly inadequate in our kitchen/dining area. Because of a 16-foot vaulted ceiling and a large expanse of glass (slider and large windows) being fully exposed to sun on the south and west walls, the room had heat gain that could not be overcome with a single air vent, making the room extremely warm and uncomfortable. The load calculation analysis demonstrated how a redesign of the ducting would overcome the woefully inadequate original design. A second air vent was added in the kitchen to double the cool air flow into the room, and the difference in comfort is remarkable. We can now sit in that area during the hottest hours of the day and not feel uncomfortably warm. Kelly Mae was mindful of the financial impact this big investment would have on us and recommended the A/C and furnace units that would work together to give us the best heating and cooling comfort and energy efficiency at a mid-level cost. It was her outstanding knowledge of the systems and her ability to explain the smaller details that convinced us to select Air Concepts for our HVAC replacement. We had full confidence that Kelly's advice was sound and that her goal was to recommend a system best suited for our air comfort. Her presentation was excellent, and the all-inclusive bid price was fair for the extent of the work to be done and the materials required. The price quoted was definitive, with no surprise additional costs after the job was started. I think Kelly Mae either has very good luck in finding employees for her company or perhaps it's just her experience and instinct that results in her hiring the best people. Casey is the very efficient Installations Administrator in their office who keeps the workflow humming. She handles the paperwork for the contract process and the utility company rebates. She schedules the installation, contacts all third-party vendors who will pull the required permits and provide optional services for energy upgrades and inspections required by City and by the State for energy rebates. Casey is very responsive to any questions that arise throughout the project. Greg conducted the test-in before the installation and test-out at completion, and Ethan and Todd were our installers. We got a telephone call each morning from Ethan with their expected arrival time, and they went about their jobs with efficiency and great attitudes. They each took the time to answer any questions, to explain what they were doing and even to discuss our preference as to locations for air intake relocations. We commend each of them for the excellent work they did on our project, and for the care they took to keep the work area clean. All the Air Concept employees I spoke with were courteous, efficient and knowledgeable. We enthusiastically recommend Air Concepts because of the confidence we have in the owner and the employees, and for the extremely competent and professional manner in which they completed our project. read more

I initially obtained three HVAC replacement estimates for a 25-year home with the original HVAC equipment. The three estimates were within $1.5 thousand of each other and included a replacement of AC fan and heater only. I then went to the Southern California Edison website to obtain two additional estimates from their AC Contractor approved list. These two estimates were 2.5 times higher than the first three estimates. Upon conducting extensive research on the internet for properly installing an efficient AC system, I realized that the two high bids involved recommended AC replacement procedures (i.e., duct replacement, duct insulation replacement, additional attic insulation, HERS testing, duct blast testing, refrigerant testing, City inspection, replacement of wiring and pipes, and HVAC load testing). Interestingly, four of the contractors recommended a 5-ton AC based solely on square footage of my home. Per the internet this is the old less efficient way to determine AC size. I selected Air Concepts which was the second highest bid. Air Concepts' HVAC load testing returned a recommendation for a 3-ton AC and determined the amount of airflow required for each room in the house, along with sizing and layout of the duct system. Kelly (owner) provided the most professional presentation of all the contractors and was extremely knowledgeable. Casey coordinated and scheduled all the testing, inspections, and installation of equipment. Casey reflected great organizational skills. The installers (Ethan and Todd) were meticulous and proficient. My wife appreciated their efforts in minimizing dust during the installation process. The equipment installed was American Standard which is affiliated with Trane AC under the same parent company. American Standard has a high reliability rating and was my first choice among various AC brands. The AC installation took 3 days to complete and the AC was on for four consecutive days after installation due to a 100 degrees heat wave in our area. The system worked flawlessly maintaining a constant temperature while reducing the humidity in the house. The AC fan ran with nominal audible sound. The thermostat installed is incredible--it can be controlled at home or away using your smart phone. The insulation contractor utilized by Air Concepts sealed and added additional insulation in a professional manner. The additional insulation is noticeable in keeping the home cooler during hot days. Ethan and Todd installed most of the air registers throughout the house but left four to be installed by the dry wall contractor due to potential crown molding interference. One was installed adequately but the remaining three installations were atrocious--leaving large visible gaps and ripped up crown molding. Air Concepts returned to correct the issue adequately. One other issue pertained to failing the third party AC testing twice as the home was too air tight and required additional air venting which was corrected at no addition expense. Correction of the above issues are testaments of the professionalism and commitment to their clients. The actual energy rebate was 25% higher than originally estimated as the efficiency of the AC system was better than projected which was a delightful surprise. The overall rating was 5 stars out of 5. I would recommend Air Concepts. If you want your AC system installed properly this is the company to utilize. It has been 9 months since the installation and the AC and heater system has worked flawlessly. read more

If you want a superior, top-notch, professional and ethical HVAC experience from quote to final installation, you should contact Air Concepts and talk to Kelly Mae Gleason. We recently had to replace our 30-year old HVAC system and were fortunate enough to find Air Concepts. Of course we obtained several HVAC quotes, but Air Concepts stood out with the most knowledgeable, clear and concise information and had the most professional presentation. Kelly Mae answered all of our questions thoroughly and was never pushy, just very informative. She suggested options that resolved all the problems we had with the former system - excessive noise, inadequate air to all rooms, location (it made perfect sense to move the furnace from the hallway to the attic). When we decided to contract with Air Concepts to provide us with all new HVAC, it was like working with a well-oiled machine. They have a rock solid team (Kelly Mae, Josh, Greg, Rickardo, Shayne and Metha to name a few) that moved forward with exactitude to get each step of the process done right. We had their installation team of Rickardo and Shayne on our project and it could not have gone better. Rickardo ran the entire job with precision and Shayne was in sync with every step. They are both very focused professionals who worked non-stop. Rickardo and Shayne were also respectful to us and our property, neat and tidy with all tasks, and kept us informed of the progress during the 3-day course of work. Once done, Air Concepts also worked hard to submit all required contractor documentation for available energy rebates for us. We already received the wonderful energy rebate check as a result of their diligence. We are extremely happy with our new HVAC system (which is just as quiet as Kelly Mae said it would be) and thrilled with every aspect of this very large, perfectly completed project. Air Concepts is exceptional in working with the customer to determine what will provide their home with the best fit for their needs. Due to their extra efforts, we now have a highly efficient, quiet HVAC system that truly keeps our home comfortable all the time. The team at Air Concepts is amazing! Our entire HVAC system was over 20 years old and we were paying upwards of $400 a month in the summer just to keep our house at 80F. Our 50's home had virtually zero insulation in the attic and still had asbestos ducting. We needed a completely new system. Before we decided to go with Air Concepts we had six other contractors come out and give their recommendation and pricing. Air Concepts was head and shoulders above the others in terms of professionalism and knowledge. When Kelly first came to my house, everything she said just made sense and this was after seeing 5 other contractors. Kelly also kept me from making a mistake and getting into an ultra-low NOx furnace. They instead installed an all-electric heat pump system which also came with a $3000 rebate from the state and another $1500 rebate from the AQMD. BTW, other companies either don't know about these rebates or their companies don't meet the requirements to qualify for them and for some, both were true. Installation began one week after we signed the contract. I have never met a nicer group of guys who did the work. A big shout out to Todd, Pedro, Will and Zach. They involved me anytime a decision needed to be made and they added things that we hadn't even discussed. They added scope that was not in my contract and did not charge me for it. Zack asked me if I wanted a vent in my spare bathroom which did not have one. I asked him what he thought and he said if it was his house he would want one, and I said great! I didn't even think of putting one there, even though that bathroom is always hot in the summer and cold in the winter. They also fixed the issue with our master bedroom which never got enough air. They were in my house for three days and never left a mess! They were everywhere and were so polite about furniture and asking before entering any rooms. I could go on and on about my experience and how pumped I am with our new system. I am actually looking forward to some 100F days in August! I had Air Concepts come out for a tune-up this past summer. My system is 25 years old and still was in good working condition but we had some issues with the cooling in 2 rooms - no sales pressure to upgrade or needed extra parts, only recommendation was a recharge in the near future would help. The tech that came out was great. I do have old attic duct work that I was constantly reattaching to the furnace so I recently started thinking about changing that out. I had AC come out to give bids on new duct work as well as a new efficient system. Josh came out and listened to my concerns and gave me 3 options. The proposals were detailed and let me see all the components involved. I ended up getting bids from multiple companies to compare. Some companies basically would open a book and give me pricing but wouldn't give me specific details. I did receive follow-up proposals but it was hard to compare apples to apples as they would still bulk their bids and I would have to call back for more details. I just felt comfortable with the whole package that Josh at Air Concepts provided and the details of the proposals. He initially discussed the various options and explained the whole process if I ended up going with them. They would do air measurements and drawings to provide the most efficient result. They didn't seem to try and hide anything. I moved forward with them for new duct work and a new efficient system. The technicians, Ethan and Todd that installed everything were professional, efficient and very clean. They put tarps on all the floors and made sure they cleaned before they left. They explained everything they were doing and went thru the whole system when done. The new system is quiet and works great and the new duct work has helped move the air and heat more efficiently to cover all the rooms better. The staff at Air Concepts is outstanding. I never felt rushed, put off, or unimportant. They walked me through each step of getting paperwork done and financing my unit. They answered my many questions with patience each time we spoke. I had my entire attic gutted to replace the heater and install an air conditioning system. Ethan and Todd were my install technicians and did an impeccable job. They are efficient, professional, knowledgeable, respectful and courteous. Since I'd never had air conditioning, they took the time and showed me how to work the digital thermostat, which I love. Each inspection gave raving reviews to Ethan and Todd for the neatness and thoroughness of their work. These two guys rock!!!! Definitely ask for this team to install your unit. For the entire job I had 2 near mishaps: The insulation company came to replace insulation. I was told they would be there for about another hour. I needed to pick my son up from school but I was back in about 20 minutes. They were gone and had left my house open with no call to me to say they were done. Y camera showed them leaving right after I left. Men from the city working on my curb also let me know they watched my house for me because the company left soon after I did. Not good! A small issue with the inspector from the city of Long Beach: The inspector stated the install company was supposed to be onsite, have a ladder for his access to the attic and have the attic open for him. I had a ladder but he says if I hadn't he would have failed my inspection on that alone. I had to set up the ladder as he was not supposed to carry it; then he said that's not for the customer to do. So if you're in Long Beach getting A/C install have a ladder or be prepared to fail the inspection and reschedule. Overall, my experience with Air Concepts was good. read more

I recently (May '16) had an HVAC system and a new water heater installed by Air Concepts. The owner (and estimator), Kelly Mae, proposed several different installation options and we chose to go with a two-stage system and also to remove the current 40-year old furnace installation and install the new furnace/evaporator in our attic. I couldn't be more pleased with the installation team -- Josh, Ethan, and Ricardo. They were quick, efficient and always cleaned up after themselves. Even after the final installation, the company stayed with me to get through the city inspection, which was not without some problems. All discrepancies were quickly rectified. Due to the diligence of the Air Concepts staff, we even received a "never-before-received" apology from the city inspectors on one particular paperwork issue, thanks in large part to Casey's efforts. Most importantly, the final system performance is amazing. My electricity bills are far smaller than I would have expected, due primarily to the energy efficiency upgrades installed as part of the system. The upgrades also included, of course, electric ignition for the furnace and water heater, which resulted in cutting my summer gas bill to a ridiculously low amount. With the increased AC efficiency, I expect my winter heating to be similarly efficient and result in a much lower heating bill. Bonus: I now have a new storage closet where the old furnace used to be. Wow! Another bonus: I don't hear the system running inside the house. No more cranking up the TV to drown out the furnace blower! You won't go wrong with Air Concepts. You just might get cheaper, but you won't get better. read more

This company is a rip-off. They advertise these $79.00 tune ups and in essence they come to your home and try to up-sell you to a more expensive system. True story and I will make it brief. I called for tune up ($79.00) after seeing ad in OC Register. Guy came. Looked at a/c unit ( I did not accompany him) came back in with a burnt wire and said it was super important (yada yadayada) and needed to be replaced. It was $425.00 and I was told I needed to upgrade my system to a 20K system that will work better ??? Fast forward to this week. System is now malfunctioning. Making noise A/C not cold. Called another company. Young man very polite came and I followed him and stalked him while he was at the unit. He opened it up and there on the ground was the "burnt wire" the Air concepts guy showed me.. My system needed a new capacitor and this company installed it and reduced the Freon because it was overloaded with Freon. He walked me through everything step by step. The air concepts guy did none of this. Don't hire this company they are a rip off. I would like to know if the girl in the photo is legit or some previous owner. I should have wrote this review earlier but I did not think this kind of scam goes on. Do not trust this company or hire them. Their tech had a burnt wire and made up that whole story and charged me $425.00. The new company told me this goes on all the time and air concepts has a history of this. We just recently bought a 50 yr old house and as first time home buyers/owners, we didn't know a lot of people in the home services department. We used the power of the internet + yelp to find businesses that can help us with specific issues in our new home. That's where we found Air Concepts. We're so glad that we kept trying to find a company that can help us with our upgrade needs. We talked to a bunch more other companies before we landed Air Concepts and it was worth it! It's all thanks to Kelly and her guidance that we are now enjoying our brand new highly efficient AC system, tank-less water heater and very comfortable home where we are raising our daughter and hopefully future kids. Air Concepts is very knowledgeable and they were able to answer all our questions. There was no "stupid question" for them, being a new home owner, we were bound to ask noob questions that veteran owners might consider "stupid questions". The support we got from them for making sure we get all the rebates is priceless! It's been almost a year now since our system got installed and they were still helping us out on our rebates, where can you find that??? Usually once a company finishes their project and gets paid, they forget about you, Air Concepts didn't do that. They were still as approachable and reachable as before. Using Air Concepts to replace our AC, furnace and water heater was the best thing we could have done. Kelly came to our home and explained our options, answered all questions, but there was no pressure to make a decision at that time. Her knowledge of AC/furnace equipment and waters heaters helped us decide to use Air Concepts. Once we made that decision, we were in communication with Casey from the office who provided a work schedule giving the dates, times, and individuals who would be working. Thank you Casey for all the help you gave us. Josh was great also, he explained the tests he did and answered any questions we had. The installers, Ricardo and Shayne were absolutely the best!! They were friendly and courteous and kept us informed about what they were doing. They didn't mind that my husband asked so many questions as they did their jobs. It really helps when the people working at your home treat your home like it is theirs, and the did. They also finished the installations one day early. Found a coupon in the OCRegister for air conditioning service. Called & received information & a quote over the phone, not only for air conditioner service, but the full service for $76 to include the heating system. Great customer service, who went over all the points that would be covered on Air Concepts full service & followed up with a reminder call the day before scheduled service with day/time. A real person! Service Technician, Coy, called me this morning with his ETA. Very polite, thorough, explained the service check as he checked both units. Went over and beyond the call of duty on the air conditioner unit, by removing a branch for him to properly check the unit, with my approval of course. Booties and drop cloth used to keep your home free of debree. Heater entrance is in ceiling to get inside attic. Coy took his time to do his job and wrote out his observations on the invoice. I didn't have any major problems with the air conditioner nor heater, I just make it a point to have my appliances checked every 2 years to make sure of any hidden dangers or unexpected problems. I will schedule my service again with Coy in 2 years and appreciate all the sound advice he gave. I'm also happy to say I've found a service who shows up. read more

After 3 quotes from other companies, to replace our 30 year old furnace and add air conditioning, we found Kelly Mae. She showed up on time, brought in her ladder and immediately assessed the option of relocating our furnace from the garage to the attic. Her assessment was thorough and included everything we needed to meet our needs and the requirements for rebates from Edison and So Cal Gas company. Ricardo and Griffin were awesome with their installation of the new furnace and AC. They had to deal with the fact that our street was undergoing resurfacing and had to park their truck down the street. But they managed to kept the work going. They instructed us on how to use our new thermostat and what to do when the City inspector came for the final permit. The City inspector was VERY impressed with the quality of work and was in and out in 10 minutes. This was a true team approach, I had so many people coming and going for; abatement, insulation, testing, etc. all arranged by Karen. Everyone was professional, on time and the work was of the highest quality. We LOVE our new system, so quiet and efficient. Complete American Standard HVAC System installed in 2008. Leak discovered in inside compressor coil for a/c in June 2016. Originally told would have to pay $1700.00 to repair. Even though I had 10 year warranty on parts and service, was told that the coil was not manufactured by American Standard, thus was not covered by warranty. My warranty did not specify anywhere if any parts were exempt Richard and Victor, technicians came to house on Jul 12, 2016 to replace coil. "Both very professional, on time,and very neat. While replacing coil, I asked Richard if he knew why I had to pay for the coil replacement, even though I had a warranty, and once again, I wanted someone from Air Concepts management to explain. Richard immediately made a call, and then told me the Kelly's son, whom he had talked to, had authorized the repairs to be performed at no cost since we had been loyal customers and had also just recently recommended Air Concepts to our friends. Kudos to Air Concepts for doing the right thing. Kudos also to Richard and Victor for their professionalism and expert installation of the new coil. read more

My AC broke down on the hottest day of year. I called another repair company (that I had previously worked with) to schedule an appointment, and they never called me back. A friend of mine had referred me to Air Concepts, saying that she has had excellent service from them in the past. I called Air Concepts on a Sunday evening and left a voicemail. The following morning, I got a call from them and had an appointment scheduled on Thursday, Frank came out and explained his service. He pointed out things that the last AC company did not do correctly, as well as other issues that I may need to fix in the future. No pressure whatsoever to get those fixed now. He gave me options on how to fix my current issue. Frank was able to fix everything within 45 minutes of arriving. He cleaned up after himself and even cleaned up my outside unit as well! Who every contractor should aspire to be. We have a 27 year old tract home that needed a serious upgrade of heating and ventilation. We had a good idea of what we wanted. Much more efficient and better heating, cooling, air filtering and humidity control of our home than the original tract home furnace and central air unit which she found to also be sucking up dust from our garage and putting into the house. We had so many technical questions for her that only the most experienced HVAC person would have known the answers. Kelly Mae answered all of them. She has worked in the business and knows all of the six or seven different trades needed for HVAC work, plumbing, electrical, sheet metal, carpentry etc. She was truly interested in getting the best system for us at a reasonable and honest cost. I am very impressed with Air Concepts. During a cold snap, my heater didn't work. I called Air Concepts and they sent out a technician (Frank) the next day. While he was there, he noted that the duct work was breaking down, an air coil system wasn't properly placed, etc. He also took photos and videos to show me what was going on since this system is in the attic. There was no "hard sell" and he indicated that while there was no rush to perform the services, I was probably spending more on my energy bills than necessary because of the holes, etc. A week later, a crew was sent out and now my system is running beautifully. Todd, Marshall and Joseph were thorough, polite and took care to make as little mess as possible (putting down tarp on the stairs, etc.). I received this referral to them through a neighborhood site where they were highly recommended. I would hire them again in a minute. read more

Kelly, who I found to be very knowledgeable, did a very thorough estimate of my needs and her recommendations, and gave me several options for prices and products. She cleared up all the confusing rhetoric I got from other contractors, and, true to her word, installed a unit that began saving me considerable money with the very next utility bills I received. We hired Air Concepts to do a new AC install and furnace replacement after Kelly Mae impressed us with her professionalism and extensive HVAC knowledge. Not only is she the owner of the company, but she personally came to our home on a Saturday to give us the estimate. No other contractor made as much as an impact on us as she did! Ricardo and Shane came to do the work and they were both Amazing! Especially considering that our home required a crane to get the condenser unit onto our roof. They were extremely professional, courteous and friendly. From the beginning my contact with Air Concepts was fantastic. I spoke and dealt with Linda, Kelly, and Karen throughout the project and I've not worked with a more professional and knowledgeable staff. Josh did the pre-inspection and at the appointed time Griffin, Brian, and Joseph arrived to do the change-out. They were great, solving unexpected problems with a great deal of care, and knowledge, of the different layouts that needed to be addressed. I was indeed appreciative of the way they entertained the many questions I posed to them, a know-nothing asking professionals to help me understand the why-for of what they were doing, something I did not receive from the group that installed the original system. This is a followup to previous post about Air Concepts. I had Air Concepts install all new ducting after I had another company install our a/c unit and condensor at a cost of 10,000. Air Concepts came in after and repaired and brought all the work the other company installed up to code. The other company had done such a shoddy job it bordered on illegal. Basically, the other company refused to correct their shoddy work. Kelly Mae and in particular Josh and Greg made multiple trips back out to my house to correct all the work the other company had messed up. Air Concepts was not responsible for any of the previous work but did so because their business model is to make their customers happy. They informed us that someone would come out and help us on Monday between 9-12 AM. Jeremy came and helped us out. It turned out to be a condenser pan filled with water. He helped us drain the water and troubleshoot the source, and it only cost us $230 for an hour if time and some minimal labor. Very satisfied with his help!

It is obvious that customer service is a high priority for Connected Heating and Air Conditioning. We have had two homes with complete new installs by them and they continue to maintain/fix other homes like a few condo's we have with older systems. Bryce has been out a few times for repairs, arriving on-time and is always incredibly professional. They diagnose the issue immediately and explain the fix clearly. Their repair work was fast, clean, fair priced and highly efficient. Duane is pretty good with keeping on top of things and with communication. During my research on the new units, their prices will be fair or on the lower end of quotes. Our houses stay cool, and the entire experience is stress-free. It is rare to find technicians this knowledgeable and polite. I highly recommend them for new installs or any required fix that may come up!
