They don't stand by their job. The pictures show the quality of their work. They sold a new water heater, and it failed in two years. They installed an electrical outlet that failed and was not properly installed, which caused the leak detector to fail because the water detector did not shut off the water. The electrical connection was full of water; the pictures clearly indicate this. If you value your home and life due to possible electrocution, please do your due diligence and select a quality company that stands by their work and workmanship, and stands by the work. read more

Very unhappy with Air Temp Solutions. Did not scope the job properly and a 3 day max job took over a week. Costs kept mounting and they destroyed my front lawn replacing the sewer pipes. I sent the manager pictures of the front lawn (which looked like a war zone) and his response was "it was rough graded" and that is all they will do. Customer service is lacking with these people and they don't care about the customer. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They got the last dime from our family. read more

Two managers came out to my home to correct some issues, and they did; however, they stated that they would change my contract by increasing the years of service to match the warranty of the labor and parts. Therefore, it would state 10 years for everything, which included coming out twice a year for 10 years. The managers stated that they didn't have their laptops, but they would email me the changes. Well, it never happened. So, when I call the office for a follow-up on the email, I get the run-around like "they are not in the office, they will call you back." Initially, their service was good. I've been a member for 4+ years. Now I'm considering not to renew my membership. I keep scheduling appointments and they keep canceling on the same day. I get a text someone is coming followed by a cancellation. This happened twice. Either There's not enough workers or the workers don't want to work. I'm not a happy customer. read more

Beware of deceptive repair practices. I was told I need a new Motherboard & a new motor totaling over $4,000. I googled the parts and they only added up to less than $500. I called Delaware Heating & Air and they said it was the board and that it was covered by warranty. only paid $200 for svc call. Thank God we looked to a second opinion. read more

This place is a horrible. I received an estimate & it was much higher than others. My elderly parents received a heating/ac system from them & have had nothing but problems. They paid extra for a service contract that doesn't cover anything. Their system is less than 7 years old & have issues every summer. Its obviously not quality equipment they're installing. Theyre still waiting almost 2 days later for someone to call & come out. Theyre elderly!!! They took their money & leave them hanging. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this company to anyone. read more

I am extremely disappointed in the way that Air Temp Solutions responded to my situation. John did a great job of assessing and explaining the situation, providing multiple options to resolve it, and implementing the option that I chose. His skill and knowledge were glaringly obvious as he removed the old water heater, re-routed the gas, water, and exhaust lines, and installed the new one. His calm, polite, considerate, demeanor, and competent, confident, professional attitude make him a pleasure to deal with. I would gladly invite him into my home again for any future work and/or consultation. As a plumber -- and as a person -- John has earned my respect. Unfortunately, the company he works for has just lost it. I had been happy with the level and quality of service Air Temp has provided over the last four years; but my most recent dealings with them have exposed a completely inexcusable lack of integrity Last week, an Air Temp Technician assured me that my water heater was under warranty, and would either be replaced or repaired, depending on the manufacturer's decision. Yesterday, they changed their mind. On their recommendation, we had purchased an expensive tankless hot water heater that was supposed to be efficient, reliable and durable. When it failed after only two years of use, Air Temp did very well by us, and replaced the defective unit under warranty. However, now -- just two years later -- the replacement has failed. And this time, Air Temp (after initially promising to take care of it) has refused to replace it even though it's still under the original warranty. I was told that it failed because we have hard water; and that the manufacturer would not approve a second warranty claim because we don't have a water softener, and have not been backflushing the unit regularly. Air Temp offered to replace the water heater for me, but ONLY if I paid them $5000 to install a water softener system first. When I said I couldn't afford that right now, but would be willing to perform regular backflushing now that I know it's required, I was told that's not good enough because they don't want to lose money buying me a replacement unit unless I spend enough on another service to cover that loss. When I pointed out that Air Temp evaluated our house and plumbing, recommended and installed the tankless unit, has been performing ALL of our HVAC and plumbing maintenance and repair work since that time, saw first-hand what happened to the first unit, installed the second one, has been regularly collecting maintenance contract fees from us, has NEVER offered, recommended, suggested, or even mentioned backflushing, had NEVER previously tested our water or asked if we had hard water, and had consistently and repeatedly told me that there was no other maintenance that we needed to worry about; I was told that it's in the owner's manual, and the homeowner is responsible for making sure the required maintenance takes place -- not the experts who are paid to take care of it, should have checked the water before recommending it, should have checked the water and recommended a water softening system and/or regular backflushing before the initial purchase, at the time of the first install, and especially after the first one failed. No, the professionals who are paid for their skill, knowledge, and experience can't be held responsible for something they didn't bother to warn the homeowner about, because the homeowner is the only one who's supposed to lose money when something goes wrong. I'm embarrassed to admit that I decided to purchase a new, slightly less expensive, traditional tank-style water heater from them since I couldn't afford to pay for the ridiculously expensive water softening system they wanted to sell me. I was tired, had a lot going on, had been without hot water for several days, and they knew it. At the time, it seemed like a reasonable decision; but now that I have had a chance to process everything and do a little research, I've found that the "discounted" price I paid for the new tank-style heater is more than triple the actual cost of the unit -- and that it's significantly oversized for this house, which means, not only was it more expensive than necessary, but I'll also be constantly paying to heat a lot more water than necessary. Next time something goes wrong, I'll do my homework before calling for help. The Air Temp technicians have always been great to deal with, and have consistently provided excellent service. It's a real shame the company they work for doesn't. Expensive lesson, but lesson learned. read more

Our service request for a HVAC unit installed in our furnace for an asthmatic individual became a $5,300 shouting nightmare when they installed the wrong unit. A short-shifted selling sequence did not show what they were invoicing and I didn't know they were installing a MERV 10 cheap filter instead of the MERV 19 which is HVAC. We had Air Temp Solutions install a brand new unit (including some duct work rerouting) 5 years ago. The installers were great. The sales people were great. They bent over backwards for us and we were nothing but pleased. However - the service ever since then has been a NIGHTMARE. They never call me for my yearly a/c tuneup (and then tell me that my year "plan" that I pay for has expired - because they never called to schedule) - this happens EVERY YEAR. We have a UV bulb in the system (that they installed) which has a life expetency of 2 years. They KNOW this. They told me this. (and of course they installed said bulb). Well. This year, not only did they not have my bulb on the truck when they came for my yearly service (which I had to schedule, they didn't call me!!), but when they scheduled the tech to return to install the bulb 2 weeks later, he tells me that the bulb he has for me is the wrong one!!! And that if they order a new one, it won't be available for TWO MONTHS - after a/c season is over. They only reason I stay with them (for now) is I have a 10 year warranty (parts + labor) on the unit. After those 10 years are up, I KNOW who I am switching to. Feel free to reach out to me for a better recommendation - because I for sure have one. And my review here is to save others from the headaches and irritation that I've had with the office's incompetence. Techs have been great. Installers were great. But the office has FAILED multiple times. They need to hire competent people. read more

We have air temp for a couple of years now. And this last time we had a inspection, which really surprised how thorough they are, noticed we needed a new fan. Mike came out to inspect and put the motor fan in to notice the pipes behind it had cracked. If he hadn't seen tgat we would of had carbon monoxide all in the house. After talking to Amber and finally Rachael who definatly earned her guardian angel wings helped us get things straightened out. I would totally recommend them .they are here on time and explain everything. read more

On 12/21/2023, we scheduled an emergency service for no heat. The first technician that came out didn't diagnose the issue completely. He was only here for 15 minutes. He checked the capacitor & and the fan motor and said it was bad. Closed the system up and left. He appeared to be more worried about going home at 5 pm. The second technician that came out installed the new fan motor, not knowing the first tech didn't check the entire system. Once he found out what caused the fan motor to go bad, he ordered the OEM Defrost board. Once that came in, the tech came back out and installed it, but because the tech installed the new fan motor and the Def board was bad, it also fried the 2nd motor. So now another fan motor had to be ordered. The fan motor is not an OEM part. It is a universal part. If your original tech had done his job properly, this wouldn't have taken 3 weeks to repair. Your customer service/dispatcher is far from adequate. They scheduled several appointments that were canceled by your company because parts didn't arrive and/or the tech just never showed up. A complete waste of our valuable time. We weren't even notified of what was going on. We had to do all the follow-ups ourselves. Your company didn't show any empathy or urgency in getting this resolved. There were always excuses and lies, never taking ownership of the situation. read more

We had Air Temp come in and replace our aging and inefficient 50-gallon electric water heater. Upgraded to a tankless natural gas system--couldn't be happier. They arrived a few minutes before their scheduled time, and completed the removal, installation, and cleanup within their estimate professionally and quickly. We are extremely happy with the new system, as well as the clean and professional job they did with the installation of everything, including the new intake/exhaust for the natural gas and the re-piping from the gas main. Pricing was extremely competitive, and they stand by their work. We will continue to use Air Temp for any of our HVAC/water heating needs for the foreseeable future. read more

I had an appointment July 9th. paid 240.00 for yearly maintenence plan.They cancelled the 9th appointment. I had to call and ask what was going on.. July 10th had second appointment.I have 6 mini splits 1 central air unit. Tech said he really does not do mini splits. I ask why would they send you?He says they do stuff like that.He just turned unit on and off. Said there is no maintenence to do. NOT TRUE.He left my 3rd floor mimi split unit totally dismantled face place left on floor with screws.It was icing over. July 11th they sent Anthony out.He was very competent . Did proper maintenence on Two units . His Boss told him leave without finishing the job 3 units d not get maintenence. 3 days sitting around sitting around not getting the job done. Only ask for Anthony if you use at all. Owner/ manager never returned my calls. I received 3 flyers in mail from them. Then my tech. forged my signature on is IPad with me being able to read the term just to me a price. I have prove that Chris forged my signature. I have a service contract with this business and scheduled an appointment. Was given a 2-hour window of when the technician would show up. I rearranged my schedule to be available during that 2 hour window. 5 minutes before the end of the two hour window they called and said we're not coming we need to reschedule. Then they want to reschedule me 3 weeks out. This is the way they treat their preferred service contract customers? Can't imagine what a regular person gets.
