Finally with Prudential, they really are 24/7. We called them around 3:30pm and they showed at 6pm. The individual that came, Antonio, was very nice and answered all of our questions. He was very professional and got us up and running at no time. He stated that the capacitor was bad and I was so glad that it was a part that he had. I was concerned that it was going to end up being something that we needed to have ordered. Antonio provided great service and I think that it was a reasonable price for being available during the weekend and being available on the same day.

We called Will, and he made time to come out the next evening. He was able to easily diagnose the problem as a blown capacitor and fixed it at a very reasonable price. We were up and running with a working a/c that same night! Will also remembered some of our other ongoing needs, with another aging a/c on our house and issues with our duplex rental. I follow up and confirm this is the price quote, and it may require a contactor as well (another 10-15$ part). THE DUDE RECOMMENDS I REPLACE MY ENTIRE SYSTEM. I confirm that is what he is recommending, and he says yes. To be clear, these parts wear out, and get replaced. Like, the design of the outside fan unit is such that you can remove 3 or 4 screws, and swap these parts out with a screwdriver. Because they require periodic replacement. In no way, shape, or form is that a proper response to this minor of a repair. They are scamming people that simply do not know better.
