I had the unfortunate experience of working with Air Zone because they were a contracted vendor of my home warranty. It was odd to me that both of my units had the same issue and the tech could not answer my questions so after their visit, I got a second opinion. Air Zone's assessment was not 100% true and I do believe that they know how to wordsmith and craft their assessments on paper to where the home warranty doesn't have to cover anything. They even conveniently left things out of their assessment and did not write details about how my unit was not functioning properly. I even emailed about the assessment/quote to ask questions before I had the second opinion come out. I'm not sure if it's the owner whoever handles quotes but even their response back to me was short, cold and not someone I want to give my hard earned my money to. My second opinion saved me close to $1500. I'm not sure if that's a big deal to everybody, but it is to me. Because of this situation I have canceled my home warranty so both the warranty and Air Zone have lost a customer of almost 5 years. It always tells you something about the quality of service you are receiving if the person at your home is on their cell phone the whole time and not focusing on the task at hand. It makes you really wonder what work they are really doing or if they are making something up to charge you more money. Based on the assessment I was given by Air Zone and my second opinion, I do believe that Air Zone commits fraud in order to stay in the good graces of their home warranty contract. I have seen other reviews where they have blatantly committed fraud as well. read more

not very happy with this company. called them out to fix my air conditioning system that was not blowing cold air. the technician by the name of Rodger was more concerned with dancing in my backyard filming tik toks than actually figuring out whats wrong with my AC. with the amount they charged me I don't know if it was because he took so much time dancing outside, being on his phone, or fixing my AC. read more

My Heat Pump was blowing hot air in A/C Cool Mode. I came home on Friday night ant the house was 95. Luckily the weather was cool over the weekend so didn't need service immediatly. I contact Air Zone on Sunday about 7:00 pm through an e-mail. They had a tech scheduled for Monday between 8 - 10 am. Jerry showed up at 8:40 and after inspecting the equipment for 10 minutes he deteremined the thermostat was the issue. He had it replaced in 15 minutes and the cool air flowing 5 minutes later. This is the second time I have used Air Zone and will surely use them again if needed. read more

First visit (Home warranty): Came over the next day, immediately went to work on everything (related or unrelated to any issue) that can be billed to insurance while ticking off a list of stuff we need to do that is not included in the warranty. Second scheduled (Assigned as part of home warranty): after air conditioner stopped cooling (never fixed), they gave a 12:00 to 08:00 PM arrival window, I asked for a 1 hour warning, received a 20 minute warning when I am an hour away at work, asked for them to come over at 6:30 PM after we are done house\kids, and they refused, so it was fine for me to wait for them until 8:00 but not fine for them to arrive at 6:30. read more

Airzone was sent out by my warranty company to fix a/c at my rental house. It was not cooling in the first week of high temperatures. Airzone was very timely, responsive and very easy to deal with. They interact well with email and text. I did not have to call anyone... I highly recommend considering the Covid related lockdown. They responded within 24 hours of service call. I would have given 5 stars but have to wait for couple of weeks to confirm that the freon leak has been fixed. read more

We have a Home Warranty Contract and experienced a problem with the house A/C unit. It was not cooling. The Home Warranty company selected Air Zone to evaluate and complete the repair. How fortunate we were to have Air Zone do the work. The evaporator coil had a leak and the refrigerant registered zero on the meter. Thus no cooling. They replaced the coil. They also replaced the drip pan and drain and did other modifications in the attic. They were timely, thorough and completed the work on schedule. We whole heartedly recommend Air Zone. read more

Air Zone promptly scheduled us for next day service on our two AC units. One needed service and the other got a summer checkup. Zach did an awesome job. He called ahead to let us know he was coming in 30 minutes. Once here, he got right to workin our hot attics without hesitation and diagnosed that the furnaces looked good. Outside he discovered our coolant needed to be refreshed on one AC. I really appreciated his insights about options for our 20 year old systems too (consideration for the future). I was referred to Air Zone from my home warranty company. My AC went out Friday night and they were here Monday within their stated window of time. In five minutes Caleb found the problem (bad fan motor) and rigged it up to work on a different speed so I could be cool while they got the ok from the Ins company and got the new motor. Caleb came back two days later (he said it could be that long when was first here) and did the work in 30 minutes. He kept my place clean and we chatted while he worked. As a property manager / general contractor, I generally hesitate to write reviews for any company I hire to fix a home, but these guys deserve 6 stars. I had an a/c problem in one of my rental properties on a Friday afternoon. My unreliable normal guy that I use because he has GREAT rates was as usual, not showing up. I talked to these guys at about 2 in the afternoon on a Friday, and they came out and the a/c was fixed immediately. They did not try to tell me I needed a new system. They fixed more than they needed to. I was charged $115 to add freon, level the condensor, and clean the exterior coil. This price is EXCEPTIONAL for what they provided. They also showed up in a professional van, with professional tools, and with professional outfits. I was extremely impressed, especially since I found them on Craigslist. I will be using them and referring them in the future. read more

I was connected with Air Zone through my home warranty company. I was happy with their same day appointment to look at my furnace and diagnosis the problem. I was not happy with the technician walking on my carpet with his boots after being in the rain on the first call or walking with his dirty boots again the day after to replace a part and leaving dirt marks on my new carpet. Maybe use some shoe covers when entering homes?? Overall the problem was fixed but I'm left with a carpet in need of scrubbing. read more

My house warranty company assigned them to my HVAC problem. Air Zone called me promptly to set up an appointment. I warned Alex that the access to my attic would be tight (18x24 ceiling door) and he said, no problem. Appointment was set between 12-4pm. By 4:11pm, I called to ask where they were. 10 minutes later, I get a call that they are 30 minutes away. By 5pm, the technician shows up, looks at the attic door and tells me he's too big to get through and that another company with smaller technicians would have to come out. Then he tells me that he's not going to charge! For showing up late? For doing nothing? Very nice waste of my afternoon! read more

I logged in to post a review b/c I was just getting around to taking the feedback survey from my warranty company, for the work done by AirZone at my house last month, and it had expired. I wanted to let them know how happy i was! My tenants called me on a Sunday evening that they returned to town and the A/C would not turn on. I turned my warranty request in with OneGuard, and couldn't believe we were contacted so quickly on Monday. Before they got there, I googled a few possible solutions, thinking I'd be waiting all day for them, I'd see what I could do on my own. He got there at the beginning of the time window, and he started at the outside unit. I climbed through a scuttle hole into the attic thinking it could be a different issue. I noticed one of the ducts had fallen down and landed on another, and torn the sheathing a bit. The tech fixed the outside unit so quickly, and his was unrelated to the service call, but he let me use some of his fancy shamncy tape to close up the tear in the duct. I started dropping tools, flashlight, etc back into the house and he rushed over so I could hand the rest down to him, then he insisted on holding the (too short) ladder as I dropped down from the attic. [I actually wanted him to leave, b/c I was scared to death to get back down, not being able to see the ladder or feel it w/ my toes, but I didn't want him to know that!!] Overall great experience! Came when they said they would, gave me a head's up phone call, and fixed the problem quickly. He even showed me what he was doing and gave me some additional tips. Oh - I asked him how I should clean the leaves/dog hair/etc out of the fins of the outside unit, b/c I'd seen products at the store for this specific purpose, and he said to just clean it with the hose. When I was shutting the back door, I realized he'd cleaned the unit for me, and didn't even pat himself on the back telling me... he just did it. :) read more

For some reason both furnaces went down before a cold front. Air Zone was scheduled through my home warranty at the end of business. I got an appointment that next morning. Roger the tech was courteous and quickly found the problem and replaced the transformers and got my heat going again. I am very pleased with the timely repair to my furnaces. read more

My experience with this company left a lot to be desired. Our home warranty service selected this company to repair some leaking duct work. They showed up on time and were friendly. The guy went up into the attic and sealed up the duct work. This is a new (1950's) house for us and we are remodeling. After a day, I crawled up into the attic to wire some lighting and immediately knew the duct work was leaking badly. The attic was nice and cool. The tech cut a hole in the plenum, which is normal for sealing the ducts in that particular area, but he used regular duct tape and very little mastic to patch the large hole he cut. The only reason this is not a single star review is that the guys came back out and sealed the plenum as they should have in the first place. They seemed to do good work in the end, but it was a hassle to meet them twice for something that should have been done right the first time. read more

My Home Warranty company sent me this company. I wrote a negative review back to them and I will do the same here. Alex was rude and rushing from the day he called. He didn't do any type of test on my AC unit only told me "its running so I cant give you a diagnosis if its running." He claimed it was because the door wasn't on tight so that's why it shuts off. Then told me to call him directly if it happens again. There's the catch the first round they're not fixing anything so he has to come back. I did not call these crooks, my home warranty company sent me a new AC team that fixed the problem in about an hour, they didn't have a problem diagnosing the problem while it was running. But the other AC company actually brought tools in so that is one step more than Alex did. read more

Air Zone was assigned to my service request via my home warranty (Landmark). My A/C started blowing hot air. A little back story, this is the third time that the have come out for the same issue in 9 months. Every time they say it is something different so they can bill Landmark and myself for their service call fee, yet it is the same capacitor or a capacitor related issue with my outside AC unit. I feel they are just throwing parts at it to keep it running unit I have to call my home warranty company again. After three times addressing the same issue I think they should have done a more thorough troubleshooting process to identify the source of the problem. If my home warranty company does nothing, I expect to be replacing multiple $97.50 capacitors all summer. read more

These guys were sent out by my home warranty company. On the first call they were able to get to me on the same day I called. This was great considering it was the middle of June and they are crazy busy. Unfortunately the work performed did not fix the issue and it required a second trip to replace the compressor. Alex does great work but I can only give 3 stars considering I told them that the compressor was the problem during the first trip and I had to wait 9days for a new compressor to arrive from the factory (due to warranty issues). read more
