Call them with a busted AC on a Friday evening and they were able to get somebody out the next day on a Saturday who called me to give me a heads up on their arrival. It took 3 days, in August TX heat, to get a return call from you guys after we contacted our home warranty One Guard. Alex Martinez came out and spent 45min up in my attic just to tell me when he came down- "Oh ya you need a whole new system, you don't have the correct system for your home you need a 5 ton unit for $9,000"......We have a 5 ton unit interior and exterior.....apparently nothing could be done BUT he requested a Zelle payment $225.00 with no estimate or invoice for what was done. A/C was not fixed, still had the same problem.... So we decided to close out our claim and go with people we know and trust....COLD ON THE RIGHT was in my attic for 10min to identify our problem. They flushed the clogged p-trap, found the leak, fixed a loose PVC even though it required a deck saw to get to it, and identified that our upstairs bathroom wasn't draining properly which WAS the cause of our issue...for $391.00. They also installed a Jones Valve, showed how to use it AND cleaned our outside unit for us... our unit wasn't shot, it just took EFFORT to fix it. This is the 4th vendor sent out to us by One Guard who has lied to us...given us false information and insisted on some huge repair or replacement we didn't need. If I could give this company zero stars I would. The first time a technician came out and said it was the capacitor. He "fixed" it but 2 hours later it was hot again. We called him out again and he said it was the fan. He temporarily "fixed" it And said he would be bringing another fan the next day. The fan ran so loud you could hear it two houses down from us. And two hours later it was not working again. We called for a third time. Asking for a different Technician this time. They sent the same technician. He had horrible customer service. He could not communicate with us what he had done or what he had fixed other than naming the item he had fixed. The third time he came out, he said it was the compressor. It was a Sunday and he said he would get the part and somebody would come out Monday to fix it. Monday morning we got an email from the company saying they were no longer going to fix our air conditioner because they did not like the way we had requested a different technician and communicated our disappointment with them. So after three days of no air in JULY on Texas we are having to start from square one and call another company. I would not recommend this company to anyone. What a waste of time! Roger was great!! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. After diagnosing the original problem he stated low airflow is often the cause. He checked the airflow and determined the system had not been adjusted to the proper settings when it was installed. Roger told me the adjustment he made will help prevent the part that burned out from going out again, improve the comfort level inside the home, stop condensation from dripping from the vents as it had been doing, and likely reduce our energy costs. read more

First my AC broke unexpectedly. The first company that came out (recommended by my realtor) said the whole unit needed to be replaced which would have been several thousand dollars. I asked Air Zone for a second opinion and they fixed it for $625! Works like a dream. Then I had to repair the heating system at the buyer's request. Someone recommended a different company to patch up the heater for $890 even though Air Zone recommended a true fix for $4800. Well I went with the patch up job against their recommendation because it was a lot less expensive. The owner of Air Zone literally told me "I won't be able to sleep at night if we do a patch up job." And of course, the patch up work wasn't accepted by the buyers so I called up Air Zone and they beat the quote of the other company to fix it the RIGHT WAY. Not only that, but they came the very next day to get it all done before the final walk through with the buyers!  I have had only amazing experiences with Air Zone from start to finish. Air Zone came out via my home warranty company to unclog a secondary A/C overflow line on a Thursday. Before the technician, Danny, left the house he said "I hope I don't have to see you again soon" and I thought the problem was resolved. The very next day LOTS of water was coming out of the air vent on the first floor. I called Air Zone first thing in the morning and the owner, Alex, said that is normal and it is just "sweating". I said this is not normal and made another claim with my warranty company so they re-sent Air Zone to full fill the request. They came out the same day (Friday) and the same technician Danny said he couldn't find anything and recommended getting my air coils cleaned which would be $650. He left and by Sunday water was bubbling and leaking through the drywall next to the vent in the kitchen that was leaking water. I made another warranty request and emailed Air Zone again saying the problem was not fixed. Air Zone emailed me back and told me to get my air coils cleaned or go get a second opinion from a plumber and refused to return to my house to do any further investigation. After this, I called my plumber to come out the next morning. He opened up the ceiling and pulled out the culprit...a bused A/C condensation line. Air Zone could have come the next day, opened the ceiling, and fixed the issue within an hour. Instead, water leaked from this busted PVC pipe (shown below) for over 6 days and caused over $800 worth of damages! The owner is stubborn and wouldn't take accountability for his technician's mess-up and refused to correct his mistake. I would NEVER recommend them and moving forward I will never let them do work on any of my properties EVER AGAIN. read more

I have a home warranty through Landmark Home warranties (though I will not be renewing after my experience with them, but that is a story for a different company page) Apparently Air Zone is one of the contractors that Landmark uses. My A/C is out completely and my ticket was submitted Wednesday at 3:30 pm. I called the company directly because this is an emergency so I wanted to find out how soon they would be out. I know this yelp page says they work 24/7, but apparently that is complete BS because they told me "well we are coming up on 5pm and we have no OT appointments, our first availability is Friday morning" UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! If I wasn't using my home warranty to cover this, I certainly would not call this company to come out and do any work at my home, and I am currently calling the warranty company to tell them they need to bounce this call to another more responsive contractor Update: I have to blame most of this issue on Landmark home warranty. This is summer, so most HvAC companies will be busy, and it is the warranty that won't pay for the company to come out in OT. In fact Landmark won't even guarantee next day service. Both techs that came out from airline were polite, helpful, and knowledgable, and once I could get them out to my house, everything went very smoothly. I moved into a recently refurbished condo in March 2023 with a brand new Goodman furnace and AC unit. The AC unit was drawing too many amps and needed a hard start kit. Your team originally came out and found we needed a new coil and circuit board for a chronic problem we were having, but we had to go through a different company due to home warranty and it took DAYS. They finally came and reconnectected the outside unit (a band aid from your company until it could get fixed), NEVER went in the attic to diagnose, and said it looked to be cooling... Lo and behold they found nothing wrong AND the temp was still rising. After putting up a fight we were able to get yall back out. Your company cam through within a day of finding our and fixed us up. Without a doubt one of the smoothest, easiest experiences with an HVAC vendor we've ever had. They were contracted through our home warranty company and Manny, the person we spoke to at the company, couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. Issue occurred over a weekend and they were prepared to come immediately the following Monday. This is a rather fast turnaround for a vendor working through a home warranty company. There was some additional urgency so, for a small surcharge, they were actually able to put us on emergency service and came out same day.
