I love how they give you break times in between and allow you to pay the day of (in case you would like to cut the play time shorter). After the event, Mike gave me a follow up call to ask how everything went, which I thought was sweet. FYI: Mike told me 10 minutes in a bubble is equivalent to 1 hour of working out...I thought he was lying, but my oh my... HE WAS NOT LYING LOL. My group and I were sweating in the 64 degree weather after playing for only 5 minutes. BE PREPARED TO BE SORE FOR THE NEXT 2-3 days. We definitely felt more sore than we would at the gym. A group of friends gathered in Irvine with a Groupon deal. We are all newbies but there was a lot of knocking people over and some occasional scoring. I tried very hard to only hit guys my size because I didn't want to be the one knocking over girls half my size. It was a lot of fun but by 4th quarter the gloves were off and everyone started a hitting frenzy. I say this sport is semi safe because I did manage to get injured. I planted my knee wrong when trying to change directions and I yelled ouch. I tried to walk it off and got a nice love tap and fell on the ground for a good minute.
