1 Very disappointing experience at Airdrie Honda (April 27, 2026). We visited for a simple test drive. The sales associate, Sahil Shaikh, initially demanded a credit card and refused the test drive. This requirement was not explained properly and felt unreasonable. We then asked for the manager's permission. After the manager's approval, we were informed that a credit card was NOT actually required for the test drive. Despite this, Mr. Sahil Shaikh continued to behave rudely and was unprofessional in his communication. Because of his attitude, we decided not to proceed with the test drive at all. We are already Honda customers (purchased a Honda Civic Hybrid from T&T Honda in March 2026), so we expected a better and more respectful experience. Overall, very poor customer handling from the sales associate. Not recommended based on this experience. read more

Dishonest dealership- read all the negative reviews before proceeding. They are pretty accurate to my experience. They negotiated in bad faith, increasing the agreed upon interest rate at the last minute. They also tried to charge $3000 for a 4 way package that I had declined and had been documented from the start.This amount was on my bill, I assume in hopes I wouldn't notice. Terrible experience with this dealership. I would HIGHLY recommend looking elsewhere for a new or used vehicle. I bought a 2019 Toyota 4Runner and before I even made it home, the tire pressure light starts blinking. Didn't think much of it until I realize the tires are full. I then speak to my salesperson (Alana) who tells me they are going to charge me to have a look at it LOL. She then proceeds to tell me that "it's a 4Runner thing" and is completely normal. It's a small issue that really has no effect on the vehicle, but is very telling of how they treat their customers. They also promised to fix a scratch on the front, then called me to pick it up with nothing even done. Apparently the body shops "were all backed up because of the hailstorm" and she couldn't get me an appointment. Magically a spot opened up when I told them I wouldn't finalize anything till it was fixed. Another scam tactic, trying to take advantage wherever possible. Avoid this place, they do not value their customers. There are tons of Honda dealers around, I will be avoiding the goauto dealer group moving forward. read more

I feel really let down by a recent experience I had at Airdrie Honda. I had a service booked for 9am for an oil change and transmission service, but when I dropped my car off I was told it would be a 6-7 hour wait. Typically this has only taken about 2 hours in the past, so I ended up leaving without the service being performed. I live in south Calgary, and for several years I've taken the time to drive to Airdrie Honda because of the outstanding and (formerly) punctual service they provided when compared to other dealerships in Calgary. I won't be doing this anymore because I value my time, and I can't wait around for the better part of a day to have a simple service performed on my vehicle during my only day off. Anyway, I don't see the purpose of making an appointment if the intention is to keep my car for the whole day. Thanks for wasting my time Airdrie Honda, I won't be coming back read more

In my 20 years of driving, I've had great experiences at dealerships and terrible ones. Airdrie Honda definitely falls toward the bottom of the list. My Honda is an overall good car, but I'm disappointed at the quality for certain things. More on the car at the end. The dealer though doesn't have the staff or staff experience to provide minimally good service. They don't answer their phones and if you leave a message it will be many hours (5 for me) before they return your call. So I went in because I had a safety concern and the guy at the customer service desk seemed lost and confused about how the service process worked. He settled on me making an appointment so I could come back so that they could diagnose the issue, which would take several hours, minimum, and then I'd bring it in a third time for a repair after ordering parts, which would take at least a week for parts order, then another full day at least for the actual repair. This might be acceptable for a major repair, but my repair is apparently two little pieces of plastic: The gas cap cover had cheap plastic pieces that broke so that the flap was stuck closed; I had to pry open and break the plastic pieces inside, destroying the assembly mechanism underneath, just so I could get gas. Now it has to be pried open with a credit card. The second issue was a cheap piece of plastic on the undercarriage that started hanging off the bottom of the car after going over a speed bump. It's a 2022 civic, so it's low, but it should be designed to handle everyday driving over speed bumps and grades coming in and out of business parking lots. Apparently not. But, it's a civic, so that being understood, I would expect a tech with the minimum amount of experience or at least basic training could assess in 15-20 minutes both broken bits of plastic and know or be able to look up the required parts and order them for me. This is apparently beyond Airdrie Hondas abilities. I offered to stick around for a few hours until a tech was available to take a look so we could identify the parts, but no, it could have been many hours before they could get to me. Also no shuttle service was available for me to leave the car there. I don't see another Honda dealership nearby with good reviews so this appears to be a race to the bottom scenario. Apparently essential services in Canada are allowed to be garbage because they're needed so people just have to tolerate bad service. What a waste of time/money/patience. Update: I ended up going to a Honda dealership in the states and the experience put a finer point on the failings of Calgary area Honda dealerships. I called south Tacoma Honda, and they answered right away. They had an appointment in 1.5 hours for an oil change and diagnostic on the parts, which would be free. They said when I got there that even if they didn't have the parts they would drive them up from the depot overnight and install them in the morning if necessary. They called and paid for an Uber for me back to my hotel. I got a call 1.5 hours later that the parts were on their way and I could pick up the car first thing in the morning. The repairs were covered under warranty. They called and paid for an Uber for me in the morning back to the dealer. I paid for the oil change and my car was completely fixed, washed, and vacuumed. Look, this is what a customer should be able to expect. This kind of experience generates brand loyalty. Airdrie and Village Honda in Calgary very nearly had me thinking about ditching the Honda and Honda brand. read more

I can not say enough about the care and service I received from Service Manager Ziad Elcheika at Airdie Honda. He went above and beyond for me when I stopped in with my 2018 American Honda CRV which had excessive tire wear. Despite Honda USA not taking responsibility for the issue, simply telling me to contact the tire manufacturer; Ziad found a Service Bulletin that addressed the issue, set me up with a set of Winter Tires to get me back to Florida safely, and has even held onto my worn out tires as proof when I get home to further address the warranty issue. What a kind, honest, knowledgeable man. Thank you so much! read more

The most dishonest dealership we've ever dealt with. My son needed new break pads and he was quoted a price and yet when we went to pick up his car they charged him more then double he was expecting. We could have got them way cheaper at the local mechanic. Totally took advantage of a kid who thought people were honest. We have been taking this car to Airdrie Honda since we purchased it in 2007. They have seen a ton of service dollars from our wallet but today was THE LAST DOLLAR they will ever see. And to think we have 2 Acura's that we were going to start servicing with them...haha ...not in this lifetime. read more

DO NOT MAKE A DEAL WITH MIKE TY !! (Sales Manager or whatsoever) Absolutely not the most accommodating sales guy i have ever met. Tone of his voice has a bit sense of arrogance towards a potential buyer and didn't even showed a will to please a customer. Shame for honda they have this kind of guy in sales. STORY: I went there cause i was asked if i'd interested to trade my civic 2k16 for a newer one with a VERY interesting deal.Not on my mind right now but i booked an appointment still so i can hear what they have to offer.Jodi welcomed me since linsay wasn't there,(linsay was the one called me for this appointment)Jodi, said by her is new to honda w/c i dont mind but did everything she could for a potential buyer.She tried to know me and my honda as well as what i want if im going get a new one.She was very gentle and sweet.We went for a test drive and went everything great till this guy MIKE takes over to give numbers and value for the trade. The price and value wasn't the value i was expecting and i didn't even know if it matches what they're initially offering through email and phone call w/linsay but what upsets me the most is this MIKE and his UNPLEASANT AND COLD BLOODED TREATMENT towards a potential buyer.He was not the guy he supposed to be in that scenario.He's not the guy you'd wanna get you your new wheels or anything it concerns it. I took our Acura in to have a "SRS" light checked. I was told that it just needed to be reset. Cost $130.00. Oh well. 2 days later the light came back on. Bought my car here which was ok. Found out I got much less of a good deal than I thought I did after all the additional costs got added on. I suppose that's par for the course when buying a car. I got a couple free oil changes out of the deal which I've appreciated but in my most recent maintenance dealings I was charged 2 and 1/2 times the quoted fee for the work that was done. That would be fine if the labour was unexpectedly more difficult or some such thing but that wasn't the case here. The exact fee was quoted upon drop off and then greatly inflated upon payment. I can't say I was terribly impressed. And this was after talking them out of a needless $125 diagnostic fee. Also, (and there's a chance this could have been my fault) my appointment was mis-scheduled for a time when I was unavailable, so when I showed up with my car I wasn't booked in. They made it work which was good on them, but I felt like the whole exchange was a bit of a headache and left me feeling less than satisfied. read more
