They still charged me almost $60 for just that. Good luck in your decision if you want to use this shop. They want repeat customers...in a negative way for me at least. Upon inspection, they noticed a slide pin had not been properly lubricated and the brake pads got stuck in one position damaging several parts including the alloy wheel. Here is where it gets good. The mechanic said they refused to warranty it because and I quote "There is no way my service tech forgot to lubricate this" they charged me for the inspection But wait it gets better. I asked them to price out the parts to fix it, an hour later I hear back and they want 850 dollars using aftermarket parts. I priced the parts on the NAPA website and they came to 325 dollars. Will never use this garage again, after spending thousands of dollars on several cars they have the audacity to treat a good customer like this. Never again

Every time I have a flat and need a tire repair, they've always gotten me in right away and gotten it fixed immediately. Sometimes at no-charge even! My most recent experience was today. On Saturday I got a flat tire in Madden, AB and had to get AMA to come change my tire. I tried to get into Canadian Tire to have them fix it, and they told me the hole was "Too big for the plug" and that I needed to buy a new tire. And they were going to charge me a fortune for it because I have 17" low-profile tires. I took it in to Don this morning and he had a look at it and was able to fix it. I ALWAYS recommend OK tire to my friends and colleagues when they ask me where a good place to buy tires is. Even if they live in Calgary, the quality of service is well worth it.

Background on the Civic: I was having it serviced exclusively at W & B along with changing the oil myself. I started getting an occasional odd misfire when accelerating at low RPM. They changed some electrical components and it seemed fixed (or at least greatly improved) for a couple months, but then returned badly. After that they couldn't fix it. I went to another shop in frustration and they couldn't fix it either. I ended up trading in for a new car, even though the Civic had another 5-10 years left in it if that issue was fixed.

My car is a Mitsubishi Endeavor 2007 so when my brakes did not work properly I request to Jay an estimation for rear and front brakes they answer to me and I made an appointment. Shortly after I left the car to the shop Jay called me with a good news you have left on your car about 2 years so is not a time to replace them. Honestly I was shocked by Jay's honesty and I ask him to check the brake fluid or some leaks somewhere and he replaced the fluid and charge me labour for one hour. So far so good the car is ok now and I want to thank to Jay and Andreea for their nice job.

Got a coupon on back of my Safeway receipt for an oil change $39.99 so I called to make sure I didn't need an appointment. Went over one Tuesday afternoon. They said they could fit me in within the hour and it would take another hour to do the oil change. I parked my butt on the chair in the waiting room hoping they would get my vehicle in sooner rather than later but no such luck. It was 5 minutes before the hour before they brought my van into the shop to start. In the meantime, I had a coffee and read on my iPad. They asked if I wanted the air filter changed too and I said Yes. That was the beginning of the end. They said it was coming over from Napa and that was what they were waiting for. And waiting. And waiting. I was getting rather annoyed that the oil change was done but we were still waiting for the stupid air filter. I got on the phone and called Napa myself and they said they didn't have an order for it. Turns out they ordered it from Princess Auto. At this point, I'd had enough and said just put the old one back in and I want to get out of here. Waiting for almost half an hour for nothing was not working for me. I went up to pay and it was over $50. What a crock of shit. They charge $3 just to top off the fluids. Seriously? They should give me the whole damn jug of washer fluid if that's what it costs. It wasn't even low but that's how they make their money. It wasn't worth the time or effort to go here. I recently purchased a truck from this dealership, and my experience has been incredibly frustrating. The truck was supposedly subjected to a "full 180-point inspection," covering critical components like the engine, transmission, suspension, and exhaust system. However, shortly after purchase, I noticed significant transmission issues, including harsh shifting, which should have been caught during this inspection. I was later advised that the issue stems from engine oil leaks caused by the VCT solenoid seals, a problem that's well-known with this model. These issues should have been identified before selling me the truck. To make matters worse, I was never informed about the low tire tread (4/32), and now I've been advised I need new tires soon. The dealership should have flagged this during their supposed "full inspection." Additionally, my husband was double-charged $6,000 for an extended warranty on his truck, and it took us weeks to get a hold of anyone at the dealership to resolve the issue. It was an incredibly stressful process that shouldn't have happened. But the most concerning part? His truck also had a loose steering wheel, a safety hazard that almost caused a serious accident on the highway. This issue was never flagged during the supposed inspection either. After hearing about the truck's "thorough inspection," it's hard to believe no one noticed these major safety issues. To add to my frustration, I took my truck to another dealership for maintenance and was informed that I need to consent to a transmission overhaul just to have techs take pictures of the transmission when it's taken apart and send them to the warranty provider for approval of the repair cost. If the repair cost is not approved, I'll still be left with a $1,900 bill just to put the transmission back together. If the overhaul is not approved, I'll face a $10,000 cost for the transmission repair, despite the issue stemming from the VCT solenoid seals, a problem that should have been caught in the inspection. I feel deceived, especially considering the dealership assured us that the trucks had undergone thorough inspections. These problems, especially the safety hazard in my husband's truck and the transmission issue in mine, should have been identified and addressed before selling us these vehicles. We trusted this dealership to be upfront and transparent, but instead, we've been left dealing with costly repairs and severe safety concerns. For a dealership that claims to provide quality inspections, the oversight of such major issues is inexcusable.
