This is the second time I worked with Anne. She is fast, clean, efficient and boy does the electrolysis work wonders. While I'm not a match for most cosmetic improvements, I draw the line at aging gracefully when it comes to white chin whiskers. Billy goat is NOT a look I can live with easily. So here comes Anne. She did the left side when it sprouted a couple short hairs, then I went back when the right side tried it. I think they know they will be short lived, so hopefully no more make their appearance. I ended up switching to a different establishment due to insurance coverage, but I'd still recommend her to anyone needing electrolysis services. I met Anne Hannick through her advertisement on the yelp to seek hair cut and blow dry services. I arrived at my appointment on time and she did not even greet me. There was a sign on the door to enter the house and wait. I waited in this strange living room space that had dogs walking around and the area was covered in dog hair. She made me wait for 30 minutes and not once apologized for it. As time came to be serviced I saw the work station and the combs she was going to work with and became completely repulsed. There was no YELP when I began going to Aire-Lite Electrolysis 20 years ago. However, it is never too late to congratulate Anne on her many years of outstanding electrolysis, skin care and amazing hair styling: (color, highlights, cuts and styles). When I first began going to Aire-Lite Electrolysis, I was so impressed with Anne's meticulous skill and care at hair removal,( blonde hair) tricky and usually skin is fair. However, whenever I left her house, I never looked or felt, like I just finished electrolysis. Besides the amazing and reasonably priced electrolysis, she can "color" and "highlight" and cut hair like the best of them. A few days ago, I went in and had 30 minutes of electrolysis in between color application, highlights and a gorgeous cut. While chatting away my problems, this Wonder Woman, managed to make me leave feeling beautiful. Hair completely done, color, cut, highlights and electrolysis in a few hours. Anne is the most amazing, caring, capable, competent electrologist in Los Angeles. I have gone to others and this is simply my opinion. I received a free consultation with Ann and not only did she explain the process she also did sample session on me to see my skins reaction to it and test my discomfort threshold. Her demo made me feel at ease. I went back the next day for a full session. Anne has made a huge difference in my life. Her expertise in electrolysis and skin care has made the process of removing unwanted facial hair the best experience as possible. I have been struggling for years to get rid of unwanted facial hair, after a hormonal disorder about 12 years ago, and have tried everything from tweezing, shaving, and multiple laser treatments, with no success. Tired of shaving everyday, (sometimes twice a day!) I decided to give electrolysis a shot even though I was a little skeptical that anything could make a difference at this point. I have been seeing Anne for over two years for electrolysis and other beauty procedures as needed. She is extremely respectful, kind, caring and attentive to any of your needs/wants and will help address any problem you have with yourself. I'm really perturbed to see the below nonsensical and erratic review...as a REAL client I can tell you first hand she follows all the standard protocols as an esthetician. Nothing is ever "re-used" or "unsanitary", that is a complete and utter joke to me when over the years I've learned she has taught classes at a college and has a salon. Before covid her studio was always sanitized and now it is obviously enhanced-sanitized. Someone who has a reputable business and salon doesn't just disregard health codes or proper ethical practices. Anyway I am 100% a real client, I was not asked to do this, paid or arranged or anything stupid like that- I have gotten to know Anne with each zap of a hair follicle and I would never ever pay or associate with anyone I thought was "unsafe" or not good. I've been to a few places for electrolysis before here. Anne's work was the most effective, and I could actually see progress, despite the patience required for electrolysis. She also works at a good pace; some people will take extended pauses between hairs, pretending to work. The price is quite nice too. While she works from a house, the area where she works is kept professionally dedicated to her work, and she handles her schedule equally professionally, with few interruptions. I felt able to place my trust in someone who told me some details about how electrolysis works, explaining why I should come in while the hair was still growing but that I could shave.
