There was a fishing reel that I wanted and it appeared Kailua store sold the last one so I decided to head out to Kapolei the next day. There was a sales associate named Chels who greeted us as we entered the store and helped us. When she could not find the reel because they were all sold out, she asked Kiana to help us. Kiana told me that they do not have any but will check Kailua. I told Kiana that I was there yesterday and they don't have any. Kiana called Kailua and asked them to do a visual and Kailua found that there were 3. Kiana asked Kailua store to hold one for me to pick up. I went to Kailua and bought 2 reels when I was intending to buy only one. I also bought a folding cot at the Kapolei store. When I picked up my reels at customer service in Kailua, I saw that they had a zippo lighter for sale. My son told me his zippo lighter required a special lighter fluid. The nice women in customer service told me it doesn't really have to be Zippo and I could use Ronson so I bought a can of Ronson and a torch lighter at Customer Service. I am leaving this review because of the excellent customer service at both stores and the great hardworking employees that go out of their way to help you. They are professional, knowledgable, and friendly. Kiana and Chels really made me happy and this review is mainly for them and the customer sevice sales associates in customer service at the Kailua Store.

Then we looked in the clearance section and it wasn't there. And then we looked in the last known place on her zebra where it was last and the date said Dec 28z The inventory was wrong and it said Negative two but in my app it said six in stock. Since forever I like to do craft and with places like Lowe's it's taken to the next level that I couldn't imagine like my Dremel...as I used to go to my secret spot to find shells I do use them for various project that requires for me to drill holes into them and some craft places do have drills but it's for basic simple items not the hard and sometimes thick shells we have here in Hawai'i. They do have an app that really helps me to find what I'm looking for without driving to multiple locations or asking customer service to check for me is the convenience that's more than amazing. On this visit they did have an item that I've been searching for quite awhile that only they have and had it in stock...thankfully and if it's that important I'd recommend that you do purchase them online for a store pick up which is completely free and does secure the items as well. This Waikele Shopping location is nice as they lots and lots of free parking which is just steps away from their doors though is massive but the staff is very helpful and friendly that has me getting on my way just as fast as I ordered it. We were greeted and told it would be faster if we take ourselves and grab the new item then come back to do the exchange. We did that, then were told at the register by the same worker, that the item was not eligible for an exchange due to it not being purchased and returned within 48 HOURS. We bought it 1 week ago, brought it back in original packaging and with the receipt. What's the issue?? She called her manager MARIA to assist and possible get an override. We waited some time for MARIA to show up, and at this point we had a long line behind us. When MARIA showed up, she disregarded the customer in line including myself and husband. She spoke very disrespectfully to the other worker and asked if she could use a register. Which then she logged on and said "what's wrong with this one" in a rude tone. She did not help assist, and visibly looked like she hated her job and did not want to be there. In my opinion? You can leave sis. Don't show up to work in customer service everyday if you obviously hate your job. We were told we need to go through the manufacturer themselves and get the "approval" before we can come back and get our item reissued. This is bullshit lol and the workers here are a legitimate joke. For future customers? I would stick to city mill and Home Depot. You'll get top of the line service at other companies with the same quality of product.

The other hardware stores did not carry Sherwin-Williams paint and I found out that there was a S-W Paint Store in Kapolei. This store is tucked away in the Kalaeloa Industrial Center of Kapolei and next to a Bikram Yoga Studio. All I had were the names of the colors and was easily overwhelmed trying to find the particular paint swatch. I figured it would be easier to ask CASEY (the only employee in the store at that time) to help me find it. He took down the names and quickly tracked them down and gave me the paint "swatches" in a very quick manner! No waiting at all! He was so thorough and courteous! I even had him looking for a color that I was certain was a Sherwin-Williams brand only to find out that it was a Benjamin Moore product. When asking about how effective those apps are that give you an idea of how a color will look in your room is he informed me that colors change throughout the day, depending on how the sun or lack of it hits a room and hence, that app is probably not the best way to decide on a paint color. He suggested buying the smallest size paint and having them tint it to my specifics (the paint was only $7-8.00 a can) and then applying that color onto the wall in a medium size patch and see how I liked it at different times of the day. Great advice!! I made the "mistake" of painting a wall in my house three years ago without a sample paint and I haven't been happy with it since then. Hubby isn't thrilled either since I'm asking him to re-paint that wall again. Either that or go with one of Sherwin-Williams's preferred contractors (listed in their showroom). Either way, I'm pretty sure I've narrowed down my color choice down to 3-4 colors and I'm a ba-zillion percent sure that THAT is the right color. Again, SUPER GREAT customer service from Casey!!

Way…read moreback in the day hearing about Walmart I was excited as it was to open down the road from my bestie in Ewa...well demographics says Waipahu though getting there you take the Kunia exit...shrug! This more slightly hidden location that you may need to rely on google and though it's probably more nostalgic this location has a special place in my heart that's tied to my late bestie it's my favorite store with lots of parking and is very clean and organized with the friendliest staff. Found parking just steps away from the door walking I seeing the latest Spam collection including the on for Hawaii and Korean BBQ...so cool! Everything is very nice and there no craziness here with McDonalds and many other services here including a bathroom I apologize it took me forever to make a reviewing here. Thank you!
