The prices were competitive with Home Depot, but still a little higher. At the checkout the yard worker was there and he was acting angry about my order. I said "is there a problem with my order?" He responded with anger and said "do I have a frickin choice?" I told him I would load it up myself and he didn't have to worry about it. It was 3:30pm, not 3:55 right before close or something. When I was backing my truck up I could see him angrily ranting to his coworker. When I got out he just said "open the back of your truck...." Choosing to order me around instead of interact with me like a costumer. It took less than 5 minutes for me and the two workers to load the blocks. The unprovoked rudeness has made sure I'll never spend another dollar at Hardware Hawaii. Unless you enjoy being treated badly, spend your money at Home Depot.

Today it was a simple just some acetone as I wanted to wipe off paint and the basic store bought stuff just won't do it and as small as this shop seems to be they do have it all and was very easy to find than the larger ones as it literally took me a minute to find it and a minute to reach to the register without a wait and was on my way faster than taking the needed pics to show off this great Kailua location. If needed staff is very easy to find here but as I knew exactly what I wanted it was okay and parking in the back is spacious with short walks to the automatic doors is just nice to have a quick spot to find exactly what you need without being lost as I finished my project so easily. She directed me to the self checkout at the front of the store to purchase and pick up. I keep asking to speak to a human being or customer service person and I wait on the phone for over 10 minutes and nobody answers the phone. I literally had to drive down to the store and asked them if the cutting machine was working, which they replied no. They said I can take it down to the honolulu store and get it cut. Sign ups open the 1st Saturday of the month for the next month and are usually full within a couple days. What you get: a free kid sized Home Depot apron (just like the workers wear!), a wooden toy to put together, instructions, a commemorative pin, and a little certificate of completion. They have paint and hammers out to paint and put together the craft. We've been coming for over a year and we absolutely love it! We especially love when they have vehicles like planes, construction vehicles, and emergency vehicles! We also love functional toys like piggy banks and trinket holders!
