I needed some help with my 1966 Bultaco Mercurio. it's a project that has been sitting around for years, and I was tired of seeing it sit. I called multiple motorcycle shops around town, and no-one would touch it. I called Andre, and he said he was interested. I went by the shop and showed him some pics, and even though he had never worked on one before, he took the project on. This was no small task. A complete restoration of a motorcycle he was unfamiliar with. Yet - Andre took the project on. I got the bike back yesterday. I love it. Andre did an excellent job. Besides completely re-doing the wiring harness, Andre converted the 6 V electrical system to 12 V, re-bored the cylinder to the 3rd overbore, and got the really strange brake light system to work. He is now the Bultaco expert of Houston. I'm so happy I found his shop, and would not hesitate to take another bike to him. read more

Never have I seen incompetence at such a high level. Took my ride in to have the rear fender installed( after market fender ) and to have wiring hooked up to brake & taillight. This durfwad said he spent 6 hours working on my bike, and charged $380.00. Now the cruxt of it: He places the wiring in a old piece of rubber tube ( old & rotted ) with this tube of wiring hanging out the side of the fender against the rear wheel. Initially when he said the bike was ready, the brake and turn signals worked, and then Andre(owner) said I needed to glue the rubber hose holding the wiring to the fender. Excuse me, did I hear wrong. I just paid out $380.00 to have the job done correctly by a so called reputable mechanic and I supposedly need to break out the crazy glue and finish the job. Said mechanic was to do the work correctly the first time. My friend Eric rides my bike back to my home a distance of 11.9 miles. Arriving home the rubber wiring hose is hanging out the side of the fender against the tire, all wires exposed. Right turn signal indicator light (does not work ) stays constant, I called Andre back, his reply spray WD40 in switch, [ doesn't do it ] still hung up. I considered taking my bike back and I asked him what were you thinking when you placed wiring in a piece of rotted rubber hose, and in no way did you have the foresight to do the work correctly. If Yelp had a minus five stars that is what I would click.it pains me to click one star. " RUN " from this business, there are many qualified shops, I made the mistake of finding the most incompetent one. read more

Be ready to spend sh#tloads of $$$. Guy had the bike over a week. Paid $75 upfront 1st hr to diagnose a bad CDI unit & got me an aftermarket version for $350 (as upposed 2 $621). The called me over to shop to tell me that now it needs another pickup coil which will run $95 + $18(gasket) + $240 in labor during which he admitted alot of coils come bad still in the box. Long story short, i was out $558 & the bike still doesnt run. BUYER BEWARE. read more
