This is by far the BEST shop in Houston or Texas for anything Motorcycle related!!! The owner Patrick and his team did an amazing job and went above and beyond building my custom bobber. ***I brought them a 96' Kawasaki Vulcan Classic 800 bobber that I first bought from a horrible shop in Houston called Houston Retro Bobbers (The worst shop and Adrian Introgen is the worst piece of scum on earth). HRB gave me a bike that took them over a year to put together AND after 2 weeks had tons of leaks and stopped working.** SO....I brought the bike to Patrick and Motorcycles Unlimited and they got it all fixed and replaced and repaired everything on the bike plus more. Then I wanted to do special mods and do a complete makeover on the bike and Patrick worked with me on every detail of this bike down to the bolts and washers. This bike is now completely CUSTOM and ONE OF A KIND!! I just picked up the bike today and I honestly could not be happier. Brought my bike here just to have a problem diagnosed based on a recommendation of a friend. They quoted 3-5 days. I heard nothing for 11 then called them. They said they were starting it then. Got a call in an hour that said I would need to replace almost every component of the fuel and electrical systems. I picked my bike up only to realize I got home with no battery. Came back to get it and the owner gave me the wrong battery and proceeded to argue with me about it. He said "it's labeled so it must be yours." He was the one who labeled it. Stole a good battery from me and replaced it with dirty garbage. read more

I've spent thousands on service and performance parts here over the course of about 3 years. This is a bike shop run by Motorcycle aficionados. Good deals to be had. Quality service and knowledge. And honesty and integrity when doing business. Can't ask for much more! These guys made a couple of efforts to get set up with a fairly obscure manufacturer as a dealer for their parts, just because I had my heart set on an exhaust they had. I was looking to get my bike lowered and received quotes from a few spots. Moto Unlimited price was the best and they were very detailed in explaining how they would carry out the process. We ordered the part, which only took 1 business day to come in (who doesn't love close to instant gratification? I know I do). I brought the bike in, they unloaded it from my truck and rolled it inside. Didn't take long to complete especially with all that it took to shorten the kickstand. A couple hours and they were calling me to pick it up. We chatted a bit, they loaded it back on the truck, and I was on my merry way back to Katy. This place is a TOTAL rip off came in to bleed brakes they state maybe 80 dollars then upon leaving charge 240 dollars for them telling a few things were wrong but not fixing anything!!! Brakes are worse then when brought in if I could give a negative star I would pieces of shit! read more

I came here for help with the suspension on my 2015 Yamaha FJ 09...it was bucking me like a horse...the first thing they did was to identify a dangerous condition that I had created by trying to adjust the rear shock on my own...I had managed to partially dislodge the retaining clip at the bottom of the rear shock...ouch...they fixed that and then determined that the spring on my AJ Foyt rear shock was for a much lighter person...so, they ordered me the correct weight spring and installed that...then fine-tuned (adjusted) the front and back shocks to my riding style (just a sport cruiser, no track days)... at all times they were very courteous, friendly, and competent...it's a small place and you can see your bike being worked on...all questions cheerfully answered...I would go back to them again...my only problem is that I live down in central Houston, so it's a drive...but don't let that deter you if you want good service at a fair price... read more

I have been an occasional customer for close to a decade now. I have made 3 accessory/gear purchases and one service call to this business. I would have slightly more but it's a long distance from my home. I had a suspension setup service done by the crew at M-U. This involves setting suspension settings (where adjustable) to suit my weight, the bike and style of riding I do. It took about 40 minutes total in and out time, and I had to be present for much of it as I was required to sit on the bike so they could take measurements. The result was probably the single biggest performance improvement on the CBR 600 that I rode at the time. I had already upgraded the forks due to be heavier, but having the suspension set correctly made a bigger difference. The accessory purchases have included helmets, gloves, pants, and jackets for myself and my wife. They do have limited stock on hand, basics only, but the staff has a very good idea on measurements and eyeballing you to get the right stuff. We have had them measure and order almost every time and they got it right without having an exchange or re-order needed. Definitely will be buying more gear there, and their pricing is competitive imo. The single biggest weakness is their location. I live north of Houston and frankly it is a pain to get to. Especially being on 1960 and the traffic hell there. I wish they were closer to the freeway, but they have a location where they are known and I can't imagine it being easy to up and move after so many years. That all being said I highly recommend at least shopping them, they always seem to have a decent selection of used bikes, they stay on top of the safety game and keep current safe stuff on hand rather than focusing solely on style. read more

I spoke with Thomas got a quote of 130 plus 50 balancimg fee for a 200 tire on a busa. I sent the person over and the price then changed to 139 plus 50 for 200 tire on a buse. Thomas claims he didnt tell me the initial price but he did and he actually did twice. I was so embarassed because i highly recommended them to this person. I WILL NEVER EVER DO IT AGAIN. THOMAS IS A LIAR AND A MANIPULATOR. ITS NOT ABOUT THE $9 difference its about not owning up if he actually misquoted. The person i sent overs was also gonna get an oil change but needless to say he did not and hopefully he's not upset with me for what i consider the worst referrel ever. very disappointed and ashamed myself nor any of my motorcycle group members will ever use their services again. I bought a 696 Ducati Monster with clip on handle bars which I wanted exchanged for something like the original handle bars. This bike was also leaking a lite bit of oil. My husband took is Harley there to have the brakes changed, when he picked his bike up he notice his shifter peg was broken he pointed this out to the older guy with the beard and the guy was so rude and denied they broke it, as we know if the peg was broke before my husband brought the bike there , he would had to take it there on a wrecker truck and they would have notice it then because they were the one to take the bike inside to fix it. When I asked for assistance getting fitted, he asked me immediately if I was planning on buying today or if I just wanted to use him to get a measurement then go buy one on the internet. I responded that I wanted to get fitted & if they had one that I liked I would pick it up there. He again asked me if I was going to buy one today & if I had the money with me, I thought it was a strange question to ask so I reiterated that if they had one that fit & that I liked that I would purchase it there. He then asked me what type of helmet I wanted so I told him a full face helmet, he then asked me what color I was looking for & I told him preferably a white one. He said that they didn't have any white helmets then went back to his computer & left me standing there with no offer to help me get fitted or offer options. read more
