This place is bad buisness. These fucking guy's don't know what the fuck they doing. I usually go to Prstg to buy,sale and trade some of my kicks. This time around I went this past Monday. I totally forgot that they are closed on Monday's so instead of waiting I realized that there was another sneaker/consignment shop that opened up down the street which was these guy's. I brought in 10 pairs of my kicks with two of them being dead-stock. I came in with a pair of space jams, win like 82's, bred 13's, cool grey 10's, concords, Yeezy butters, Yeezy zebras, wheat up tempos, 6 rings, and the last pair were spizikes. They only accepted all of my sneakers except the 6 rings and the spizikes. I kinda figured they wouldn't take those two pairs. Out of the 8 pairs the two that were dead stock were the zebras and concords. Anyway the guy at the front desk his name was Chris. His name specifically for some reason I still remember check all of my sneakers and accepted it. They wrote me a check ((strike 1)with out taking any of my information down)$935 for all 8 pairs. So I accepted their offer, took the check and left. I was supposed to cash it at the bank they use which was bank of America but it was already after 5pm and the bank was closed so I waited till the next day. (More issues) Next day comes after work I go straight to Bank of America to cash it and the teller tells me that I need to go back and get another check? I asked myself why? Then I thought to myself maybe I can just go to my bank which is chase and cash it there so I did. As I was depositing the check something told got me thinking about the check bouncing so I asked the teller if the check was to bounce would I be charge with a fee she told me Yes and told me to call(Strike 2) and check with the people that wrote the check to confirm so I did. I spoke to the guy that runs this place and he told me that we placed a hold on the check because one of the customers that came into their shop said that they saw something off with one of my pairs of sneakers and they didn't take any of my information down so they couldn't get a hold of me thats why they put a hold on the check(So basically I would been charged with a bounced fee because of something they did on their part was pissed at this point) (Strike 3) He then asked me where did I buy my shoes? as if I've sold them fake shit? I told him I get all my shit from the snkrs app and yeezy supply I got not all but some of my receipt/transactions on my paypal then he apologized and asked me to come back down to take a look at one of my pairs. (I'm so heated at this point)So I did. When I got their all the shoes they got from me was all laid out on their counter with some kid comparing my shit to theirs and ended up giving me 5 of my pairs back explaining that they can't chance the deal we agreed to(I thought all sales were final and your fucking guy's checked it before they accepted it how the fuck do you do business like that)Fuck these guy's) Then I asked them about the other 3 sneakers? They said they gotta cash me out for them because they sold it(the fuck you mean you sold it?) The 3 they kept were the space jams that they ended up selling before calling me, my cool grey 10's and wheat up tempos.(For all I know they coulda sold them for more and made a profit off them and then paid me with a low ass price of $195!) So I was so over it I took the check of $195 and dipped thank God Prstg was open because it was a Tuesday. I brought the 5 kicks that These guy's at Airloom said were fake and my homies over at Prstg copped all of them. Karma is a bitch and just watch the power of social media because once the news get out to the sneaker community find out the only hear yall's gonna sell is the heat when yall feel from your business going down hill. I love supporting small businesses but yall took advantage of me So whoever reads this yall need to drive past this place and go straight to the number 1 and only best sneaker shop on the island. Been here a few times, nothing special that stood out to me each time. They also don't answer the phone which is annoying. First time I came was a few months ago with my cousin. We both didn't buy anything , shoes are way over priced compared to goat and stock x which is understandable. But I wouldn't be surprised if they sit on the shelves for months on months. This place could be a lot more poppin but I feel like it's just an overhyped store right now. Employees don't really have any customer service skills.. First time I came in before was a whole shit show we probably stayed for 5 min before leaving. This time was ok cause the store was empty. Came to sell a few pairs of shoes and they low ball like crazy, they just tryna get they money which again is understandable but they was pretty much offering little to nothing. They also don't really do trades. Just store credit if you were interested in trading. Decided to hit up sole Supremacy in Newark for a quote and quoted me about $160 more to buy my pairs. Consignment shops like airloom are really killin the game and not in a good way. I would steer away from this shop. The low reviews u see on here are legit. read more

Staff here is rude AF. I tried to sell my lemon venom 1s (in great condition) and I know they're not worth a lot but I just wanted to get em out of my hands. Dude at the register was alright he was willing to negotiate w me. But then he looks at the dude to his left and he shakes his head. I'm thinkin okay.. makin me feel kinda awkward but okay maybe they don't want em and that's fine. BUT THEN another dude comes out the back and looks at the shoes and says in front of me, "That's the kinda shit you buy at Shiekh" or some shit like that. And I was like DAMN really? How they boutta make me feel some type of way for getting these shoes? Like I don't care if they didn't wanna buy em frm me if they just said no, then that's fine. But it's like, they wanna try to make the customer feel like they ain't shit for tryna sell em a decent pair of Js? First off Shiekh has raffles and they sell a lot of the shoes the sneaker heads want so how they boutta say that to me when they got Shiekh shoes in the back. Also my friend who's been there a couple times has told me he's also experienced bad customer service there and he's been telling me not to support them and I didn't get it at first, but now I know why. It seems like they'll only be nice to you if you're boutta drop hella $$$. I read some other reviews on here and there are other people saying THE EXACT SAME THING about their shitty customer service. It's not even just the way they treat you, it's the staff's whole vibe that makes you feel like they think they're better than you. Don't support. Terrible customer service. I was buying some Sean Wotherspoon for 700$ and I was trading in my yeezy to take 200$ off that price and they said it would be cheaper if I paid with cash so they directed me to bank of america to take 500$ cash out. They told me they will hold the shoes for me till i get the money so i go get the money and come back in less than 5 minutes and they sold the shoes to someone else... Not to mention i went into the store right when they opened at 12pm on my lunch break from my job. Then they said they didnt want my yeezys after they sold the shoes so I took 2 L's on my lunch break! I have never wrote a yelp review before because i thought yelp reviews were pointless but this customer service was beyond terrible, so terrible i had to make a yelp account just to write how trash this place is.
