I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Airport Cafe (formerly Airport Grill) in Trenton, South Carolina, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish! To begin with, the location is excellent, and the cafe boasts a nice, large parking lot right out front. This made my visit stress-free, knowing that parking wouldn't be an issue. As soon as I stepped inside, I noticed how immaculate and well-maintained the entire establishment was. From the restaurant's interior to the spotless bathroom, the cleanliness of the place made me feel immediately comfortable and at ease. Every dish that came out looked fantastic, and it was clear that a lot of love and passion go into their culinary creations. But it's not just the food that makes this place special; the staff deserves a special mention as well. The entire team was friendly, warm, and welcoming, creating an atmosphere that felt like eating with friends and family. Their attentive service added to the overall positive dining experience. If I had one regret, it would be that I don't live closer to the Airport Cafe. I would love to explore more of their menu and enjoy their delightful dishes regularly. Highly recommended and thanks to other contributors that encouraged us to try .. A first time visit for us .. went for breakfast. We have been looking for family owned, good value, excellent food and service and zero care about a slick presentation of facility. We have finally found it .. and worth the 20 minute drive. Food and service were excellent.. between us we selected various choices in the sunrise breakfast. Grits and biscuits were standouts..but all good. Does not look like much at all when you drive by, but sometimes thats where the best food is found... For a great price you can get a ton of food. The BBQ Pulled pork was good, also loved the sweet potato fries and spicy cheese curds... Would recommend this spot to anyone in the area. read more

Ordered meal at Airport Grill in Trenton SC. Was told they had no side order for meal that consisted of the side order. Inquired if option of reduction in the meal due to not having side order and was told rudely by waitress that it would be the same price even if they had no mustard or ketchup or chili etc. and then she just walked away. I took my meal and left it at the counter and told the waitress that I changed my mind and would not be eating this meal. It was not so much about the side order but the waitress's attitude in which she was rude about the whole ordeal, i.e., her tone of voice and facial expressions. It gets worse. I confronted the owner and he refused to speak with me and told me he would not speak to me but did tell me that I disgraced his restaurant and disgraced him because I took the food to the counter instead of first talking with him first. I asked him why he did not want to listen to my side of the story and he repeated the same thing. So much for customer service, right? I could understand if I I was yelling and screaming and creating a nuisance but that was not the case. After determining that it was futile for the owner to even listening to my side, I decided to leave for the benefit of all. As I was leaving, the waitress had a sarcastic grin on her face and I told her I hoped it was worth it, in which she replied in a very rude loud tone of voice, what did you say?! What did he say?! I ignored her remark and continued to exit the building. My character speaks for itself although I cannot say the same for the owner. Very, very bad impression of total immaturity and arrogance on the owner and the waitress. The gentleman eating with me was in total agreement with the way I was treated. So sad, the food is really good. Unfortunately, the "I do not give a rat's gluteus" attitude by the owner is not. I am going to miss eating there. Oh well... read more
