When I was told my appt time was 30 mins over due I was told there were still two patients ahead of me. I sat down and waited another 15 mins, I then went and told the desk clerk to annotate my chart as not seen due to doctor availability. They didn't even offer to reschedule my appt. In fact they didn't even care that I would be seen. I am now without a prescription, PT referral and still in pain. Don't think I'll be returning.

Dr Minor would not prescribe anything for pain instead I got a steroid hip injection that did not help! had to see Lonestar ortho for my back pain to get pain meds. The worst thing I experienced was them filing my insurance incorrectly. I had to call Medicare and BCBS and coordinate benefits myself then after BCBS paid the bill TOA were claiming I still owe them $1035 and would not schedule my surgery! I offered to do a 3 way call with their billing office to verify it's been paid and that they need to contact the local BCBS office. TOA didn't have it posted and until it is TOA will not do my extremely painful hip replacement surgery. It's been 2 weeks that the bill has been paid and not one phone call from them! I decided to go to Lonestar Ortho in Burleson and they scheduled my surgery a week later. Lonestar was going to schedule it July 17th but I stressed to them my pain level and issues with TOA so they scheduled me July 3rd. The only reason I went back to TOA was because I had a great experience with Dr Papaliodis for my shoulder replacement 3 yrs ago. We explored additional therapies over a short period, and I recall needling didn't work, but whatever - that stretch was enough once I committed to it and is my biggest takeaway from that time. To date, I have not seen nor heard of this particular exercise from anyone, including Google. Fast forward to the recent day I realize that my few decades of adult life stress that lives in my shoulders isn't going to fix itself and can no longer be ignored. My impatience, combined with an ease in scheduling, found me in Dr. Hill's office. After a week of doing exercises designed to loosen me up and help correct my posture, dry needling was performed yesterday. Y'all, I woke up wondering where my shoulders were because I couldn't feel them! And when a slow, dull ache began to build half an hour later, I easily found relief in a few of the exercises I had already been given. We still have more work to do together and I am so appreciative of their philosophy around treatment and how it's designed.
