For over five years I've had shoulder and hip pain that kept getting worse. Was told it was just arthritis and I'm too active and workout too much. Well, finally I found out my spinal column was narrowing and pinching off my nerves. I don't believe in pain pills or shots so PT it was. First day they took the time to listen to my issues and concerns. Worked on my problem area and gave me what seemed like easy exercises to do from home and with the little ball to help get areas. Holy cow... I felt like ground up meat the first couple days, and icing helped a lot. By the third or fourth day my numbness in my arm and some of the pain areas started to fade. Since then I've had four other sessions and my back, arms and leg feel so much better. My mobility is better than it's been in years. I was in pain for months and finally decided to make an appointment. I was scheduled with Dr. Young and I can't recommend him enough. The NICEST guy and super easy to talk to. He's got a heavy thumb but I honestly feel like he fixed the pain faster that way - so less visits. Adam was super great too. So good news guys. I'm happy to report the fast effects of treatment have in fact been seen by this millennial. The treatment is Painful as hell, it will test your resolve and ability to endure pain. But oh the results! As a chronic patient of Murphy's law, I find myself constantly in pain of one type or another but the ongoing ache of joint pain is by and by one of the hardest to deal with. I had been in severe pain for 14 months. I had been to physical therapy, pain management where I was treated with steroids injections for several weeks, and also was seeing a neurosurgeon. The neurosurgeon performed all the necessary tests and recommended spine stimulation surgery as I was in so much pain. I decided to try Airrosti while I was waiting for authorization for the surgery by my insurance company and saw Dr. Paulson. From the moment I met him, I felt very comfortable as he sat and actually listened to what I had been going through and how I was physically feeling. He also contacted the other doctors I had been seeing so they could work on my care together. I felt truly cared for as his patient and trusted Dr. Paulson. As my appointments progressed, Dr. Paulson said he did not believe I needed surgery, but that my muscles needed to be fired up and working properly. Each week after an evaluation, I was given new exercises to complete twice a day. After being his patient for a short time, I no longer need surgery and am pain free; I have my life back! Adam Jent, the patient advocate was wonderful to work with and ensured I knew how to do my exercises correctly. Since January of 2017 I was under the care of a traditional podiatrist for a sports injury. I hobbled in a walking boot from January to May, and 5 packs of steroids peppered in there. I then completed 12 weeks of physical therapy at a rehab center and at home. Still with a weak foot, I was told to complete another round of steroids and increase my 500 mg Ibuprofen intake for pain management and this is now my life. I was at an increased weight, fluffy puffy from the 'roids and increasingly less mobile. I was referred to Airrosti from my PA during a physical in November. Best chance I took. This is my second time seeing Dr. Young and it was another great experience. He's very personable and cares about how you're feeling and where your pain is. He did a great job treating my neck/shoulder area and I was cleared from PT in only 4 visits. Adam was also great for walking me through my exercises and making sure I was doing them correctly. I had been having foot pain back in November 2021. I went to a podiatrist and was told I had a stress fracture in my foot and needed to wear a bit for 6 weeks. I had some knee pain I couldn't figure out for a long time. I was losing my active lifestyle to it slowly but surely. I went to Dr. John Cybulski at the Oakwell location. He was super friendly and very sharp. Right off he figured out or knew a ton about my issue. I went for only 4 visits as he "peeled the onion back" identifying my issues. I do have plenty homework, but it's the exercises, stretches, and foam rolling that Elvia (part of his team) taught me that make me believe I will only keep getting better over the next 3 months without having to pay to keep going in to see them. I saw Dr Amy at Airrosti. She is wonderful. My insurance approved 6 visits at 1 hour per visit. She explains everything to you before she does it. She works on you. She makes sure you are tolerating the work well. She is friendly and knowledgeable in her field. She also trains you on different take home exercises and stretches to help with your issue. Do not hesitate to come here, no matter what! I was a serious skeptic about any type of physical therapy and or chiropractic care to say the least. However, after numerous trips to my general practitioner, the emergency room, and to other "specialists," I was still suffering from severe bouts of sciatica, leg numbness, foot numbness, and other symptoms. I figured I would give this place a try. God was on my side on this day! The appointment was only an hour, but it was the best hour I've had in a long time! Dr. Cybulski immediately assessed my situation and figured out what was wrong with me. He stretched me out, worked his magic, and I instantaneously felt better. My pain levels immediately dropped from around 90% down to about 10%. I also met another staff member who helped me and showed me some stretches and other ideas that I could utilize to completely recover. It was a great experience, very informative, and a very eye-opening encounter. I am absolutely open minded to the idea of such practices and very thankful to have encountered these experts at this Airrosti location. I have not had any pain since my encounter. I was immediately advised what my issue was after weeks of suffering. My issue was also a time-sensitive issue, because I could have easily suffered nerve damage due to sciatica. I highly recommend Airrosti, especially Dr Terra, to anyone experiencing any kind of pain caused by injury or overuse! I am a frequent Crossfitter with a long history of lower back pain (way before Crossfit). I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Terra Schanzenbacher at Airrosti. I went in to see her when I had some bad pain in my leg during a training run. It was the heaviest training week for my 1st marathon. I was worried I had a stress fracture. She confidently diagnosed a tendon problem, in office treatment (no meds!), and an at home exercise plan. She gave me her cell number and checked in on me during the next few weeks. I feel a ton better and now know how to manage my condition. Any other doctor would have probably sent me out to radiology, given me meds for the pain, and would have told me not to run. Instead, I can go confidently into my upcoming marathon. I would like to start with sharing my disbelief this was going to help at all. The thing is i was at the end of my rope from a constant pain shooting down my leg. I was referred to Dr. Amy by several people stating that Airrosti was amazing. Well i am here to say that wasn't true, it wasn't amazing. It was life changing. In three short visits she had all but laid hands on me and removed the pain. She was collaborative in her diagnostics always listening to the smallest thing and making adjustments in her treatment and my exercises. Dr. Cybulski is young, but do not let his age detour you, as he is one of the most knowledgeable and up to date doctors I have ever encountered. It is clear that he is continually educating himself so that he can provide the best care to his patients. Dr. John Cybulski is the absolute best at what he does. Every time I see him for a sports or age related injury he knows how to fix me right up. You would be remiss if you did not come to him for your injury.
