I reached out to at least 12-13 different repair shops asking for quotes to replace the screen on my IPhone XS and Airtech Communications provided the lowest quote at $179.99 + tax. It is not a refurbished screen either. Some places were wanting to charge me up to $399 and the Apple store was $599~ For a screen!!! I was advised that the picture may not be as "crisp" and the color not as "defined" on my screen because it was not an actual Apple product, but I can tell zero difference in how my screen looks. It took about an hour and a half for Shadi to replace the screen and they were having a 50% sale on screen protectors, so I went ahead and bought one of those as well since the price to fix the screen was about $100 than what I was expecting to pay, Shadi even clean the speakers out on my phone to get better sound quality free of charge. So the total I spent was $202 and some change for the screen and protector., At first, I was planning on giving my business to a shop near my house and they were going to charge me $279 to fix it plus they didn't have the replacement screen in stock and I would have to wait for them to order it, so I did more shopping around, and I'm glad I did. Now, something happend the next day to the screen to where it cracked. It had been in my pocket all day while I was at Magic Mountain not charged because I forgot to charge it before going to the park. The only thing I can think of is a) it was a lemon replacement screen or b) the pressure of the pulldown bars on the rollercoasters I rode caused the crack. And honestly, I did not even see a crack I just saw bleeding colors in it. I e-mailed Shadi immediatley when I got home from the park at around 8 PM explaining the situation and he responded within minutes to my e-mail and assured me he would fix it free of charge and to bring it in the next morning. I did just that, he replaced the screen, showed me the crack which was not visible to the naked eye really and since the screen was under a 30 day warranty, he had no problem replacing it and I haven't had any issues since. I HIGHLY recommend this shop for your cell phone repair. It was busy as hell in the shop too, which is always a great sign and Shadi was excellent to work with from beginning to end. You're not going to find a place that will do this specific sceen replacement for any less, so go here and you won't be disappointed. It's in the Topanga Mall by Cheesecake Factory. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS retailer! Last week my girlfriend and I went to Airtech Communication in the Topanga Mall to activate my Verizon smartphone. I told them that the phone was already flashed to Page Plus. The sales person, SHADI who was helping me said that they would have to flash it again to get my phone number in the phone to make it work. I said ok, no problem. I had to come back to the store again a week later because the phone had a different phone number in it. He also told me I don't know what flashing is and he did all he could do for me. I informed him that I went to Verizon corporate store and they told me that I did not need to flash again. He called me up after that and asked me if I am going to call the bank and dispute the charges. Verizon told me that I could activate my smartphone and move the telephone number from my basic phone for no charge. They also said if the phone was previously on a Verizon network, the smartphone would not require any flashing. What this means, Airtech Communication charged me for flashing and activation which Verizon said they were not required. read more
