From the day we stopped in to do our cake tasting, we both immediately knew that we had to go with them for our wedding cakes. Their cookie jar cake is literallyyy to die for. It was 3 layers of different cookie flavored cakes; chocolate, chocolate chip and oreo. I'm not joking people the guests at our wedding still talk about that cake to this day! The staff there is so nice and accommodating and you can tell they really take pride in their business. We ordered a 2 tiered heart cake for our actual wedding day and it couldn't have been more perfect. The cake was so out of this world that we had decided to order a second version of the cake for our little party a few weeks later. And don't get me wrong our wedding cake was beautiful, but the second cake we got had my jaw on the floor. Definitely recommend for any of your cake needs!! Cookie jar is a must try!

My friends and I chose 2 pastries each and our favorites ended up being the pear, blueberry and cherries. Majority of the desserts featured a cream based center with a hard chocolate exterior and a fruit jam inside. The cherries were a chocolate mousse, which was fantastic and is definitely a must try for any chocolate lovers!

For my twins' 21st birthday, I ordered a custom cake, and the experience from order to first bite was flawless. The owner is clearly driven by pride in the product, going above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. We went with a passion fruit and fresh fruit creation--and when I say fresh, I mean vibrant, seasonal, and bursting with flavor, and placed at the last minute at pick up time to guarantee it.. The cake itself was beautifully balanced: light, airy, and refreshingly restrained on the sugar. The Highlight: The "crispy balls" on top weren't just decorative; they provided a brilliant textural contrast that rounded out the entire experience. Pro-Tip: Trust the process and let the cake sit at room temperature for about an hour before serving. The flavors "bloom" and the texture softens significantly compared to serving it straight from the fridge. For a fully custom creation, the pricing was incredibly reasonable. Highly recommended for milestone celebrations. And I will be back to try the individual marvels I drooled for in the display case :-)

I was searching for Eastern European pastry (ik ik some of it is not, but that's what I used to love eating when I lived there), and somehow this bakery was just escaping my attention. It's so pretty there, very good and clean bakery. The cashiers are nice and attentive, the array of cakes and pastries is not overwhelming for me, it's just exactly everything I wanted all these years after getting headache from bad sugar in all of those Smith's and Walmart pies and "cakes", I was so happy to finally enjoy my favorite Soft Napoleon, the Lemon Bar - jeeeeeez, it lemoned me away. Bird's Milk cake was just too much for me - I hardly finished that one piece in two days, very rich taste. I'm so interested in Boats and coconut cake, also want to try their bread next time (the fluffy buns with raisins are the holy grail, I wish you guys were not so far away, I'd be buying them every week. Loved my first experience and I'm hoping not to be disappointed in any other cakes I intend to try soon p.s. I saw croissants - they are huge and I'm dreaming of them now.

The savory items are still good, and that is probably the only part that still feels reliable. The flowers, however, are extremely overpriced for the quality. The arrangements I have seen recently looked poor, did not feel fresh, and had an unpleasant smell. For the price point, the quality is simply not acceptable. The sweet items have also become a major disappointment. What used to be fresh, well-made, and worth going out of the way for now tastes stale and, in my opinion, is no longer enjoyable. It is especially disappointing because this place had a strong reputation and genuinely used to be good. Overall, it feels expensive, overhyped, and no longer worth the visit. The savory selection may still be decent, but the bakery's sweets and flower shop quality have fallen far below what they used to be.

Now for the main reason... The cake tasted absolutely amazing!!! Chocolate cake, Cookie Butter inside and Cinnamon Frosting outside. It was the best combination and I can tell you I have been craving that combination ever since! It wasn't too sweet and it was big enough for my whole party of over 30 guests. So I decided to ask for a cupcake that the frosting was made with cream cheese. So I got the cupcake. There was a lot of frosting on the cupcake and my first initial bite was the frosting tasted like it had been in the refrigerator for three weeks. Now I did do as the baker suggested and let it get to room temperature in 100° weather on the ride home. I think that it pretty much came up to room temperature. The frosting was soft, but it had a horrible taste, and the cupcake itself not good at all. I guess I just should've walked out when I saw the cases were more than half empty. That's my fault but I wasted five dollars on a regular size cupcake with a dry cake and the frosting that tasted like it had been in the refrigerator for three weeks. I don't think I'll return.

I'm definitely a sweets person, but not usually a "cake" person because they're often way too sweet. Not here! At least for the cakes I've tried. The icing on their strawberry shortcake and the brown derby cakes is just amazing. Both of those cakes are so flavorful but not overwhelmingly sweet. One of my favorite things is that they offer single slices of cake. It's the perfect way to satisfy a craving and try it before committing to an entire cake (although you'll probably want one after your first bite!). I haven't tried their cookies or other treats yet, but if they taste half as good as the cakes, I'm sure they're also amazing. This place is a 10/10 for me. I highly recommend!

Granted we had never gone in the morning before (it was about 11:30am) so I'm not used to having so many available options but the store was bright, clean, and well stocked. Who are we kidding that we would leave with something small? We ended up with a slice of red velvet cake, Parisian chocolate, carrot cake, and confetti sprinkle cake. We ordered half a pound of the sea salt caramel cake cookies and a half assortment of the M&M and Reese's Pieces butter cookies. I was able to check in here on Yelp and snagged four free chocolate chip cookies. When we went to checkout they said we got to spin a wheel (honestly can't remember the purchase threshold) but I spun and got a free cupcake. I opted for the Boston Cream cupcake. We have had all of the other items before but I was extremely excited to try the cupcake and had it with lunch. The cake was so soft and spongy and the chocolate ganache topping was so rich and decadent balancing the cream filling. This is another dangerous addition to have right around the corner but to be honest we are always grateful to have a consistent bakery close by. Thanks again, Freeds, and welcome to the Southwest!
