Now they're pretty pricey for one but it's the appreciation of how it's made with the natural ingredients, how it's crafted, and presented. Also, I like to treat myself... and treat yo self! None were overpowering, which I liked. Each bite was lite and airy, as well as tasting each and every flavor that it's made with. I ordered: 1) Earl Grey and Passion Fruit $9.50- earl grey tea mousse inside, passion fruit jelly in the middle, and almond cake on the bottom. Ya'll this is one of the few bakeries I've found in the US that offers chestnut as a flavor. If you've never had a chestnut cake, do yourself a favor and stop in for a slice (not dairy free or vegan--just delicious). My partner was in heaven eating it. As for myself, I ordered a box of bonbons. If you don't know what a bonbon is it's: A bonbon is a small, typically round confection with a hard outer shell, most often chocolate, and a variety of fillings, which can include fruit, caramel, nougat, nuts, ganache, or buttercreams. They were gorgeously decorated and the taste was exquisite. I also ordered 6 macrons of varying flavors. Everything is fresh and so decadent. Mind you this place might be considered a splurge depending on your budget, but it is oh so worth it. SERVICE, INGREDIENTS: Diana, who we met and helped us, is the owner, pastry chef, and Certified Nutrition Coach. She was super nice and explained that everything is made with natural flavors - for example, flavors like Earl grey is made / infused with Earl grey tea - and no added sugars. I thought that was quite unique. Everything is gluten free and a portion is vegan. TASTE: We brought our desserts home for tasting and found that a lot of the flavors are light - not too sweet. Our favorites were the ones with chocolate and also the pistachio bar - those really stood out to us. What I absolutely loved is how Diana boxed up the desserts. She placed a sticky underneath each item to ensure that during transport, none of the desserts shifted. We didn't know she did that until we got home. Nice touch and very caring to do so! OVERALL: I'm happy that there's a bakery around that offers gluten free and vegan options. I discovered this place while waiting for a table next door. I walked in and was greeted by the sweet owner, who gave us some recommendations on what to order. We ended up ordering a slice of mango cake, and a pumpkin cheesecake (if I remember correctly), and they were both so gorgeous! The mango cake was perfectly moist and not too sweet. I loved it!
