My husband and I are from out of town, and they were able to get us in last minute so we could taste the different flavors available for our cake. I tried this bakery for the first time to get a pie for Thanksgiving. I have to eat a gluten free diet and was happy to see they offered around 7 different pies in a gluten free version. I opted for the banana cream and it was great, even all of my non-gluten free family enjoyed it. I have been to this business several times before and absolutely loved their cakes. There was a large variety of small desserts. I came in one day to place an order for a cake. It was a Thursday and I was hoping to pick it up by Saturday. I was told that because of the late turn around time I was going to be charged a "late fee" for a $50 cake to feed 6-8 people. The price would continue to go up based of the design I wanted. When I asked how much the "late fee" would be I was told it would depend on how busy the kitchen staff was. I am very confused how you would charge a late fee for an order that was not picked up nor even placed yet? Also $50 +for a cake to say happy birthday. We went in around June for our cake tasting and they have the best set up you could imagine! You're able to pick and choose exactly what you want. The set up they had for the tasting was the absolute cutest!! Annie was helping us and was our design specialist and she did absolutely amazing! I chose the cinnamon roll, which looked awesome, and my husband chose the brookie which is a brownie and cookie combined! When we got home and cut into the cinnamon roll, it was totally doughy and uncooked inside! Ugh we threw the middle part away and just ate the outside, but it had absolutely no cinnamon on it so I don't know why they call it a cinnamon roll? I don't know how I missed reviewing Rolling in Dough Bakery but maybe it's because I didn't pay for services and won a contest so I felt bad. I had won some cake pops in a contest and they were delicious and beautiful. But I wanted to review my latest stop for their NY Supreme Croissants. These are HUGE! They were advertising them on Instagram and Facebook and they definitely caught my eye. I emailed and called them to preorder. They told me they were $15 each so I decided to pick two, one Filthy Chocolate and one Mother Loving Turtle. When I went to pick it up today, I was greeted with a smile. They asked me for my name and it was like I was a regular, so friendly and Just made me feel good to be there. They pulled out a giant pink box and when it was opened I couldn't help but gasp at the size of these things! They told me if I shared on social media I could also have a coupon for a free one. The drive home was a little nerve wracking as I could hear them shift on the paper in the box and I didn't want all the toppings to fall off. When I got home my husband and son gathered around and we took an epic picture to show how big these things are. We cut open the Filthy Chocolate and it was layer upon layer of flaky and yet soft and chewy croissant layers. As we cut it, a beautifully light and creamy chocolate mousse spilled out from the middle. This is not the cleanest treat, but it was ooey gooey yummy! They are very filling so we haven't cut open the Mother Loving Turtle yet but I tasted the caramel drip on top and it was decadent! Stop by Th-Sunday. This small shop is located in a plaza with some chain establishments and there's even some seating outside of you can't wait to get home. Once you walk in you are greeted with some kind staff and a big case full of cake, cupcakes, cookies, brownies, and a whole bunch of other tasty treats to turn any frown into the biggest smile in the world. I proceeded to order two things off of the menu, the blackout cake and a birthday cake cake pop. I don't know how else to say this, but the blackout cake was the absolute best piece of cake I have ever had in my entire life.....hands down. The piece was big, it was extremely chocolatey and so god forsaken good that I would do almost anything for a second piece of it right now......almost anything. The birthday cake pop I had was also really, really good and made for the perfect treat to eat while we drove from the bakery to home. Overall, Rolling in Dough is the new king of Las Vegas bakeries and my absolute favourite place to get cake from.
