The onion rings were pretty good, too. I gotta say for a place that kinda screams "overpriced", it really isn't. Came to almost exactly 50 dollars for two burgers with fries, order of onion rings, and a soft drink. Honestly? In this economy? Pretty fair for the size and quality. 6 dollars for a shake kinda surprised me too, albeit I didn't order one. Server was nice. Place was probably overstaffed, but pretty great experience overall. Very pleasantly surprised. Check it out.

The calm ambiance and muted, cinnamon-brown walls of the space's predecessor, Cafe at 407, which closed at the end of 2023, have been replaced with TVs in the dining area and bar, a wall-length mural and a little nook with a neon sign that reads "Say Cheese!" and Polaroids of satisfied customers pinned to the wall. The menu taps into childhood fast food nostalgia, with burgers, fries, onion rings and milkshakes -- plus beer, wine, cocktails and boozy sodas. With five burgers, two chicken sandwiches, two salads, a few shareable starters, Fly Bird chicken tenders, a Chicago-style glizzy and a fried fish sandwich served only on Fridays, the menu isn't long, but offers enough variation to appeal to most diners. The wife and I stopped in on a Saturday right at opening time. We were sat and given menus immediately. We decided to share a burger and fries and an order of tenders. We ordered the blue suede shoes - a burger topped with cheddar, bacon, lettuce, tomato, carmelized onions, pickles and house remoulade and an order of hot stuff buffalo tenders. Our food was brought relatively quickly and we enjoyed everything. Fries were fresh, crispy and seasoned, burger was cooker perfectly, the tenders were fresh, crispy, saucy and had just the slightest kick of heat to them. Our server was very friendly and helpful, prices were comparable to similar restaurants, and we has plenty of food to bring home. We'd definitely go again.

Huckleberry is a more-tart relative of the blueberry, and is notoriously difficult to farm. There was so much fruit here that we couldn't really say it was the dominant flavor. Quite nice. Nice red hue, too. Wait ... "Berry Man"-ilow? Not sure of the intended implications. It seems to get sweeter as it warms up. I still don't get the name. Wachusett Blueberry Ale was a less-tart and more malty brew. This to us was more beer that fruit-punch. So one of liked the first, and the other liked this. There were maybe a dozen more drafts to choose from. The bar was pleasant, bright, and relaxing.

Cicero, NY welcomes Poundtown, newly opened in the Aldi Plaza (5962 Rt. 31) near CNS High School, and it is definitely worth a visit. It's easy to drive right by this plaza and never know this treasure is there, but don't miss it! I ordered the Double Trouble Smash Burger with cheese ($15), and it was incredibly tasty. The patties had that perfect crispy edge you want in a great smash burger. It was served on a wonderfully soft roll and loaded with perfectly melted cheese, fat pickle slices, and sweet caramelized onions. You get a choice of signature sauces (Classic or Classic with a Cajun kick)--I chose the Classic, and it was delicious! My burger came paired with a generous side of crispy, fresh, hand-cut fries. Turnaround time from counter ordering to table delivery was remarkably brief. While the signature burgers range from $16-$18, they have at least 10 different burgers on the menu alongside plenty of other options. You can find chicken, mac bowls, salad bowls, and loaded fries ($8-$10). A friend of mine who was eating there at the same time highly recommends the onion rings, too! Unexpected Plus: When I entered the cozy space, I was delighted to discover that Pound Town shares its location with Big Fellas Hibachi & Tacos and they serve a multi-page menu of delights including tacos, burritos, egg rolls, wings, and even steak or lamb plates! Definitely looking forward to sampling their menu soon. Regardless of which vendor you are visiting, the cozy room has a few booths for dining-in, even though the setup seems primarily geared for takeout. The quality of the food, the diverse variety, and the convenient location make this a absolute must-try spot. I will definitely be back! P.S. Sorry for no pictures! I was really hungry and the burger looked so good that the photo completely slipped my mind!

Ordered a pub smash burger and chicken tenders. 34.00 dollars, not bad considering the amount of food. The burger was actually very tasty. Savory and rich. I just wish the onion rings on top were simply cut or sautéed onions. Because everything fried tasted like dirty, old fryer oil. The fries were an atrocity. Resembling 5 guys fries that happened to be drenched in oil. GLISTENING. You could style a crazy pompadour by running your fingers through your hair after eating these. Gross. The tenders were admittedly huge, but woody and also tasted like....old fryer oil! Not great, Bob. Unfortunate cause the burger was actually decent. I won't return.
