I had been to a Peruvian restaurant in West Palm Beach a couple of months ago and absolutely loved it, so I've been on the hunt for something local that could compare. This place did not disappoint. Don't feel intimidated by the menu--just go for it. Everything we tried was incredible. We started with the ceviche platter, which included three different varieties. Honestly, it was more like an entrée for four than an appetizer, but it was so good we couldn't stop eating it. For our main courses, my husband ordered the beef stew and I had the shredded chicken. The flavors and textures were unbelievable--everything tasted like it had been slow-cooked for hours. Rich, comforting, and perfectly seasoned. We both had Pinot Grigio, although next time we'll probably just go for a bottle. Our bill came to around $130, which felt completely reasonable for the quality of the food and overall experience. My friends and I went to eat as a party of four on Saturday March 7, 2026. The food was delicious and the servers were attentive. However, we were a party of 4 and were NOT informed there would be a gratuity automatically added to the bill. As of July 1, 2026, new Florida legislation (Ch. 2025-113) requires restaurants to explicitly disclose any "operations charge" (automatic gratuity/service fees) on both the menu and the bill, distinguishing them from voluntary tips. While often applied to larger groups, automatic charges for parties of 4 must be clearly disclosed. The prices are a bit high already even if the food is delicious and not informing us or other customers in advance of adding their gratuity of choice is misleading. read more

I went hear with mutual friends a total of 5 of us. The menu was very detailed not too many pictures but the staff did explain and questions or concerns we had regarding the menu. We ordered the passion fruit juice which was AMAZING AND FRESH ! Everything came out at one and hot . Variety of dishes included the chaufas special and chaufas the pollo and the pesto linguine and the fish special which I had to have a bite because the dis presentation and smell was amazing. Needles to say I did not finish my meal the abundance of serving on my plate was well enough for two people or to share . Ordered takeout last night and while it was quite good, the Aji de Gallina - which is usually my favorite Peruvian dish - was a bit bland, and the creamy shrimp sauce for the tacu tacu a bit salty. The yuca fries got a bit dry, probably best to only order that for in-restaurant eating and not to go so you can have it straight away piping hot. The leche de tigre was good. Overall I think Aji Peru is probably a place best to eat in, hopefully it's not an indicator of the quality already declining. I'll update again the next time I go! I will say the resturant was packed, the ambiance was relaxed and inviting, the staff was pleasant and charming and our order was taking quickly. When the food came out, it was a beautiful presentation then the epic failure the flavors were disappointing. The only flavor the food had was SALT and way to much of it. It couldn't be eaten. Great food here. Glad we tried this place because we were at that neighborhood for errands. Newly opened about a month ago. A simple small place with great food. Service is good and Zach is our server and he is also a son to the owner( mother and uncle ) We ordered mixed seafood Chaufa, fish / mixed seafood cerviche and a lightly grilled corvina fillet with boiled yuca root and white rice with saute onions red pepper sauce. We asked for reduction of oil and spices and all turned out great. Zach checked on us to make sure everything is going well with the dishes. We will come again. Being born and raised in Lima, I can tell if a Peruvian restaurant is good based on the quality and taste of their ceviche and leche de Tigre. I love trying out Peruvian restaurants in a new hometown, and unfortunately this place was a huge let down. The ceviche was dry and the leche de Tigre was unappetizing. Our service experience was average and the restaurant felt small and cramped but I can understand why after dining there. The only other restaurant I have yet to try in this area is the Machu Picchu Restaurant off Bayshore. If I have to continue to go down to Boca or west Palm for Peruvian food I'll continue to make the drive because there I can eat authentic cuisine from my home country that won't leave a bad taste in my mouth. read more

Brand new restaurant in Port st Lucie wirth authentic Peruvian food, absolutely delicious, had the Shrimp soup- "Chupe de camaron", great seasoning! Also tried the Chaufa with Pork, similiar to Chinese rice only better! more flavor. To drink I tried the Inka Cola, it's a Golden soda, very tasty, Coke bought the company from its original destination of Lima, Peru.
