    Shrimp Tempura Teriyaki Bento Bowl

Very good sushi and lots of it for the $$! I had the shrimp tempura Bento Bowl. I also ordered Philadelphia sushi roll. We also ordered tiger sushi which was HUGE! My only complaint was that it didn't come with wasabi or pickled ginger.

Definitely a local favorite! We came after a menu change so we didn't get what we originally wanted but the food was still good. FYI: Bento boxes have been replaced with Bento bowls and Udon is gone. The California rolls are honestly the best! We also ordered the Monster Roll and Big Daddy rolls. Honestly, I couldn't tell the difference between the Monster and Big Daddy rolls so I think we will just choose one next time. The Shrimp tempura appetizer was cooked to perfection. We were underwhelmed by the Shumai appetizer. The service was great as usual. The servers are attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend!

An easy 5/5 slam dunk! I would rate them higher if I could. I love going to Aji for their low prices, fresh sushi, and out-of-this-world food. I would especially recommend the Poke Bowl (~$13) and the Cherry Blossom rolls (~$9). The Poke Bowl comes with an assortment of fish (tuna, salmon, white fish) and the balance between fish, rice, and toppings (avocado, cucumber, "crunchies") is superb. The Cherry Blossom has tuna on top and salmon & avocado in the middle - scrumptious! There is a calming vibe to the restaurant with ample seating area. The decor is sleek, modern, and unobtrusive. I haven't tried using their bathroom, but I typically prefer my porcelain throne at home. Every time I come, the servers are always very prompt and friendly. You can tell they are college students so I always make sure to tip! I have no complaints - I only wish I could go a million times to try everything on the menu!

aji! one of the first good sushi spots i tried in when i was new to bcs and the OG local sushi restaurant i always come back to. personally my favorite aspects of aji are their lunch menu with nice prices for a selection of different rolls, as well as their sushi bowls! the unagi bowl, while a bit heavier on the rice than the eel, is huge and could even last you two portioned meals if you wanted! i like to get one bowl and then one or two rolls to split with whoever i'm eating with :) speaking to the quality of the rolls and fish, i have no complaints! everything comes out at a good temperature, has great preparation, and tastes nice. i will say, nowadays, i swing between aji if im feeling good quality rolls and bowls and sushi masa if i just want to enjoy all you can eat sashimi. but with the cost of sushi masa, aji is the OG and a great alternative for not overspending but still leaving full & satisfied with their great quality sushi! service is very friendly and helpful with suggestions, and the ambiance is very warm with good seating arrangements and decor. overall: 9.5/10 taste: 10/10 price*: 9/10 *depending on what you order, i'd call some rolls and certainly the sashimi more expensive than i'd buy, but for the items i order (bowls, lunch rolls, etc.) it's good :)

My experience at Aji was amazing! The quality of the food is great! The Spicy Salmon and Sweet and Spicy rolls were done so well. My server, Ethan was the highlight of my trip to Aji. He was very helpful with the menu and was always checking in to see if I needed anything. The music and atmosphere is simple and calm as well. I will be back!

I came here because I was really craving calamari, and while the calamari kind of disappointed, the lunch special did not! For 50% of the price I would have paid in Dallas or Boston, I got 70% of the quality at even larger portions. I can't expect amazing Asian food at college station, but this place was pretty good. Service was great, and it seemed like everyone was having a great time here.

Very balanced price and portions! For the poke bowl, you'll be quite surprised with how much food they give you. Fast and friendly service with a nice calm/warm atmosphere. Definitely give it a try!

I'm totally unfamiliar with the area so popped in for my lunch break to a random restaurant in the shopping center, and BOY OH BOY did I pick the right spot! The $14 sashimi lunch set was incredibly filling and had some of the nicest fish I've eaten in quite a while. I had to rush back to work, but I might pop by after to ask what that lil white fish was; it was delicious. My waitress was also very quick and kind, and overall I'd definitely eat here again!

I have been going to A Ji for years. I've experienced sushi all over, best sushi in Houston doesn't hold a candle to A Ji, right here in good ole CStat. I've tried every sushi place in the Brazos Valley multiple times (Blu Fin, Oishi, Naked Fish, 40 Tempura), I've tried them all, and more. Literally no one compares to A Ji. It's just the best. Period. From ANYWHERE. If you care about yourself, get the chefs special surprise roll and a nigiri flight. If you really care about yourself, get the truffle oil platter. It changes lives. Their salad is so crispy and the lettuce is so fresh, and the salad dressing is so indescribably perfect (not Mayo based...you'll want to drink it) and they have THE BEST miso. Everything is good. Service is always beyond satisfactory and the rolls are just the best in town (and maybe in America). To say this is a "hidden gem" would be an understatement. The ONLY thing negative you could possibly say is sometimes, especially on hot summer days, it's a little warm inside. So, if that is going to ruin your experience, go at night, when it's cooler. And just eat your sushi and experience the best sushi in town. Don't forget to start with the house salad and miso! Best part: you can get SO MUCH food and I PROMISE you, your tan won't be over $65. That's if you go absolutely crazy. Prices are so reasonable.

I've been wanting to stop by the Oh My Gogi! food truck next time I was in Houston in the weekend,…read moresince I heard a bunch of great things about their food. I had no idea that they recently had a food truck in Northgate, so I decided to check them out. TASTE: During my visit, I decided to opt for their Bulgogi Beef Fries, which I typically get at Asian fusion food trucks as a benchmark and since you technically can't go wrong with bulgogi beef fries in general. I had my share of these kind of fries from the west coast to those in Austin and Houston, so I had a good range of good and bad fries. I really liked these fries though, since they were my style. The fries were nicely firm but weren't oily. The bulgogi also had a nice texture and wasn't chewy like what I find at places with similar dishes. It also had the complete works like your spicy mayo and garnishes. One thing that I did notice about the fries was that it was nicely seasoned with some sort of spicy seasoning (?), which I don't recall seeing often in similar fries from other places. Long story short, great tasty bulgogi beef fries. SERVICE: It's a food truck in a food truck park, but the guy taking my order seemed cool. VALUE: Reasonably priced at around $8 and about the same as the other Asian fusion places that you find in the bigger cities and at restaurants in town with similar dishes like Nam Cafe. If this were open for lunch or more weekday evenings, I would have no qualms in making this a frequent spot. ATMOSPHERE: I visited around midnight for a late snack break on a Saturday night in the summer, but it was unfortunately surprisingly empty. But since it was spacious and well-lit with music blaring on the speakers, I think it would make a great atmosphere for a group of friends to eat and hang out. VERDICT: Overall, strong recommend from me. I want to go back to try their other foods. Only bummer is that they are only open on weekend evenings from Thursday to Saturday, so you have to catch them at the right time. Glad they have a food truck like this here in town, because I typically only get this taste when I head to the major cities in the state.

First off, I'm gonna start with. I've had scallops in the past and the scallops that they had in there or whatever they where were extremely fishy to the point of the entire Fried Rice tasted like fish. I ate the majority of the Fried Rice. It left an oily fishy taste in my mouth. I was just so hungry. I ate it and I fell asleep. I noticed that I started getting rumble guts in the middle of the night and yeah, you can figure it out from there. I think next time I'll probably steer clear of this place. And I do come to brian college station quite a bit after I ate there. The next night, one of the guys told me that I shouldn't have eaten there. Just walking in the location didn't look very clean.Look kinda unkepped. Would I ever come back? Probably not more like, definitely not. If you want to try it, try it out. Maybe I just had a bad experience. But yeah it wasn't for me. Combo fried rice 1 outa 10 just nasty fishy taste i have never had scallops in Fried Rice. She brought out the sides for our table and the kimchi was okay...nothing that had fermented long enough. The cold radish was a highlight. The potatoes were tough and I did not even try the jelly... For our entrees, all of us got bulgogi except for my mother who got the spicy seafood soup. Our friend tried ordering the sautéed chicken but the waitress literally said, "is it your first time? You get bulgogi. I promise." She completely hijacked his ordering experience and ended up with a dish he didn't like. None of us liked our food (except my mother). "Mom, y'all (referring to me and her) make better bulgogi than this at home," said my brother. I don't disagree...the texture was rubbery and it was tasteless. This being my 3rd time here (I always get some form of bibimbap), I expected the same quality. The presentation was nice but so much was lacking. Great service, C-tier food.
