Went to try the gluten free, dairy free options. Made sure burger had mustard and no cheese and side salad had vinaigrette and no cheese since it was pecans and apples, etc. Plate arrived with cranberries and feta salad and mayo for the burger. Server grabbed another salad without cheese but said apples and pecans were not available for side salads. The receipt only showed entrees but not options or details so what can I do? Lilly was our cashier and I just want to add that she did a great job listening to us and making suggestions and edits even though the kitchen ignored most instructions.

Today I decided to go for breakfast at Stella Southern Cafe. The food is excellent and the service too. They has expanded the floor space. Had two eggs with ham, coffee. The coffee is great. Reasonable price.

So the line was out the door, but moved pretty fast. You order and then find somewhere to sit it was pretty efficient when we were here. I've seen some people complain about this in the other reviews, but I had no complaints. It is a very hustle and bustle place but the food is really good and all the servers are consistently moving and checking on you so that was really nice. Very clean seem well maintained super friendly people.

A warm and chic restaurant with quick turn around on food due to counter service. Many wonderful servers helped with our food delivery, coffee refills etc. the biscuits and gravy

I bought a shirt and that means we had a memorable experience. Stella's was a cool spot for breakfast. I had the pot roast and eggs, the rest of the table had banana fosters French toast and juevos rancheros. We loved every bite and the coffee stood out on its own. Don't be afraid of line as the tables clear pretty quick.

Wow! We loved the entire experience at Stella's. Walking into the maize of the gift shop items with time to check out the extensive menu was perfect. The service was perfect and fast and our food arrived quickly and cooked to perfection. So many wonderful southern flavors and with beautifully cooked eggs. The southern comfort here oozes from the food and the decor. Be sure and not miss this fantastic brunch spot.

The vibe is chill and the place is very cute-but this is our fourth time giving it a shot and everything we ordered needed salt. Bland, bland. The bacon was over cooked, the sausage was beige with no sear. The grits needed copious amounts of salt and pepper, as did the pimento cheese.

I came into town and was looking for something that wasn't fast food and would be enjoyable to eat I found this place on yelp and saw that it was nearby so I've decided to give it a try The location is easy to get to very clean and safe The food was fantastic, and the service was pleasant I would definitely come back again

Overall, I had a great brunch. I tried the Biscuits & Gravy. I added scrambled eggs and bacon. I wish there was a discount when you order it all together. I rarely just order biscuits & gravy alone but I might be in the minority. I tried the orange juice. It tasted freshly made. The size of the cup was smaller than expected. I tried my friend's home fries. While they tasted good, they didn't look appetizing. As a big woman, the seating options wasn't the best. The seats were spacious but the tables were very close together. I usually go to the booths but the booths are the ones where the table doesn't move. I wished all restaurants had booths with tables that were movable. The young woman who took our order was nice and patient. The waiters were friendly and helpful as well. Overall, I had a nice brunch and would recommend.

I was new and alone so I didn't know that When you go to Stella's the menu is on the wall, you order and pay at the counter, then you find your own seat. Pretty cool and easy. Better than waiting for someone to seat you and then waiting for a waitress. Especially since I went here on my lunch hour. I ordered a caramel cold brew because I am so tired. Having insomnia is really difficult but the cold brew did its job. I also had the pumpkin spice french toast which is actually a biscuit. It had the most tastiest whipped cream or dollop of cream for the french toast. I got the 1/2 order as I wasn't too hungry I just wanted to try out this place. I'll give it 5 stars, it was great, it was quick, it was delicious and the staff were friendly. Can't ask for much else.

    Veggie Frittata with Strawberry Salad

It was my first trip to Stella today. I'm so glad we went early because the reviews on Yelp are not wrong. The restaurant has a delicious menu for breakfast and lunch goers. The cashier was extremely friendly and helpful when it came to making a decision about which menu options to try. Since it was brunch I shared a carafe of Raspberry Mint Mimosa with my date. It was very tasty. I enjoyed the veggie frittata that was paired with a fresh strawberry salad. My date enjoyed the fried chicken and French toast. It was so tasty with the house pepper syrup. Both choices were great. I ended up purchasing a traveler's mug because it comes with unlimited refills for life. The server even offered to wash the new container before I left so I could have a drink to go. I also purchased some funny stickers to decorate my mug with. The restaurant was clean, bright, and family friendly. I definitely look forward to going back when I'm in College Station again.

We got here at 9:15AM on a Saturday and it was relatively empty, a few people studying. Not much parking but it doesn't seem to need too much. The lemon poppy seed bread was really good (5/5). Perfect texture, would never guess that it's gluten-free. Spongy but moist, not grainy at all. The coffee was relatively forgettable but all of them did have strong hints of the syrup that was added. I had a drip coffee with honey syrup and it was decent, not too sweet. My partner's cold brew was very strong in the lavender syrup she got. I'd come back for the pastries alone and it's a nice little study spot.

I can easily see this place getting incredibly crowded during the school year. Unfortunately, the drinks were a huge letdown. The iced mango cloud matcha was super watered down and lacked that vibrant green color. It tasted mostly like milk and a hint of mango (which wasn't too sweet), but had barely any actual matcha flavor. The iced macchiato was also extremely milky. It tasted like straight milk with a tiny splash of coffee that you couldn't even taste. On the positive side, we stayed until 4pm and found that the crowd cleared out around lunchtime. It became a much better, quieter environment for working in the afternoon. Our verdict is to avoid the milky drinks. It's a decent spot to work during the summer in the afternoon if you need quietness, but we won't be returning.

This will be my go to coffee drink next time I am visiting someone in cstat and a very pleasant surprise after what was described to me as a "stronger cold brew". It was a little warm out but was still manageable. Unfortunately, the drink menu was severely lacking right off the bat. They didn't even have basic latte or mocha options available and only had standard house blend coffee or cold brew. The food was equally disappointing. We ordered the lobster omelet and the smoked salmon Benedict. The sauce on the omelet was tasty at first but got very heavy as the meal went on. The Benedict was a huge letdown too! I knew from the menu that it didn't come with hollandaise sauce, but when the plate arrived, it looked totally bland and thrown together like a homemade meal. It is definitely not worth the $20 price tag after tax. To make matters worse, the breakfast potatoes were cooked more like small fries, which wasn't what I expect with brunch. Overall, it was an underwhelming experience, and I won't be returning.
