Came ti this place with my office partners, did see the reviews and for that we came... first impression was it was completely empty... we did give it a try again for the reviews. For me, average, service might be a notch above average but again, 1 table only.... Food, I had the rib soup for which Colombia is also famous and it was ok... for me, missing flavor and balance.... also had some fried plantains and these were reheated.... my partner had an arepa with cheese and this was ok. Place was ok clean.. All in all been there done that!! Enjoy

Arepa is good but thicker than I am used to the ones I have eaten in Rhode Island. Great cup of local authentic coffee. Empanadas are moist and fresh as well as flavors of seasons.

You'll find this hidden gem tucked away in the Yellow Green Farmers Market. So far I've had the chicken empanada, pabellón empanada, and black bean and cheese empanada. Each were great, but the pabellón is my personal favorite. They have some very tasty dipping sauces as well. The owner is very friendly and will help you pair the best sauce for each type of empanada. Give it a try!

We…read morestopped at the first smoothie place you see when you walk in, which is a Venezuelan smoothie shop called Antojitos Criollos. I ordered a maracuyá smoothie, and after drinking almost the entire thing, I noticed there was a HUGE cockroach inside my cup. When my mom went to show the owner the cockroach, instead of being concerned or apologizing, he questioned how it got there and actually suggested that we may have put it in the cup ourselves. I was absolutely disgusted and shocked by the entire situation. We were so grossed out afterward that we ended up throwing away ALL the food we had purchased from the other vendors because we no longer felt comfortable eating anything from the market. Please stay away from this place. Finding a huge cockroach in a drink is bad enough, but the way the owner handled the situation made it even worse. I would never want anyone else, especially a child, to have this experience.

They have signs stating that pets can't come inside unless they're service animals. Not an issue. I read in the app that somebody's Uber eats driver got sent to a different location, Happened to us, too, but the bad directions took us close enough to see the place, so we just went there when the GPS started to send us into the dog track. We each had arepas (Llanera and Pelua, respectively) and a passionfruit margarita. They were uniformly excellent. The service was first rate - friendly, informative, courteous and attentive. The food was excellent, but it was the great service that made the experience stand out. Hats off to Jetsika, the server. We'll ask for her when we go back. Prices are on the high side for arepas, but not outlandish - We paid roughly $70 for both of us, including tax and tip. With the level of service we received, and the fact that this is not a take-out stand, it's worth the money. Good food, good service, decent prices... all pluses. We don't live anywhere near there, but we'll be back. An easy five stars.

The margarita during happy hour is much more on the sweet side, too sweet for me. Service is always fast and friendly. The restaurant is spacious and well-decorated. Good for families and couples!
