Ordered through Uber eats. The app was taking our driver to a different location. The restaurant called to let us know our food was ready and waiting to be picked up. We chose to go pickup ourself instead of waiting for another driver. The staff were super kind and remade our coffees for us. The arepas were soooo good. This is definitely one of my favorite spots. The food is always amazing, I have tried almost everything off the menu and I am never disappointed. They offer an assortment of wine, fresh juice, and coffee. I order a glass of wine with my meal often. Don't forget the cilantro cream sauce, it tastes great on anything you might order so don't forget. The service is always great, they greet you upon walk in and the system to order takeout is great. Delicious meal delivered via DoorDash . Took advantage of their buy one get one promo for the chicken arepa. Was delicious with fresh pulled chicken and a lot of cheese. My husband enjoyed his pork arepa and we tried the beef as well. Huge portions! We had enough for two more meals. We had some crema sauce in the fridge that we used because they were a little dry. One of my favorites Venezuelan places! The first time I was here I tried an arepa pepiada and after that empanadas my favorite one so far with beef and beans!! The service was faster, nicer and they always smile at you... the restaurant let you order to go, on a simply way in a small computer or to stay... there's a lot of venezuelan chocolates that you also can buy. this would have been a 5 star review since the food was great, and the service was also great. Clean place, overall decent prices, but i was not a fan of how the bill was handled. I came here with my wife and baby for some snacks really, which turned into dinner; we ordered the grill special and an appetizer and a juice and a coke; everything again was delicious - no complaints there. what I didn't like is how we were charged a 20 percent gratuity fee automatically as soon we received the check. I wanted to say something, since I don't believe gratuity should be automatically included, for 2 people. Only downside- I had to pay 50cents for a packet of hot sauce ‍ and I get that everything is an expense for a business but these 3 times plus 2 drinks costed me $45- not cheap. Also the ham bread is not the same as the one they offer to sell separately, so leading you that the one they include on the combo is not as filled and good as the one they put on the combo. The last time I ordered takeout it was burnt I couldn't even bite into it, however, the customer service is impeccable. Ever had that specific craving you can't identify but need to satisfy? It's arepas, brother. And it's you can get them right here. Service is usually pretty fast. Can get slowed down a bit if there's a moderate amount of people but for the most part it is consistent. Staff has always been friendly too. I've tried several of their arepas so far, but my favorite has been the Pabellón arepa. Shredded beef, black beans, melted cheese, sweet plantains... there's nothing to not like there. The Messi arepa is also great, and their Reina Pepeada is solid too. Why a 4? The actual arepas which they stuff are pretty bland. I would prefer it a whole lot more if the arepas were even just mildly seasoned with some salt. That and sometimes their natural juices (mora and passion fruit specifically) seem to be pretty diluted. read more
