I have literally asked this company over the past 10 years to remove me from their call list. 3 days ago I received a call and told her to remove me. Today I get another call from them and I told them to remove me again. I have not owned the car they are calling about for at least 10 years. I would never use this company for anything as they have never respected my request over the past 10 years to remove my number. They have called me from 480-848-4456. Below are helpful linksl. I had a chip replaced at Danny's Family Car wash on Baseline by AJ's TEN YEARS AGO, thinking "It's quick and easy and paid by insurance! What's the big deal?" Ten years of harassing phone calls - THAT'S what. I have reported them, blocked EVERY number they call from, yelled, pleaded, moved out of state (TWICE!) done EVERYTHING I know to do, and STILL they CALL. I cry. They call. I scream. They call. Used this glass shop once several years ago as it was one that my insurance had on a list. Since then they have called every month, up to three times a day. Asked to be taken off the "call list", which I was for only the specific number they had called from with continued calls from other numbers. Have now blocked and reported six numbers. I hate this company. I used them once and now they never stop harassing me. I've asked them over and over again to stop, but they still call me about once a week. NEVER...I mean NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!! If you do, you will subject yourself to endless and frequent... telemarketing calls. This has been going on for nearly 3 years with sometimes as many 4 calls in a week. It all started when I was at a car wash and and agreed to have a small chip repaired in my windshield. NEVER do this. I've politely asked A.J.'s Auto Glass to stop calling, but they still do. I've signed up on the Do Not Call list, but they still call. This a violation of Federal Trade Commission law if you inform the company that you don't want these calls and that you are on the Do Not Call list and they call again. I've informed them that they are telemarketing to a cellular phone which is also a violation of federal law - the Federal Communications Commission. They don't seem to care as they still call repeatedly. Think you can just BLOCK their calls? Oh no, its not that simple. They call from multiple phone numbers such as 480-907-7230, 480-546-1739, 480-907-7683, 480-219-9368, 480-219-9475, 480-543-1740, 480-444-7660, 480-634-6298, and 480-848-5546. A.J.'s Auto Glass constantly adds new telephone numbers, so there's just no way to stop this harassment short of changing my cell number and informing hundreds of contacts. A visit to 800notes.com (a "who is calling me" site) and entering another of their numbers, 480-848-4456, you can see what this is like for people. Comments range from from inappropriate, to rude to even threatening by A.J.'s Glass Repair telemarketers. This is successful business practice? My state is a one party consent state regarding recording telephone calls. I'm going to record their next call, and then file complaints, seeking the maximum damages I can recover (approximately $15,000), with the Federal Trade Commission, the Federal Communications Commission, my state Attorney General, the Better Business Bureau and every other agency I can think of. I asked nicely, 3 years ago, for this to stop. Now I'm on a mission. Think this is an over-reaction? Okay. Go to a car wash, get a windshield chip repaired, receive literally hundreds of phone calls, in violation of both federal and state law, for years, and see how you feel. I have not lived in Arizona or owned a car for over 6 years. I continue to get calls from this company asking if I need auto glass repairs. I have repeatedly told them that I do not live in Arizona or own a car, but the calls continue to come, sometimes multiple times a week and others monthly. The numbers are always different and when I explain why I don't need auto glass (no car, not in Arizona) they promptly hang up without an apology or pleasantry of any sort. I have reported the numbers to the FCC multiple times, which may contribute to the slow decline in calls. I will be reporting yet another number today. Asking to be removed from their calling lists does not work because as the telemarketer admitted to me today, they "buy leads". This is a horrible company. Telemarketing abuse aside (they violate our DO NOT CALL status several times a week), they do embarrassingly crappy work. We had them replace my wife's windshield at her office. They had a very unprofessional slacker show up in front of her class A office building, smoking cigarettes, playing loud music, all the while with his toddler age daughter left strapped to her car seat in his truck while he did a shoddy job on my wife's car. My embarrassed wife and her colleagues watched from their office windows with concern wondering if someone shouldn't call Child Protective Services. After the work was done the windshield leaked into the headliner costing over a thousand dollars in damages. Even after this embarrassing disgrace, these charlatans won't stop calling to ask for more business. I've repeatedly told them we will go without a windshield before letting AJ Auto Glass go to work for us again and asked they stop the harassing phone calls. Like most of the reviews here, I was approached by someone at the car wash to get my window replaced. Insurance covered it. It was convenient and they actually did a good job. I would've even used them again. When the first phone calls started up, it wasn't a big deal, just said I'd contact them if I needed to. But the calls kept coming. I politely asked to be taken off the list. Every time they said they would, but the calls continued. Then calls from other auto glass places started coming. Not only are they still harassing me on a weekly basis, they found it acceptable to sell my number to every other Auto Glass place in the valley, and they are all harassing me. We had a rear window replaced years ago in Phoenix. Ever since then they call every couple months to see if we need service. I've said that we live 1000 miles away and to please don't call. Called me today from a "spoofed" number. I know it's spoofed because I got a call with the same number from another business that has zero to do with glass. I'm on the FTC do not call list. 7 years since I had my windshield replaced by these guys (and they did a terrible job at that and I had to have it replaced again to fix rainwater leaking through the glass after they replaced it), but the real problem is they WON'T STOP CALLING no matter how many times you ask. I keep blocking their numbers but it seems they always find a new number to use to call so the caller ID won't catch it. You would think after refusing their scam and repeated attempts at insurance fraud for trying to convince you to replace a perfectly good windshield, they would finally get the message and stop calling. After my windshield was replaced, my rear view mirror fell off the window. They came back out to fix it and I have been harassed with constant phone calls ever since!! I have used this company exactly once, 5+ years ago. They are relentless with their phone campaign. I normally don't do reviews, but for these idiots, I'm making an exception. Over the years, I've been quite successful at weeding out their calls quickly and adding ALL their numbers to my "blocked" list. However, as I'm expecting a call from a contractor and not sure what number it's coming from, I answered my phone to find these dopes at the other end. I've tried polite, I've tried rude, I've tried simply hanging up... They ignore any and all requests to be removed from their calling list. I was so excited when they asked me if I had any windshield damage that needed repair. "Why yes! Yes I do!" I heard the caller's tone of voice change immediately. OK, OK, I'll admit it... I set him up. As he broke into his shpeel, I quickly cut him off. I told him they replaced a windshield for me ONCE, THREE vehicles ago, and that they have annoyed me so much over the last 5 years that I will never use them again. EVER. In fact, I went so far as to say that even if there were no other glass shops anywhere, I would drive around without a windshield before I ever gave them any business ever again. I fully expect they'll call again from a new number. These people will call and harass you for years on end, no exaggeration. They do not follow the law, the do not call list is ignored, and if you see a Prescott Arizona phone number calling you then I suggest the following. Set up an appointment, and have zero intention of using them. Arrange a time/date and do not show up. Do not allow them to do any work on your vehicle. Since they have terrible business practices and harass customers, set up appointments and stick it to them by never showing up. They have zero respect for our privacy or time, and the work they do is awful. I made the mistake of using their substandard industry glass and will never do so again. There are different levels of quality to the glass that is used to make windshields, and this company uses a minimum requirement by law approach rather than giving you a great product.
